Strawberry Thumb Print cookie so Good
Candace F.

First time visit had a delicious thumb print cookie with strawberry jam and a latte. Absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back and have lunch. Beautiful and friendly atmosphere.

Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, the eclectic cafe does it all! They have a beautiful selection of baked goods, take-home prepared meals and dine-in options. They were also recently voted "best brunch in Orillia". They are "feast on" certified, meaning that a certain percentage of their menu is made with Ontario grown foods. Also, the owner Melanie is a Chopped Canada Champion. This spot is a definite must try in Orillia!

Cajun Maple Tomato Soup - Unique and Bold

They haves moved a few doors down to a spacious full on restaurant. Food is still outstanding.

I came here last month for a nice lunch and coffee while visiting the in-laws. First of all, they have an eggs benedict special every Saturday, with hollandaise sauce from scratch. I know this, because the server and I waxed poetic about hollandaise sauce for way longer than any strangers really should. The eggs benedict came with either a roasted tomato or Italian ham (which is what I opted for). I also got a coffee, which was nice and mellow. I hate a burnt, acidic coffee since I drink it black. After lunch, I browsed around the antique shop that the cafe is located in, which is super fun on its own. I even bought a used graphic novel for $10, which is an amazing price. The antique shop is closing soon due to the owner retiring, so I don't know what the future of this cafe is. Go visit while you have the chance!

I expected so much better. Lacking in presentation and quality. Pre made shipped in eats.

Super cute bakery located steps from the waterfront. I was walking by in search for something to…read moresatisfy my sweet craving when this place caught my eye. A small, locally owned and operated bakery that caters to folks who need gluten free desserts - which isn't me but I'm always game to try! The selection of goods made it hard to choose just one, but I ended up getting a blueberry oatmeal muffin. Fresh, flavourful and filling!! As with many gluten free bakery items they can be a little on the sticky side but I enjoyed it just the same. The lady who served me was very kind and welcoming. Appreciative of the service and in fact before handing me the debit machine to pay, she skipped the tip option for me which I thought was very respectful. For anyone with gluten intolerance or anyone who loves their baked treats I would recommend you check out this place on your next visit to Orillia.

They did have plenty of bagels when we popped in later in the afternoon. They also keep items coming, so I'm sure you'll score something delicious! Stopped in with my mom on a Saturday and were warmly welcomed. I had stopped in a few weeks back for a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving that was delicious which is why I had to go back! On this occasion, we decided to try their flat bread and soup for a mid afternoon lunch - both were so flavourful. We both agreed we would order that again for sure. It was the perfect comfort meal on a cooler fall day. We also got some sweet treats to take with us. There was still plenty to select from. We opted for a date square, apple butter square, raspberry cheesecake square and kitchen sink cookies - They all disappeared before I remembered to take a photo - oops! :) Let me say, the date square was jam packed with dates! Everything had the right level of sweetness and tasted so good. I will definitely be back! They have so much more to try! Oh and they also offer a special brunch menu on Sundays. Highly recommend stopping in. You'll be supporting local and I'm certain you'll find a sweet/savoury treat or two!
