Great team! They showed up right at 9am and had my yard aerated in a few minutes. No broken sprinklerheads, and the only reason I didn't have them winterize my sprinklers was because we had someone scheduled for later in the week. Communication was proactive and prompt - Gabe got back to me right away when I requested a quote from Yelp. We were able to get on his books for the next day after I spoke with him. I also found out that they provide other services, like tree trimming, which we were shopping for. So, we're working to get on his schedule for that, too. Services requested were sprinkler blow out and aeration in the Fall. Gabe and his team were quick and experienced. No frills, knew exactly what they were doing. His son was part of the team and was personable and polite. The cost was roughly in line with other businesses I've hired to do the same or similar services. What really made a difference was that they were able to schedule an appointment the same day I called. Initially didn't get an answer, but Gabe called me back within a few minutes. Minor note, if you're requesting aeration or thatching, I would recommend either pointing out your sprinkler heads or marking them prior to the beginning of the work. The aeration guy didn't hit any sprinkler heads, but I hadn't marked or pointed them out and he narrowly missed one of the more hidden heads. Not his fault, it was pretty buried and in a more direct line. If anything I'd ask them to mark the sprinkler heads while they blow them out, but aside from that an excellent service. Unoriginal name (there's an AvaLawn in TN started in 2007), no website, and worst of all, poor service! Scheduled aeration, no one told or reminded me to water the lawn, so they weren't able to penetrate the lawn and only made 1/4-1/2 inch plugs. Plus they didn't get near the edges as there was 10-12 inch gap. Your experience may be different but mine sucked. Piss poor customer service and basically no aeration.
