I highly recommend Foster Electric. In June 2017, Chris Stewart from Foster Electric did an estimate on some electrical work needed for a kitchen remodel. Chris was courteous, patient, and informative as we discussed our plans. He offered good recommendations and delivered a timely and fair estimate. Aaron Perry and Jamison Roddy did the work that included placing and installing new canister lights, new lighting fixtures, and dimmer switches. The work was done professionally and under the estimated time and cost. We were very pleased with the work. In November, we called Foster Electric again about a problem with some outlets switching off in our Great Room. Since these outlets were on the same circuit as some of the kitchen work done in July, I was concerned that it was somehow related to the kitchen remodel work. Chris and his supervisor, Billy Smart, promptly returned to our home to check out the problem. They quickly confirmed that it was not related to the remodel work in July but was a loose connection in a great room outlet. They rewired the outlets on the circuit and fixed the problem. I needed to replace the security lights I had on the corners of my house which had stopped working with some new lights I had already purchased, and also needed a kitchen outlet that had a short in it looked at. I have used Foster Electric several times in the past, always with great service and called them again for this project. Mary the receptionist called me right back and was very pleasant and helpful with determining what I needed and scheduling two electricians to come out since it involved using extension ladders to get to my roof to replace my lights. Brice and Caine came out as scheduled, were very prompt and friendly, and had my lights installed in no time. They then checked my kitchen outlet and found the culprit, a loose wire causing the short, and also had that fixed in no time. I believe they had everything done in less than an hour or thereabouts, and the charge was extremely reasonable at around $150.00 My lights work fine and no more trouble with the outlet shorting. We have had the me room with no electricity in there for going on 13 years. No outlets worked, and main light was off. We have hired electricians to come and look at it, with no good results. I have even tried to fix it myself. And after spending 3 days in the hospital for 3rd degree burns to my arm hairs, I retired as an electrician. I finally gave Foster Electric a shot. Receptionist was nice. She sent over this angel of a man with his tool belt and wings named Steven. He got in there and went to work. Declining water breaks and eggs Benedict for a meal. Finally after he was finished, I was able to use every single outlet, and all lights were working. He didn't charge me for the extra time he was here helping me out. He made me sign his iPad, slapped me in the ass, and said enjoy your newly lighted room. What a man! All jokes aside, these guys came in and out and they fixed my problem. Very professionals. Amazing experience with Foster Electric! On Sunday our dryer caught fire which caused flickering lights and blinking electronics. A call to Foster Electric diagnosed the problem over the phone, had us make sure we unplug everything and had Joshua out right away. Joshua diagnosed the technical problem - it seems our electric box was old and rotted - and made sure the new installations were up to code in my community. He finished four hours earlier than promised and walked back through the house with me to make sure I was back in business. With the exception of the dryer (it was toast), some dead light bulbs were the only problem - easily replaced. Without Foster Electric and his employee Joshua our house could have burnt down. Very professional and thorough from start to finish. Hired them to upgrade my electrical system and they did everything to code and within the time period quoted. They even gave suggestions on how to decrease costs for their work. They cleaned up after themselves when the job was done and were very friendly and considerate to my two furbabies:) Would give 5 stars except I did notice some scratches on my hardwood floors from furniture moving and, although they removed large chunks of trash and vacuumed my carpet, there were small, sharp copper and plastic pieces on the floor that could have gotten stuck in my pets' paws if I didn't find them first. I had constructed a detached garage for an RV trailer and wanted to add a power pedestal like what is installed at campgrounds. The job involved 200 feet of trenching and pedestal installation. They quoted a lower or equal price to other competitors. They had excellent communication and did what they said they would do. They did experience some digging equipment problems but correct the issues and finished the job as specified without any additional charges. I was impressed with the fact that they showed up when they said they would. Called to let me know when they would arrive and contacted me whenever they left the job site. I also thought their pricing was very fair. All communications with the office personnel was extremely courteous and helpful. I would (and probably will) hire them for additional work. read more

These guys do great work. I used them for a big project to correct and add circuits, a ceiling fan box and outside lighting. They showed up right on time. It was a crew of four (Aaron, Scott, Chris and Caleb). They introduced themselves. The all were clean cut and very professional, courteous and friendly. We walked through the job and they all jumped in and got started immediately on different things. The job was bidded at 5-6 hours and was completed in 3.5 and came in at 35% under bid. Big savings for me. They cleaned up as they went and when they left they places was clean. Going forward I will use then for all my electrical needs at all my rental properties. I had an electrical issue that I needed a professional to check out (1 "room" in the house lost power). After checking the breaker/having ebp make sure i was getting proper power, I called and made an appointment, figuring a breaker had gone bad at this point. The person on the phone was pleasant and efficient. They called the day before to confirm and then I received a call that day from the tech advising he was on the way. Zach was AWESOME! Very efficient and went quicker than I'd anticipated. We confirmed what I figured it to be and he got it replaced. Simple and power restored! I had an issue with kitchen lights and I didn't know if it was the lights are the switches. I called Foster electronics and they came the next day. they determined it was the ballast in both lights caused by a surge. Chris said they could come back in a few days since he didn't have the ballast on the truck. I explained I needed it done today as I WAS SELLING THE HOUSE AND THE PHOTOGRAPHER was coming to take pictures tomorrow. Chris immediately said he would take care of it and went and got the parts I needed. He fixed it and did so professionally and pleasantly. Called for installation of two bedroom ceiling fans and to have a dining room light to be raised. Schedule for visit between 2-5pm, Eli called around 11:30am to see if they could come around 12:30. Told them that was great so they arrived within 25 minutes as they had said. Eli and Josh came and got to work within 90 minutes they had all my work done cleaned up removed the old boxes. Very friendly and skilled electricians. The cost was very reasonable. They will be the ones my daughter will call if any thing needs to be done to her home. This company was the only one with a human to talk to (others got back to me) and this young lady was very nice and helpful. we had a minor issue with 3 electrical outlets not working and although no one could come immediately, this nice young lady put me in her waiting list for fill-ins for cancellEd appointments. she called me back and we set a time when service person was free and I'd be home. Foster Electric electrician Ian Morton visited my home today. He conducted a very thorough free inspection of my indoor electric panel and my outdoor meter and electric panel. In addition to the work that we agreed needed to be done, Ian went above and beyond, voluntarity tightening a few loose screws on the indoor panel and replacing a loose plug as well as adding caulking to an open space on the base of the outdoor panel. We are in the process of selling our home and needed someone to come and address some small electrical issues our inspector found, a taped splice in the attic that required a box, and some ungrounded wiring throughout the home. Foster had their guys out within a day or two of our call, they arrived on time, acted professionally, cleaned up after themselves, and even halved the payment because it was easier than they had originally thought it was going to be. The electricians asked great questions and communicated with us about each item on the task list making adjustments when necessary. The job included replacing bathroom exhaust fans and several lighting fixtures, installing a new smoke detector and a wall mounted television.
