I was in distress over a situation with a new washer/dryer installation that required a licensed electrician within a short timeframe. (Jason is also insured.) I found him by all his 5-star reviews on the internet. Jason was professional, helpful and kind. He listened to my need, asked for photos to help him identify the issue prior to arrival, and came first thing the next morning with his son Caleb (who is being trained and is a great sidekick helping his dad). Jason quickly identified the problem that required replacing a grounding wire for the new digital dryer technology and to ensure safety. He said he would also install a new breaker and place the new outlet in a more convenient spot for installation of the new W/D set. He made arrangements to come back the following morning with the needed supplies. It is an older, solid-built home. It wasn't an easy fix and required patience and persistence especially to get the line through small and thick materials within confined spaces. They worked tirelessly to complete the job without complaint and were kind and provided explanation throughout the process. Jason also looked at my dishwasher to determine that there was no power and found the problem to be at the junction at the floor. He corrected that, but the dishwasher is older and is not working correctly and is being replaced. He deemed it was a problem with the dishwasher and not an electrical issue. I am extremely satisfied with Jason and his son Caleb, the knowledge they brought, their attention to detail, the tenacity to complete the work professionally in a timely manner, and their kindness and reassurance to me. It gave me confidence that I now have a safe electrical environment for installation. I highly recommend them for your electrical work. I'll be putting him on speed dial!

I needed someone to check the electrical system for a 1969 house that we were going to buy. The owner, Jason, gave an estimate and let us know what needed to be fixed. The inspection price was very reasonable and he was able to check out the house quickly. The sellers used him to update the electrical system before we moved into the house. Because no one could be in the house during the process, the sellers chose to move out several days prior to closing. Overall, he was very professional, priced reasonably and kind. I would definitely recommend his company to those needing electrical support! And, if I need anything in the future, I will be contacting Jason A.

They far exceeded my expectations, and our home had a ton of little issues before their visits: I had a vent duct cover that was falling apart, a hose stuck onto the wall, and numerous other little issues that would have required several different tools, ladders, and expertise. I want to emphasize especially how amazing the drywall patching was done. It was seamless...without paint. It looked world's different than the slap-dash, amateur job our builders attempted in the same room. While you may hesitate to call an expert like we did (we were so determined to do it ourselves), the people at this company explained every step of their process. If you ask any questions during a check-up (on their maintenance plan), they'll walk you through the steps if you're able to do it yourself. I'm so impressed by their willingness to help, and they clearly hire people who are kind first and foremost. I really respect that in a company. Highly recommend all the specialists here. Jason and his crew coordinated well with the City of Oak Ridge. They worked expeditiously to complete the installation in one day so that my 96 year old father would have power back by the end of the day. They returned the next day to label the panel box and to move the ground wire to a permanent spot. I was super impressed that they fully concealed the ground wire in the carport. All their work is extremely neat and professional. They travel with an 8 ft. ladder and made my dad so happy when they replaced a light bulb in the cathedral ceiling that had burned out. Such kindness. Everyone I've dealt with at Diversified has been a pleasure to work with. I'll have them back to check out a problematic hall light fixture soon.

Today, I learned that…read moreALL of the circuit breakers they installed in the two transfer switch panels were non-compliant with the manufacturers specifications. The breakers appear to be the GE breakers that were in the prior main electrical panels, and they just reused them. I only discovered this because we were having a 90 AMP breaker that feeds a sub-panel trip randomly over the last several weeks. It seems the GE breakers that are commonly used in home electrical systems do not fit properly into the Generac transfer switch panels as they do not seat properly on the bus bar and they fail to establish a tight, uniform mechanical connection. A thermal camera assessment showed the 90 AMP breaker to be very hot. Premier did send a tech out to replace the breakers with spec approved breakers today, but my conversation with the GM was underwhelming. There was no hint of contrition in his voice. It was as if he was doing me a favor by making it right like it should have been from day 1. They directly violated Generac's explicit installation guidelines.
