The driver told us that he gets the metered fare. Nothing on their web site hints at the surcharges, and when I asked them for an explanation, they answered as follows: "you made a booking and received a quote that includes processing credit cards, administrating your booking, a pick up fee (2 Euro) and ensuring a driver is allocated and in place at the correct time." If you think that an extra 10 euros or so is warranted for processing the credit card and administering the booking, then by all means use them.

When a below average taxi driver called Colin, was supposed to meet me for pick up at Dublin airport, was a no show, pretending that he had come to the exit, the point I said I was. I was thinking "what an idiot" I was stuck at the airport for an hour. He obviously got a better deal and left. Taxi drivers like that should stay in bed, as they give good cab drivers a bad name. The taxi drivers are friendly and are generally used to dealing with people from all walks of life from the inebriated student to the polished professional.

Well... probably THE worst taxi company I've ever come accross…read more yes, it's 20% offf but unless your willing to put up with the rude, incompetant staff and drivers that they have there, your better off going for a different taxi company that is really only 2-3 euro more expensive. Not only was the man on the phone, the receptionist, rude and a generally vile person to deal with on the phone, he was probably as useful as a rice cracker! The driver turned up... but for about a minute drove off and then rang my number. What use is that ringing me and then driving off? I rang the company back and they said they could not send another driver or the same one as when he arrived there was someone staring out the window at him and made no effort to come out. This might be believable if there had been anyone else in the house at the time apart from myself.... but there wasnt. Just me and I certainly didnt stare out the window at him, no beep, no phone call to say he areived until after he left. Called a differwnt company and got a polite and friendly driver and an even more efficient man dealing with me on the phone. DON'T CALL ASAP unless your willing to put up with rude people and seemingly bad drivers.
