I was told another $15,000 over the original amount was needed for them to continue working. They had NOT even started building my deck. Had NOT repaired the sprinkler system they had torn up or the fixed the hole in my siding on my house they had made or fixed the fence that had been damaged or the retaining wall that had been dislodged by the equipment they had brought in. The cement that was poured for the patio under the deck was never finished even though KB Contracting paid the company in full that they had hired. I was promised it would get finished. Karsten is young and inexperienced, after promising he would finish the job and repair all the damage he did to my property he instead walked off the job. He and his crew also took all the cement I had already paid for to set the posts for the deck, 2 of my push brooms, a sledge hammer and a shovel.

Absolutely avoid if you want an honest assessment or technician willing to work. I confirmed in advance that we wanted our sewer line cleaned to comply with our inspection during our home sale. The technician came out and said he was going to scope it first, not the service we asked for, and then told my husband repeatedly it didn't need to be cleaned. I later got an email with a recommendation for a cleaning at $1400 and a bill for $154 for scoping the line. I already have an appointment to have the line scoped after the cleaning tomorrow by the original company who scoped it. Never asked for a scope, asked for a cleaning. I've attached the communication that they could do the cleaning while in site. Really challenging when the technician said no cleaning necessary, no repairs necessary and then sends an estimate for recommended cleaning and repair. Moving on to the next company who can maybe do the work we hire for and not waste hours of our time and now days.

He was easy to work with, reliable, and communicated well. Best of all, his work was top-notch. We solicited two other bids and he beat them both on price, and came sooner than they did. I didn't take a "before" picture", but wish I had. Place looks completely different, and you can't see the expertly laid-in drainage. He even spread the half-yard of leftover topsoil in our front yard and evened it out. This was not agreed to, he went above and beyond. I've seen others comment about waiting for him to get back about an estimate - He's a one-man operation and you may need to be a bit flexible on communication as he's his own scheduler, business manager, and worker. I found his communication just fine. Really glad I found JR.

Roger was great throughout the process and had a good price to resolve the issue. He worked around the cold days and frost and had quoted a price, but found that he over quoted $65.
