Dublin to San Francisco- When we got to the airport, we utilized the self-service bag drop. It was quick and easy. The flight itself was good overall as well. We flew on the A330-300, which is the biggest plane in the Aer Lingus fleet. The flight attendants were friendly. The food was also decent. San Francisco to Dublin- I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the food. The lie-flat seats are on the narrow side though. What I was most happy about is that there was a Revival Lounge available (Business Class customers) that we could use after picking up our luggage. A shower was what I needed to help me get through the rest of the day, since we still had a layover and another flight to catch. read more

Our experience with Aer Lingus from Dublin to Chicago was great. Check-in/baggage check was a breeze with minimal wait, friendly service and helpful guidance for our trip and baggage claim upon landing at our final destination, which was Nashville via connection at ORD. They have self service kiosks that allow you to check-in, however we were unable to utilize as we did not have boarding passes yet due to the variety of booking through Amex. We did luggage drop and boarding pass printing at the counter. There was no hassle and it was efficient. Once checked in and bags dropped, we hit the gate and the agents there were helpful in keeping everyone updated. The plane arrived and we boarded on time and with ease. I appreciate the boarding process of back to front, I wish more US airlines would adopt this! It makes the stress of using the overhead bins so much more tolerable. The plane was a wide body in 2-4-2 layout, which is the best variety of aircraft for a lovely 7.5 hour flight. The plane was clean and in good condition, with the exception of one of the toilets being out of order in the back. This created a bit of a line at times. The meal service on the plane was better than expected with a full meal including a main pasta or chicken dish, side salad, bread, dessert and water. This was followed by a baked chicken roll/hot pocket and then ice cream later in the flight. All of this was in between coffee and drink services. The flight attendants were friendly, helpful and efficient. No baggage issues from start to finish. Even after a 7.5 hour flight and a 7 hour layover, our bags made it to our final destination without issue. Overall, experience on Aer Lingus was great. When heading back to Dublin/Ireland in the future, we are excited to utilize Aer Lingus. read more

Aer Lingus - Airlines Near Me - Dublin, D

I have flown several times with this airline and overall have been pleased. Last year on our way home from France a flight was cancelled and we had to stay overnight in Dublin. Were told by airline we'd be reimbursed for hotel stay yet our claimed was denied. Tried fighting this yet were never reimbursed. I should not like this airline however had a better experience this time. The staff are friendly as are the pilots. We found that the pilots on all 4 flights were informative and had very smooth landings. Still disappointed on not receiving the refund last year though. read more

If you are not a masochist you will hate everything about this airline. I've never in my life wanted my plane to crash but our flight to Ireland had me almost wishing for the pain to end. The seats are hard plastic covered with a very thin layer of material, no padding whatsoever. The seats are way too close together and have a very odd body contorting shape to them. Now for the airport... metal seats!?!? Again with no padding? WTAF with that? I'd gladly pay extra for padding. So, with that said there's a whole lot of room for improvements. read more

Aer Lingus left our luggage at Denver airport, now 30 hours later it is still at Denver airport. Filed missing luggage report along with 10 other families that were also missing luggage., with email and phone number and yet nothing not one word. No updates, no communication,, what terrible customer service!! Never fly this airline as it has no customer support. read more

Unorganised and unhelpful. App doesn't work right. Check-in counter understaffed. Telephone wait was too long.

Okay ... so had an excellent flight out last weekend from LAX to Dub. Went flawless ... Crew on board was perfect , airplane super clean and comfortable .... Then the return flight home , I'll start this off as it was the worst situation I've had in maybe 600 different flight. I have a knee injury and when checking in on the app , I hit the button saying I can walk but not long distance .... Like mile so just need little extra time to board. So .... Somehow I got bounced out of extra paid exit row where I was sitting with my son to the back of plane Since almost impossible find customer service at airport , called ... 45 min wait gave up. Then realize if at auto prompt you mention "temporary disabled" rep is on in one min. So although okay on travel here they bump be saying I mention can't walk "long distance" Which wasn't issue at LAX , so rep this time was cool but couldn't help. So I'm writing this before talking to gate person .... But want people to know budget airlines can be big issue when something like this Okay let's go see what happens at gate Well I'm in the back , but the desk person was very friendly and really tried. And in the end I was able to move over to two open seats , so will chalk this part up to a neutral situation Flight home was good , I actually like the food on this airlines , son not so much. Flight attendants little less friendly , I asked for water once but thought I was asking for free drinks the response I got .... But got the water. One thing about this airlines in coach, the lean back on the chair is a lot , great for person leaning but for the person behind it is tight ... surprised they allow so much space invasion. But given all I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars The plane was super clean , most the people I dealt with very helpful and friendly ... I'm going to go 4 from my viewpoint , but take in all lve said and consider for yourself I do overall recommend Aer Lingus and the direct flight option and price can't be beat Cheers read more

Honestly, great experience with Aer Lingus! We've flown with American Airlines and France airlines also. So, that is what our comparison is for Aer Lingus airlines. First off, they had the cutest seats with clovers on top! Adorable. Secondly, the gave everyone a little pillow for the flight. How sweet is that! And lastly, we were provided earbuds with clovers on them for free. Awesome! The hospitality was top notch for economy! They also had meals on our flight! We had an overnight flight and they fed us dinner and breakfast in the morning. Dinner was a small dish with side and dessert cup. And breakfast was a bagel sandwich. That's pretty dang cool if you ask me! 10/10 experience! Would fly with Aer Lingus again! read more

First time flying Aer Lingus and it was lovely. Normally when coming from the States I opt for British Air but when needing a direct flight from LAX to Dublin this is the way to go. Being an international flight, the LAX terminal is majorly easy to navigate to get to the gates where planes like aer lingus fly out of. The plane itself was clean, friendly staff, and nice little business class baggies (most business class give you the little freebies) and theirs is not as good as British airs but still close. The staff were friendly and of course accents are charming. Makes me feel safer as a person that hates flying when everyone's speech is so special lol. But really, silliness aside nice people and easy from start to finish. Business class beds/seats were relatively comfortable. Only issue I had being a dominant right hander is my arm regularly hit the buttons that control the seat so I did look a little wild from time to time with my seat jumping up and down. That happened the whole flight, oh well. Food was not good though. That's my only real negative critique. I don't love eating on planes to begin with but their selection was very ick. Nice little cocktails though and ciders to makeup for it. I'd definitely keep this airline on my radar when planning future flights to Ireland. read more

This used to be a good airline when it was State owned. But since privatizatioin it has only continued to go downhill. A few years ago we took a flight from Orlando to Dublin. The plane had just been purchased from a middle eastern airline and was in dire state of repair. None of the entertainment systems worked for example. Things were hanging out of the cabin. Recently I booked a flight with them and cancelled it because of some confusion over the seating. I was entitled to a full refund. I submitted a request and no response. A second request also went unresponded too. So I had to dispute it with my credit card company. Going forward I will stay away fro Aer Lingus and suggest you do too. read more

I would rather contract ringworm and die of sepsis and an electric eel shock than ever deal with this sham of a company again. I bought a plane ticket. I had to change it. I was told I'd receive a refund voucher. 5 calls, 4 emails, 6 weeks later and absolutely nothing came my way. I was confronted by combative customer service, two of whom hung up on me, no one escalated my case, no one could get me a manager, and they all told me the "voucher" would be received in five days. It never came, and as of this review it still hasn't. I hope aer lingus explodes in the sun and all of its buildings burn to ash and cinder. read more

Before Sleep: I got a business class seat, ‍ a great dinner meal, and a dessert that looked like a pink cupcake. After Sleep: Got punched in the stomach during my sleep. I was forced to fight back. The guy who attacked first was fine, but I had to use gauze. But I did take a picture of them so I could know when they are there. Summary: The guy who hit me... is an IDIOT. I could've been flying to Cork and driving to Dublin instead of flying to Dublin itself. I was unlucky. read more

I flew Aer Lingus from ORD - DUB, both in business class. I will say on the way over to Dublin the flight crew were brilliant. Talkative, polite and not knowing they were there. I will say the food and beverages are a little less than desired, it did not help that they did not have Diet Coke!! On the way back ... really poor all around. Flight crew looked annoyed to be there, and ran out of beef for the main meal. They only had fish left, and the smell when it was heated up... ugh.... Smelled like the men's toilet in an old pub, that gets a cleaning once a week... not good. For what I paid for this flight, I feel taken advantage of. Also row 7 middle right seat (7G I think) had the armrest peeled back.... Looked really bad... Air India would be an upgrade! read more

I flew Business Class from Chicago to Dublin, over night. The plane seemed to be older with quite a small pod. Even at 112 lbs and 5'4", I barely fit on the sleeping platform. The food was like coach food on real dishes. I connected in Dublin for another destination, still on my Business Class ticket. My confirmation said this. I was told that there was no Business Class section for this flight, but there it was!! A nice surprise. But, I got NO service. I asked for a cup of tea and was going to have to pay 3.5 euros for hot water and a tea bag. I showed the flight hostess my confirmation with the class of service I paid for, and she said they do not have Business Class on that plane and therefore I would get NO service, even though I paid for Business Class. It was a 3 hour flight and there was not even beverage service for a glass of water. On both flights, the lavatories in Business Class were the same as in coach class, not upgraded in any way. Another thing is that I got an email from Aer Lingus the day before my flights saying that I could check my bag in early, between the flights. I dragged my bag to their counter in a different terminal in Chicago, learning about the tram to get there. I am a solo, senior female traveler. The counter was closed. I called customer service and they told me that applied to Dublin only. Clearly, I had one ticket showing that I would be checking in the next day in Chicago and not in Dublin! They never should have sent me that invitation for early bag checking. The woman on the phone couldn't understand why I had an issue with it. Really bad communication. It was stressful and time consuming for me for nothing. read more

Scummy scummy handling of our damaged baggage and subsequent claims. They don't care and they push you off and make it difficult to communicate. My son's infant car seat was absolutely destroyed after being checked on an Aer Lingus flight (in a protective bag). The metal bar across the stop was completely split when we got our car seat back. This is a $550 USD seat that was gifted to us when my son was born. Damaged baggage claim resulted in $90 USD offer. If you know car seats, you know they need to be replaced after this kind of damage has occurred. Couldn't talk to anyone on the phone, they told me I had to file a complaint. Slow to answer the online complaint, pushed me off, ignored my three follow up emails when they finally did reply, and just informed me they're closing my case. Without ever having answered my questions. I'm livid with how I've been treated. Do not fly Aer Lingus. read more

For anyone who is handicapped or (like us) has a handicapped child, this airline has specific policies AGAINST supporting Handicapped people. It is an atrocity that they are even allowed to operate. Anyone who cares about Handicapped rights should boycott them. read more

It's not a great look when your crew of flight attendants are sitting in the terminal trash talking their employer (you), their colleagues from previous flights, and the folks they "have to serve" (us). On my most recent flight I was also yelled at by a flight attendant - something I've never experienced before. As we approached the seats we paid extra to specifically choose and have, we noticed other folks were sitting there. We politely told them those were our seats, they questioned us back, and then one of the flight attendants started (and I mean this literally) screaming at us for holding up the line. "TAKE YOUR SEATS, TAKE YOUR SEATS, TAKE YOUR SEATS. LETS GO, LETS GO, LETS GO." We repeatedly - and calmly because at this point, people were staring at us - pointed out to her that our seats were taken by someone else; she just kept screaming at us to move along. When the people in our seats eventually (and sheepishly) got up and moved to their actual seats in the center of the cabin, she continued to shout at my partner and I for "taking too much time", "being in everyone's way", "slowing things down". Then, when we didn't have anywhere to put our stuff because the overhead bins near our seat were full, she started to scream at us again, "PUT YOUR STUFF SOMEWHERE. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE. PUT IT UP! PUT IT UP! PUT IT UP!" There was no reason for this behavior. We even sat on the tarmac for an extra hour because we were in a queue to take off. So: what exactly was the rush? We didn't feel comfortable the entire flight because of her. She even locked the bathrooms two hours before landing. Why? As you can imagine, getting off the plane took twice as long as normal because no one's stuff was in an overhead bin anywhere near them. Yikes, Aer Lingus. Yikes. ALSO WORTH NOTING: Currently, if you're taking a regional jet and you have a carry-on from your transatlantic flight, if it's too big (which, usually it is for these small aircrafts) you will be charged €35 at the gate. read more

Aer Lingus failed to meet basic standards of diligence during the booking process. I have spent 6+ hours on the phone speaking to multiple individuals just trying to get a voucher so I can rebook a flight. The booking process system through customer relations was repeatedly unstable, unclear, and difficult to navigate, resulting in confusion regarding fare conditions and confirmation details. At no point did Aer Lingus provide consistent or reliable communication, and subsequent attempts to obtain clarification were met with incomplete or contradictory information. This lack of follow‑through and failure to provide accurate, timely updates constitutes a broader pattern of operational and communication deficiencies that materially affect my ability to rely on the contract of carriage. I repeatedly got that Aer Lingus would escalate this concern to their "Voucher Department" and it would be 1-2 days. Aer Lingus could not even provide direct contacts to that department, seems very odd. While EU Regulation 261/2004 does not govern booking system directly, it does require airlines to provide clear, timely information to passengers -- a requirement Aer Lingus has failed to meet at any stage of this process. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer support as well. I was referred to your "policies and procedures" which I am not even sure those that are referencing them even know what they are. It has been a nightmare to work with Aer Lingus and completely unacceptable. Makes me not want to travel to Ireland which is very unfortunate as the Country itself is a great destination. At this point my expectations for Aer Lingus have been ruined to the point I am not sure that there is repair. I would rather take any other form of transportation then fly with Aer Lingus. Such a shame as I had high hopes for one of Ireland premier airlines. read more

Booked and paid for business class and checked I. With appropriate boarding pass. Arrived at the airport only to learn that they downgraded us without notice to accommodate pilots. I traveled to and from Dublin, Ireland on Aer Lingus earlier in June 2024, it was my first time flying Aer Lingus. For direct flights from SFO to DUB, the flights were good, mostly uneventful. Their in-flight entertainment systems had a good selection of movies to pass the time. The in-flight was okay, I didn't have high expectations for airline food, it got the job done. On the 11 hour flight back, i slept through the main meal service and when I woke up I asked a flight attendant and they brought me something to eat pretty quickly. Minor feedback, I'm not used to paying for beer/alcohol on international flights (at least on most airlines I fly from SFO to Asia). I'd fly it again if I'm headed in that direction. read more

Aer Lingus has a budget reputation but we have had nothing but great flights between Chicago and Dublin. Non-stop and the flights have never been crowded. The last flight had enough free space we all took 3 seats to sleep. read more

Aer Lingus: Masters of Apology, Amateurs at Action If losing luggage were an Olympic sport, Aer Lingus would take home the gold. My bag disappeared into the abyss of their care, and weeks later, I'm left with nothing but their hollow promises echoing in my ears. Their customer service team could write a bestselling book titled "How to Say the Right Things Without Actually Doing Anything." Every call begins with empathy, sprinkled with reassuring phrases like, "We'll escalate this immediately." Spoiler alert: immediately is Aer Lingus code for "never." I've given up hoping they'll find my belongings--I'm now just curious if their lost luggage department is a black hole where all the unclaimed bags of the world congregate for a wild party. Perhaps my favorite jeans and laptop are sipping piña coladas somewhere. Aer Lingus, if you're reading this, I don't need another scripted apology. I need my bag. Or reimbursement. Or maybe just honesty: "Your luggage is gone, and we have no clue how to fix it." At least that would be refreshingly transparent. If you're flying with Aer Lingus, pack light--and keep your essentials strapped to your body like a survivalist preparing for the apocalypse. Trusting them with your bags? That's a gamble even Vegas wouldn't touch. In conclusion: Aer Lingus, where bags go to vanish and complaints go to die. 1 star (because I can't give zero). read more

Check-in is pretty hectic at Terminal 2, where there a bunch of people trying to 1) check in their bags via full service, or 2) self-tag their own bags via self-service. I tried doing the self-service, but my ticket had a problem and wouldn't allow me to self-tag my luggage. I flagged down an Aer Lingus worker who then assisted me with printing a bag tag for me. She was able to sort out the baggage issue I had (I believe it was because I was checking my bag in a few minutes earlier than allowed). Thanks to her, I could be on my way! I flew using Avios - which includes a 20kg bag when flying within Europe. If you are flying to the USA, you are allowed a 23kg bag with Avios. I was also told that if you are flying with a carry on, you are allowed priority boarding with Aer Lingus. For those of you traveling from gate 335 (intra Europe flights), you will be shuttled to a satellite area where multiple flights depart. Queues can be pretty long due to the fact that multiple flights are departing from gate 335, so I recommend you allot a few extra minutes to ensure you don't miss your flight. I had a 1pm flight, and got to the satellite gate by 12:45. There were a few others with me in line who rushed to the gate with me (and after me, well near 12:55pm!). That being said, gates usually stay open until right before scheduled time of departure! Service is warm and friendly. However for intra Europe flights, no snack or beverage is included. Everything including water costs money. In terms of on board complimentary offerings, AerLingus is not any better than RyanAir. read more

Prior to the pandemic, we had planned a vacation to Ireland, England and Scotland. We booked a direct flight out of our hometown, Miami to Dublin and then on to Glasgow and London. All of that came to a screeching halt when the pandemic lockdown went into effect. Leisure travel was not permitted. Aer Lingus gave us the option to get our money back or to accept a voucher good for travel at a later date with the voucher being worth 110% . Under the assumption that they would continue their Miami-Dublin direct flights and since we were planning on making the trip after the lockdown ended. Fast forward to three years later. When I went to book the trip using the voucher, I discovered (though it was written in the terms that it could not be redeemed on any trips involving code-share flights) and much to our disappointment, no longer had those direct flights. I contacted their offices asking if I could book a flight that had a code share airline that flew to one of their direct flight cities and was told no. I then asked if I could book on a code share airline and pay for that fare and then connect it to a flight out of Orlando, the next closest city that had direct flights. This, so that if the connection was missed, we would not be out our transatlantic fare. Once again, the answer was no. All of this left a very bad taste for the airline. We ended up booking the earliest flight out of Miami and had to hang around the Orlando airport with all our luggage since their bag check did not open until 3 1/2 hours before the flight . After we were finally able to drop off our bags, we proceeded to the business class lounge. The flight cabin was clean and relatively comfortable. The outbound flight attendants were pleasant, though not overly friendly. The meals offered on the outbound flight were acceptable for airline food, though nothing really stood out as exceptional. I had ordered a fish dish and my husband ordered lamb. As with typical airline food, the items were not identifiable. I started to eat the vegetables and had my meal ¼ finished when my husband finally got his. I then bit into the protein as asked the flight attendant what my entrée was. She then picked up the partially eaten entrée and put it on my husband's tray table and then put his on mine saying she gave me his. Though we are husband and wife, this was very odd to both of us, especially since she didn't even apologize for the error. I responded by saying I had no idea and she is the one who placed it there. As for the rest of the flight, it was uneventful. The return flight was out of Manchester, UK. After having checked our bags, we went to the Aer Lingus lounge which was one of the best lounges we had ever been in. It was morning so there were every sort of breakfast food, breads and snacks imaginable. Various teas, coffees and self-service bars were available making it for an enjoyable pre-flight experience. Once we boarded the plane, we discovered we were 2 of 7 passengers who were seated in the business class cabin. For almost the entire flight we had three different flight attendants who offered us everything from champagne, beverages, meals, snacks and ice cream. As this was a daytime flight, lunch was offered as well as a small slider prior to landing. If anything was desired during the "quiet time" for the flight attendants, there were additional snacks and such in the galley. Once again, we encountered a clean and comfortable aircraft. While initially having a bad impression of the airline with respect to the voucher redemption, we were pleasantly surprised with the flights (aside from the meal mix up on the outbound flight). We won't hesitate to fly Aer Lingus in the future. We will remember though, not to take a voucher should the flight get cancelled, this, mainly due to the restrictions of redeeming them. read more

The only reason to fly Aer Lingus is if they offer you a direct flight to your location. For me, they are the only carrier to offer a direct flight from BDL to Dublin. The rest of it is absolutely terrible. -Cannot check in on the app, it never works. Can check in online, but cannot change seats or upgrade seats at all. If you want to preorder your meal, they charge you (please don't do it, the food is awful!) -If you don't print your boarding pass at home, the agent gives you a hard time about printing you one. (My home airport does not have kiosks) -They do not participate with TSA precheck, so even if you put it on your reservation you won't be able to use it. I actually asked the TSA agent about it, and he said all that Aer Lingus would need to do is fill out a form to register the airline with TSA, but they just haven't done it. They don't care about their passengers. (Global Entry is a separately run program and does work for US pre clearance in Dublin) -Planes are terrible. They are using old (very old!) Airbus planes for international flights. Planes are small, hot, dirty, and uncomfortable. They can not accommodate normal size carry on luggage. On both flights, my tray table was broken and would not close. I was disturbing the people in front of me, broke two nails, and ultimately had to have the flight attendant do it. I've never needed assistance closing a tray table before flying on Aer Lingus. The entertainment system is also crap, most headphone jacks do not work, and I was glad I had my iPad. -Care is not taken to stock or clean the planes. On my way to Dublin, none of the bathrooms had soap in them. Including the one I used before take off, which at that point should have been fully stocked. -The food is disgusting, they'd be better off giving you nuts and cookies than that slop. On my way to Dublin, I brought my own food, so didn't get a meal at all. On my way home I accepted the meal but was unable to eat most of it, as it looked and smelled like dog food. They had a chicken option which they ran out of before getting to me (I was only in row 22). -They are notorious for losing bags if you have a connecting flight, and for taking days or weeks to return them to you. You can read the stories on the other reviews and I've had three coworkers experience it on connecting flights to London. And since you can't bring a real sized carry on aboard, you are stuck checking your luggage if you're traveling for more than a day or two. Bottom line: only take Aer Lingus if you can get a direct flight at a good price, or if you can manage with a baby sized carry on. And even then, expect a terrible flight experience. read more

I'm giving Aer Lingus a 1 star rating for two main reasons: 1) losing our luggage on several trips (fortunately on the return leg so we didn't have to deal with being without our clothes and other packed items), and 2) a horrendous itinerary cancellation that we didn't find out about til 24 hrs before our flight when we went to check-in. That cancellation cost us over $4500 in rescheduling last-minute tickets on similar flights so that we could get to our destination as planned. The airline took no responsibility for this additional cost and wouldn't even give us credit toward future flights. Backstory: we booked our tickets directly through the Aer Lingus website in February 2024 for a multi-city round trip in May 2024. The prices were very good at that time, with reasonable layovers at Dublin. It was very late at night when we purchased the tickets, and didn't wait up to get the confirmation email. BAD MISTAKE!! We never did receive a confirmation email. But we had made note of all the flight numbers and seat numbers. Apparently within a few hours of our making the reservation, one leg of the flight (through American Airlines) had a problem and Aer Lingus supposedly sent us an email stating that we needed to contact them to reschedule. We never got that email either, and within 24 hrs of their supposed email, they cancelled the entire itinerary!! We were unaware of any of this until 24 hrs before our trip in May when we went to check-in and no itinerary was found corresponding to our names or email address. My husband called Aer Lingus while I feverishly looked online for similar tickets to get us where we needed to go. [Due to the last minute nature of this booking, the tickets FOR SOME OF THE EXACT SAME FLIGHTS was now about $4500 more!! But we needed to go, since we had reservations in Paris and our son's wedding a week later in Germany, so we bit the bullet and paid. This time we wrote down the itinerary number and all flight information.] Meanwhile, after being on hold a long time, my husband finally got through to someone at Aer Lingus and he explained the situation. She was able to see our previous reservation back in February and the notes about the American Airline issue and that they emailed us, but since they didn't hear from us they cancelled the reservation 24 hrs later. She confirmed the original price we would have paid, but said we actually had never paid for them so there was nothing they could do about it. My husband quickly checked our credit card statements and indeed we had never been billed. But he also checked his email records and we had never received an email confirmation or this other email about the ticket issue. We also never received a confirmation email with this fresh reservation, so she said she'd send that to us. It didn't come, so she tried again...nothing. We tried my email address--nope, and gave her a third email address. They never came!!! We pointed out to her, how were we supposed to know about the ticketing problem if we never received an email, and apparently couldn't now either? Why didn't anyone try to call, since they had our phone number! She apologized and said there was nothing she could do. I'm sorry, it's been over 7 months since this happened, and it's still a raw nerve. My husband is now deferring his retirement to be able to recoup the cost of these last minute tickets. We will not be flying Aer Lingus again. While the actual flying part of it was fine, this expensive clerical issue was the last straw. read more

Reasonable flights from SFO to DUB on a nice A-330 with edible (barely) food and slow service -- it took forever to get a drink and the meal. But the real problem to me is with their software: both the website and their mobile app stink. Basically functionality (e.g., changing a seat after initially picking one) is not available. When you're logged into the website and/or the app you still have to enter a record locator and family name to find your trip -- but you're already logged in. It should know. The mobile app relies on the website for functionality (e.g., login) which works poorly. I was unable to get a mobile boarding pass -- the app/site threw an error saying PNR not on flight which was particularly discomforting as I arrived at the airport. Worst of all -- THEY DON'T OFFER TSA PRE-CHECK which I learned when I tried to use the pre-check line. Only airline I've traveled on in years that doesn't offer it. read more

My wife and I flew out of San Diego Airport on Feb 16th on Aer Lingus. Final destination was Edinburgh, but we had a layover in Dublin. There was a flight attendant named Tom on our flight. Very friendly and gave us a little bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon!! I highly recommend this airline. Great customer service and very personable flight attendants. Thank you for giving us exceptional service!! read more

This airline has cost me so much money and aggravation on the way back from a lovely trip to Prague, Vienna & Budapest. Then on my stopover in Dublin they miscommunicated with me and would not let me board the flight although I was there 45 minutes before it even left!!! They cahrged me for a flight on another day, cost me a hotel fee and a transportation fee since there were no flights the next few days to Boston that were free and I had to fly to Hartford CT!! This airline is AWFUL!!!! read more
