They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. All of our furniture and items arrived with no issues and no complaints. I definitely recommend Justin Bell and Gus! If you guys are ever are needing Movers, really, get these guys! They are so much fun and made this move for us a GREAT experience! They are such hard workers and you can definitely see it in their work ethic and attitude! Thank you guys for an amazing job and the laughs! I appreciate you guys so much! Unfortunately,I was not able to grab a photo as they worked and moved so quickly!

We contacted Olympic Movers to help us do a local move in under a week. They came out and gave an…read moreestimate based on the amount of men, time and equipment that would be needed to complete the move and we agreed. The day of they showed up on time, worked courteously and diligently. Overall we were impressed with the work the movers performed. For the inital estimate they company insisted that a veteran member of the stuff visit the apartment to assess the job. The proposal offered by management was 4 men for 4 hours at the first location and 3 men for 3 hours at the second. On the day we only had 4 men for 1.25 hours and then 3 men for 11 hours. Our final bill was 26% higher than the estimate. I understand that an estimate is just that, and that it may take longer than you originally thought. However, if there is a drastic difference in what was planned and what was delivered in terms of man hours I think it's fair to ask for some consideration. When I asked management to decrease the bill to something more reasonable (which would still be 16% over the estimate; they refused). In addition they started applying pressure to me and my wife to pay immediately. They called my wife the day they emailed us their bill of loading asking for payment. They then called repeatedly the next day demanding payment, threatening enforcement of their contract and trying to drive up the pressure to get paid as soon as possible. The man had the gall to say that we should give them a good review since they showed up and worked so hard (this was the manager/assessor, he was not working as a mover that day). Again, I understand in this industry it can be difficult to collect on a service that was already delivered, but that was really not necessary here and using these tactics within one business day (we moved Friday, they emailed us the receipt Monday and started the pressure on Tuesday) of a major event seemed unwarranted. Overall would I recommend Olympic Movers? I guess I might with some caveats. Their movers did a fantastic job. However, their billing and sales leave a lot to be desired. If money is not a concern I would recommend them; if it is I'd recommend a larger or more reputable company that will deal with you more fairly. I say this because: - They made an estimate based on their own assessment of the job, changed the agreed upon allocation of men and failed to deliver within their timeframe which ended up costing us more. - They refused to accept responsibility on their end for the higher cost and refused to accept a fair comprimise for failing to meet their estimate. - They employed high pressure tactics to collect their money and solicit a positive review.

Preston was personable, professional and was a great calming force throughout the stressful anticipation of a move out of state. On the morning of the move, Ethan and his crew (Jermaine and Damien, forgive my spelling) went into attack mode immediately. They wrapped all of our belongings with care (as if we were doing it ourselves, only probably a lot better) :). They packed us up in half a day and met us the next morning 2 states away ready to unload. Everything made it in one piece. We are beyond ecstatic with the results, and if we were going to move again I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Thank you again Olympic movers!

I have had many moves in my life--including an international move from Asia to the US,…read morelong-distance moves between Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle, and several local apartment moves. Not once have I had a bad moving experience--until I hired D11 Moving Company. This was by far the most unprofessional and frustrating move I have ever experienced. 1. Completely Incompetent Crew The main mover, Devyan, showed up with two assistants who looked like high school or college students. They were inexperienced, untrained, and essentially useless. Instead of efficiently handling the move, Devyan treated it like a teaching session--asking them what should be moved, correcting them when they guessed wrong, and explaining how it should be done. That might be fine in a training setting, but not when paying customers are on the clock. My fiancé even had to step in multiple times to move furniture and load the truck himself because these "assistants" stood around watching (see photos attached- my fiance is the one in the blue tshirt). What's the point of paying movers if we end up doing the work ourselves? To make matters worse, this wasn't a complex job. We live in a 700 sq ft one-bedroom apartment, and all of our belongings were already packed. All they had to do was load. Yet somehow, with three people, it still took them more than three hours just to move things out. Completely unacceptable. 2. Poor Planning + Zero Care for Belongings We had two U-Haul boxes, and Devyan kept repeating that all of our belongings would fit. Realistically, they should have--but because of his lack of planning and failure to organize how things should go in, they struggled. Instead of problem-solving, they started cramming and shoving items in just to make them fit. At one point, one of the assistants shoved our coat rack into the box and nervously said, "it didn't break." Unfortunately, much of our stuff did break or get damaged: -Scratches on our coffee table and dining chair -Scratches and dents on our TV stand -Our vinyl record stand shelf door completely broken off -Multiple cracked dishes -Damage to our coat rack In all my moves, I've never had so many items ruined--until D11. 3. Unprofessional and Careless with Keys To top it off, Devyan accidentally took our apartment key fob with him. We called him within one minute of driving away--he was still visible on the road. Instead of simply stopping so we could grab it, he kept driving. Later, he refused to return it, telling us we'd need to spend $40 each way on an Uber to pick it up from him because he didn't have the time or gas to come back. What could have been solved in seconds turned into unnecessary stress and showed how little they cared about their customers. Final Note Looking at other reviews, it's clear this isn't a one-time issue. Devyan seems to regularly hire inexperienced teenagers for these one-off jobs, sending them out with no training and no ability to actually handle a move. Combine that with how long they take, how carelessly they handle belongings, and how unprofessional they are overall, and you've got a disaster waiting to happen. If you value your belongings, your time, and your sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

As well as the old fart running the show who later tampered with our high priced items paperwork after leaving. We own some nice things and in nice condition. So to put down "stained, cracked, scratched, crushed, and broken" on EVERYTHING, so that if when it arrives it has any damage we wouldn't be able to claim it, shady. Also my wife's whole wardrobe box is missing, when I called they said it never arrived to the warehouse. So as you imagine I sit here thinking the worst that a group of old weirdos are sitting in a circle huffing my wife's underwear like the little box trolls they are. I sure hope they see this and find my fkn sht and I'll delete this review and turn into a 5 star for getting off their asses to actually do something good for their reputation and help me out. Review Number 3!…read more Once again Dwight and Malcolm were absolute kings, it had been literally years since I last used their services, and this was the biggest move yet. Due to life hitting me like a bunch of bricks I wasn't able to be fully packed like I usually am, so I sprung for the full service move and they handled my items and possessions as if they were their own. They packed my old apartment quickly and efficiently, at our new place they dropped boxes in the correct rooms, asked for guidance on some furniture and even set up our beds and labeled certain boxes to be opened first (for things that you'd need quickly, like food in the kitchen, or personal items for the bathrooms). While I hope not to need their service for a while because I'm in love with my new place, if and when we need to move again we will always reach out to them first! The price and service are supreme, and you will NOT be disappointed if you hire them!!
