i've been to the South 16th St Garage several times and each time i was pleased with the service i…read morereceived, especially the price and honesty of the owner, dave. i don't know anything about cars, but i usually call and ask my dad before deciding anything about car repairs. they never try to upsell you here or ask for the unnecessary repairs and maintenance options that the chains (beware: Cloister) do. you can usually get an appointment within a day or two, or sometimes on the same day. this past time i needed an oil change they came and picked up my car and dropped it off because i was sick. they are so nice! can't really ask more in a garage!!

What an extrenely rude and condescending individual who was no one bit helpful. He was also rude to a customer who had called to have her truck looked at, again very rude to her also. after this negative encounter, it was a breath of fresh air to be treated with respect and an over willingness to help at the Dodge dealership down the road along with getting the issue resolved in 10 minutes for no charge. Schmitts would never get my business if I lived in the area! Go elsewhere as ignorance is unacceptable.

As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was draining coolant at a rapid rate. It was about 10 till 5 PM. Den's service center came up as the closest to me. I called so that I could get my car towed back home. The receptionist was very polite, took my information and within about 20 minutes they were there to pick me up. The tow truck driver was courteous, took special care in loading my car, and provided me with great conversation on the 30 minute ride home. The towing charge was fair and what I expected for the distance. I would highly recommend them for towing services.

This was a Sunday night and no time to get it fixed then. The next am, she filled it up again and headed to Columbia tire. She just needed to get home and had a 90 mile drive. The folks at Columbia tire didn't have her special size in a new tire but had a used tire, in fantastic shape, that matched what she had already. They had her fixed up and rolling in no time. I'm impressed with how quickly and effortlessly they worked to get my mom back on the road. Thank you.
