I was impressed with Jason Amagrande from the first phone call I made to Amagrande Electric out of Loudon, TN. I was in distress over a situation with a new washer/dryer installation that required a licensed electrician within a short timeframe. (Jason is also insured.) I found him by all his 5-star reviews on the internet. Jason was professional, helpful and kind. He listened to my need, asked for photos to help him identify the issue prior to arrival, and came first thing the next morning with his son Caleb (who is being trained and is a great sidekick helping his dad). Jason quickly identified the problem that required replacing a grounding wire for the new digital dryer technology and to ensure safety. He said he would also install a new breaker and place the new outlet in a more convenient spot for installation of the new W/D set. He made arrangements to come back the following morning with the needed supplies. It is an older, solid-built home. It wasn't an easy fix and required patience and persistence especially to get the line through small and thick materials within confined spaces. They worked tirelessly to complete the job without complaint and were kind and provided explanation throughout the process. Jason also looked at my dishwasher to determine that there was no power and found the problem to be at the junction at the floor. He corrected that, but the dishwasher is older and is not working correctly and is being replaced. He deemed it was a problem with the dishwasher and not an electrical issue. I am extremely satisfied with Jason and his son Caleb, the knowledge they brought, their attention to detail, the tenacity to complete the work professionally in a timely manner, and their kindness and reassurance to me. There should be more stars for exceptional service providers like Amagrande Electric. Jason is clearly knowledgeable about electricity, and perhaps more so about customer service. First, he gets points for answering the phone. (4 out of 5 electricians I contacted before him did not answer, nor did they return my call.) I briefly described the issue, and he was able to work in my job after his last call. On the same day. After 5 pm the evening before a holiday. This level of attention is all but unheard of nowadays. After he arrived, he quickly identified the problem - a bad circuit - and had the parts he needed on his truck to replace it. He explained what caused the problem and also took care of another circuit that looked questionable. For the past week, I've been living in fear that my house was going to go up in flames at any moment. Jason left me with a peace of mind that it's going to be ok. When the breaker box on our meter burnt out, I panicked, but Mr Armagrande came out promptly. He helped me figure out how to start up the generator so our food in the fridges and freezer wouldn't rot. He went straight out and got the parts needed, but we had to wait for the utility company to disconnect the power at the pole, which was after the end of the business day.
