I got the same lady answering the phone for all these Swords taxis(and hackneys). The website said all kinds of positive things even gave me a rate. The lady ,on the other hand said the web site was being worked on and out dated. Really? All of them? So, it didn't matter who I called. Twice i got the same old guy who wouldn't even get out of his cab to open the trunk and help with luggage until we asked. First time he added 3euro at end that we were not aware of. Second time he also added one euro because we used a credit card. Funny that the phone lady did not tell us that when i asked her which payment was preferable. Even stranger that the one euro didn't show on my receipt. Cab was not clean. Not impressed.

If you think that an extra 10 euros or so is warranted for processing the credit card and administering the booking, then by all means use them.

This short term parking lot and attached hall are just across the flyover from the airport's arrival and departure area. On the far side of the Atrium a taxi rank and Busáras stops are neatly arranged along the looping new roads built just behind the garage. Inside are facilities to pay for parking, check or buy replacement/ additional luggage as well as a convenience store with cafe style seating if there's absolutely no way you can wait to get into the airport for your breakfast roll.

It wasn't as expensive as it could have been either, as we got flights with a seat sale they had going. 130 EUR return, which still is pricier than your average budget airlines. But we did save the cost AND time it would have taken to get to our hotel from any of the other London airports. City airport was only 1.2 miles from our hotel, we could have walked it. It was totally worth the cost. The crew were pleasant and polite. And the free G&T tasted great. A thoroughly refreshing flight from Dublin to London and back again with CityJet.

Although it felt a bit tight in the cabin, the service was amazing. How many airlines give out complementary food and drinks anymore? Even for a short flight like this I was offered coffee or tea and a muffin or fruit bowl for breakfast. On the flight back I had a glass of wine and crackers. Each time they also gave a piece of chocolate. This is the way flying was a few years ago. Cityjet also flys into London City which is so convenient to Central London. I highly recommend Cityjet for Dublin to London travel.

We flew on the A330-300, which is the biggest plane in the Aer Lingus fleet. The flight attendants were friendly. The food was also decent. San Francisco to Dublin- I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the food. The lie-flat seats are on the narrow side though. What I was most happy about is that there was a Revival Lounge available (Business Class customers) that we could use after picking up our luggage. A shower was what I needed to help me get through the rest of the day, since we still had a layover and another flight to catch.

This latest flight had much more room , more comfortable seats and want to shout out Ivan , flight attendant who was super friendly and got my wife a Celiac meal. Was a bit apprehensive, waiting for the bus to arrive, based on some of the previous comments. But the bus arrived exactly on time, scanned our tickets and off we went. We actually arrived at the airport a few minutes early. But the big learning is book your tickets early in case the bus fills up.

We got to the airport bus terminal 7 mins before it was scheduled to leave, but the ticketing and boarding was so seamless we were seated with 2 minutes to spare! Round trip cost was 17€ per adult and 9€ per kid, whereas a taxi would have cost us over 100€ each way. The seats were comfortable and while the bathroom was not operational, we were fortunately not in dire need of relieving ourselves! The driver was gracious and let us know where to disembark. The hour- long journey to Dun Laoghaire flew by, and the return trip a few days later was equally rewarding and comfortable. Air coach is the way to go!

The bags can only be weighed three hours before departure and then you manually scan your bags into the conveyor belt without a human present to assist. Luckily, I was able to bypass and go through one of the two human reps in the 40 minute or less lane, who allowed me to place my bags onto the conveyor and she tagged them - probably since I'm old. There are a few Ryanair staff members walking around to answer common questions. The luggage area is clean from debris and garbage bins nearby in addition to bathrooms. Basically, dont arrive early.
