The power to my house trips last night (has happened before and husband of course fixed it in seconds) and of course it happens again while he's out of town and of course I can't seem to get it to work. I switch all of the buttons to off and then back to on. One section (living room and dining room) seems to be stuck in the off setting. I try to force it over to the left, ON setting and it won't budge. Turned everything else back off and on. In different order haha (this is when I start to feel like a silly girl and about cry). Husband's in the desert with no phone service. I didn't want to call an electrician because I knew it was a simple problem that I just couldn't seem to figure out. I called a few that quoted me $250-$350 for 'troubleshoot and repair' visit. I told the person over the phone I knew it would be a 3 minute job. That my (power lineman) husband would be so disappointed if I called for a simple circuit box hand holding (ugh). I then came across Power Link Electrical. Sean answers the phone. I explained to him what was going on and asked for a quote. He then asked me to send him a photo of the circuit breaker box and that he'd walk me through it. Whhaaaattt?!! I squealed gratitude and texted him the photos. He called me and told me the buttons that aren't going over to the left are tripped (they looked like they were stuck on off to me, turns out they were in the middle, tripped) and that I had to push them over to the right, hard and that's off. And sure enough, I was able to click them all the way over to the left to on. I know there some guys and maybe girls reading this laughing. Hey, I knew it was a simple problem that I wasn't getting. The power's back on. I'm so, so grateful for Sean and his kindness. He could've easily quoted me a price and come out. He didn't make me feel like a stupid little girl wasting his time. I'm overcome with gratitude for his helpfulness and kindness when that seems to be lacking these days in our world. I whole heartedly recommend this company to ANYONE. I will definitely be sharing this experience with my husband and we will be calling them in the future for work around our house in Vista that we bought back in August. However, the actual cause of the problem was never clearly identified because most of the visit was spent trying to upsell us on additional services or a new unit. I was repeatedly told that the unit was old, poorly maintained, and that the best option was to replace it. The first repair estimate was around **$6,000** for a compressor replacement. Later, I was offered another option for about **$900** to replace the start capacitor and relay, along with a coil cleaning. We declined both repairs and simply paid **$224** for the service call. Afterward, I drove to Home Depot, bought a replacement start capacitor for about **$20**, and installed it myself in roughly **15 minutes**. The AC unit started working again. Will the unit fail again soon? Probably--it is old. But for now, it works. Could an experienced technician have identified and repaired this particular issue quickly instead of focusing on selling a replacement? In my opinion, yes. Decide for yourself whether you want to call Aire for **repairs**. Based on my experience, the emphasis seemed to be on selling a new system rather than diagnosing and repairing the existing one.

We had to replace our 20+ year old appliances. We ordered the same appliances so that they could…read morefit in the existing cut-outs in our kitchen. We ordered a gas cooktop, wall oven, and a dishwasher. We tried to find an installer who could work with gas. We finally found Jeff at Appliance Service and Installation. After I told him about the appliances, he wanted to come and look everything over. Little did we know how appliances have changed in those years! Wall ovens now require their own built-in wall cabinet and they no longer fit in the existing base cabinet! They are 2" deeper. Jeff told us that he would have to move the existing gas line so that the oven could fit in the same space. Our old dishwasher used to be hard-wired. Now it came with a plug so we had to install a new plug. So, this was going to be quite a job. Jeff is VERY knowledgeable and professional and he explained how he would proceed with the job. He told us how much he charges (he works by the hour) and our job took him nearly 7 hours (he told us it would take this long). It was WORTH it!!!!!! We are confident that the electrical works, everything was done correctly and safely. The new gas line was installed with a new regulator. All the appliances are working correctly and smoothly. What a relief! Jeff is also very respectful of your house. He worked very cleanly! He even swept up after he finished! In the end, I believe you get what you pay for. I would NOT hesitate to have Jeff come and work on any appliance that we have.

They immediately got the unit that I preferred and installed it a week later. It was a 3 ton split system with the air handler in the attic. They arrived with the equipment around 9am starting with laying down tarps to protect our floors. They were polite and hard working. My opening into the attic was small and required some extra work to get the air handler through the opening. Around 5pm they fired it up and everything is working fine. This is a 15.2 Seer unit which qualifies for a $2000 federal tax rebate which more than paid for the difference in the high efficiency unit....no brainer. The final bill was for exactly the agreed price with no adders or surprises. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I was in distress over a situation with a new washer/dryer installation that required a licensed electrician within a short timeframe. (Jason is also insured.) I found him by all his 5-star reviews on the internet. Jason was professional, helpful and kind. He listened to my need, asked for photos to help him identify the issue prior to arrival, and came first thing the next morning with his son Caleb (who is being trained and is a great sidekick helping his dad). Jason quickly identified the problem that required replacing a grounding wire for the new digital dryer technology and to ensure safety. He said he would also install a new breaker and place the new outlet in a more convenient spot for installation of the new W/D set. He made arrangements to come back the following morning with the needed supplies. It is an older, solid-built home. It wasn't an easy fix and required patience and persistence especially to get the line through small and thick materials within confined spaces. They worked tirelessly to complete the job without complaint and were kind and provided explanation throughout the process. Jason also looked at my dishwasher to determine that there was no power and found the problem to be at the junction at the floor. He corrected that, but the dishwasher is older and is not working correctly and is being replaced. He deemed it was a problem with the dishwasher and not an electrical issue. I am extremely satisfied with Jason and his son Caleb, the knowledge they brought, their attention to detail, the tenacity to complete the work professionally in a timely manner, and their kindness and reassurance to me.
