I find Aircoach to be a very convenient bus service especially if you've just landed. If you need a quick shuttle that runs 'to and from' the Dublin airport, then I'd recommend these guys. They've got a few route options, but I've only scheduled their 700 line that frequently runs every 15 minutes for pick up/drop off to the Dublin City Centre. Usually dropped off in front of the Gresham Hotel. And only €11 round trip. Can't beat that right? Why pay €30-35 for a taxi, in comparison. As for service and staff, I've had helpful ones and others just talking amongst each other ignoring me. The driver's tend to be nice and informative, and some in a rush to make the next stop. Other highlights: ~ WiFi connection sucks on-board. You'll connect to the bus, but the bus isn't setup as a hotspot. I can never connect. ~ The seats seem large enough and somewhat comfortable. ~ They've also got outlets to plug-in and recharge. ~ You can easily purchase your ticket(s) online, and show the driver you email confirmation instead of printing it out. ~ They have an additional line that also runs to Belfast. I'll just keep utilizing them until I find something better.

Clearly the do not plan the schedule to account for traffic. The driver was already running 10 min late at First stop in Bray. By the time we got to Ballsbridge passengers thought it was early.

I'll start this review by addressing a few of the statements I've seen in other reviews! Aircoach is not more expensive than a cab. I guess it really depends on the cab, the driver, the day, how far you're going, etc, but more often than not you're better off taking Aircoach! My husband and I arrived in Dublin to stay with family for a few days and even they recommend Aircoach to us over a cab and I have to say I'm really grateful they did! The bus was super comfortable and had lots of room, it was a nice scenic drive around Dublin, and the driver was really excellent at helping everyone who had questions about where to stay and what to do. I was impressed. And, (and this is the big one for me), I was able to spend my hour and a half bus ride to the outskirts of Blackrock browsing the internet and emailing my family to let them know I had arrived safely. You can't do that in a cab! (The Wi-fi is free.)

Having previously used the airport shuttle + the train (totalling over €13), this option was far and away better. So glad that my friend in Maynooth learned of it while I was visiting her! The service is, to my knowledge, a relatively new one. The small bus is very nice and the driver was friendly and a little chatty as we made our way from Maynooth (the first stop of the route) through a few other towns and villages toward the airport. There was plenty of room for average sized luggage at the back, and hand baggage could be brought to the seats. The bus parks right near the entrance to the terminals and makes for an easy access to the airport check-in areas. The bus operates 2 routes, and while I only have experience of the one, I'm sure the other is similarly served well. Definitely great for the many students, etc. in Maynooth. While the current schedule only travels either way about once every 2 hours, therefore not being as convenient as an hourly service, it's certainly cheaper and far faster than the other travel options if their schedule works well with your flight time. I wish this had been here for previous visits!

I bought a return ticket that used to be much cheaper and surprisingly it double price at moment, as the buses run up to 6pm I couldn't use the return tickets on my way back, tried to refund or even extend it, therefor those options aren't available. I'm pretty upset with the service and I will start to use M7 bus from Red Cow instead, what offers a bette timetable and also punctuality.
