Tried them for the first time because I keep hearing so much! We went for lunch, it was pretty good, but not what I expected for the praise. Maybe the dinner items are more inticing but as far as atmosphere goes it was cozy and cute. The Mac and cheese was the best part, it even had some spice. It was Cavatappi pasta, four cheese blend, siracha, and toasted panko on it. Short rib tacos were also pretty good, had to take a little off of the cream and goat cheese to be able to taste the rest of it. I had high hopes for the steak bomb, but it had mushrooms which I had asked for none and then once waiting again for it to be made, it wasn't worth the hype and wait

Randomly found this place when needing a spot for a large family dinner on a Tuesday. Glad we made a reservation since it was busy. Since it was a Tuesday we got a bunch off the Taco Tuesday menu. Everything we got was excellent. One HUGE negative for me was that we ordered a kids pizza for my 3 year old son. They brought everyone else's food out, and almost seemed to have forgotten about his meal. They brought it out a few minutes later, steaming hot. We let it cool for a few minutes but it was almost 7:30 by that time and he ended up burning his mouth and sobbed. I know we probably should have forced him to wait longer, but it was poor timing by the staff, his should have come out ten minutes before ours, not after. That being said I'd still come back.

I have to say I so so much enjoyed this restaurant the food and service is the best of the best. We ordered the cast iron meat ball for an appetizer it was super moist it also comes with very good garlic flatbread. I had the Braised Short Rib done too perfection came with delicious carrots that were roasted the gravy was extremely tasty so happy I ordered it. My guest had the blue crab ravioli to kick it up a notch they put breadcrumbs that were crunchy and it made the dish .My guess thought it was a little too sweet, but I really enjoyed the flavor of this dish I couldn't stop eating it . The bartender Scott was very welcoming he made me a delicious PUMPKIN martini boy he can really make a martini The bar is warm and inviting. The atmosphere is rustic and very clean. If you haven't tried this restaurant you need to put it on your list you won't be disappointed.

They have a smallish parking lot, and I'm not 100% sure whether I could park by the apartment.... But there were no signs and it was right by the side door.... This will haunt me as an internal debate for at least a year. Echo Craft does take reservations, and and have high tops and regular tables available. The air is very focused though - if you're seated on a high top by the air vent, you may be chilly. They also have a fixed meal for "Wine Down Wednesday", but the menu changed from what was online to what was offered. They atill had the regular menu though, so all was well. The food was really good! Loved the broth in the mussle appetizer, and the cheeseburger salad is literally a cheeseburger on a salad. My cheeseburger and fries were enjoyable; I liked the slightly larger cut on my fries. Our waiter was very nice, but faster to check on how we were eating then to come back with things like drinks. Bathrooms are okay, I believe three stalls in the woman's room. Large back room with tables perhaps for really busy nights!

During Watertown Restaurant Week, I had the pleasure of checking out Echo Craft Kitchen for the first time ever, and the food did not disappoint! For Restaurant Week, Echo offered a prix fix menu with two options for appetizers, 4 options for entrees, and 3 options for desserts. To start, I ordered the "Now Bring Us Some Fig" to drink. It was such a fun spin on a Bee's Knees with fig liqueur. It was so smooth and delicious! For an appetizer, I got the Whipped Ricotta. I have a huge ricotta cheese fan, and the addition of honey and pistachios was so tasty. I would have never thought to pair ricotta and pistachio, but I am definitely going to try to recreate this dish at home. Next up, I ordered the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. The sauce was super flavorful and savory. It was a great, cozy, fall dish and the perfect amount of food. I hope this becomes a regular menu item. Lastly, I initially ordered the Creme Brule Cheesecake, but the restaurant unfortunately ran out. However, the staff was super accommodating and allowed me to select a dessert off of their regular menu. I wound up selecting the Chocolate Ganache. The hostess told me that it was made in-house, and it was so yummy! The dessert even came with chocolate gelato, a mixed berry compote, and a little wafer with cannoli dip on the side. I wound up taking dessert home because I was stuffed. I'm so glad I decided to check them out this week.

After a cold, rainy morning at a funeral, my family and I decided to warm up with lunch at Echo Craft Kitchen. I've been curious to check them out, and I was impressed when I walked in at the ambiance here - the size of the space from the outside is definitely deceiving! Our server was super friendly and quick with a joke, making sure we felt welcome. Everyone was happy with their cocktails, and our apps and drinks were delicious. The one downside of the meal was that we waited around 20 minutes on a slice of cake for dessert, and it ended up being pretty dry. Otherwise, everything was great and I would definitely come back!

Jeanine is awesome! A bright and friendly bartender always on her game. Chop chop salad is a go to for me. Presentation is well done and tastes great too.

In search of a new takeout option I decided to give Echo a try, saw them on DoorDash. I didn't have a high expectations as I know takeout generally isn't as good as dining in. When I opened the bag the first thing I saw was what I thought to be a personal cheese pizza, I thought I had the wrong order. Then I realized it was cheesy garlic bread to go with the meatball appetizer. Well let me tell you... this American restaurant is putting out better meatballs than any Italian spot around, and I'm picky when it comes to meatballs! But with that cheesy garlic bread, wow! They were large beef, veal and pork meatballs, well seasoned and covered in cheese. The texture was perfect, light and served in a fresh marinara, paired perfectly with the garlic bread, could easily be a dinner for me alone. I also had a house salad with crispy chicken. I appreciate it that they put the chicken on the side to keep the salad fresh. The tangy vinaigrette was great, I'd compare it to a mustard vinaigrette. The crispy chicken was chicken tenders for the salad which usually I prefer a breaded chicken cutlet but this was still really good, I enjoyed it. Great portion sizes, great food, got here fast and was hot. Definitely will dine in soon!

Got to love a neighborhood restaurant that exceeds expectations. A last minute "let's get together" turned into closing the place down. One doesn't want good times, with good people and food to end. Dinner was perfect! If only we left room for dessert... or maybe just another reason to get together there again!

Echo Craft Kitchen was the perfect location to gather for a bridal shower. The house salad and pizzas were delicious. The staff was constantly bringing out fresh, hot pizzas until us guests were content! I particularly enjoyed the eggplant on my pizza. Parking was a bit tough, but I'm not very familiar with the area. A nice touch to the vintage decor was the modified arm handles and foot handles to open all of their doors!! More restaurants should take them into consideration.

Everything was very clean. Parking was a bit of a struggle - there was street parking above, below, and across, and a huge lot in the back. Supposedly there's a backdoor from the lower lot - those who tried found it to be locked. The food was delicious - my local burger was cooked medium, and the fries were little circles! They were well cooked but some had much more salt then others

The menu looked pretty good so we started with some apps. Beer cheese- definitely a different twist than I expected but it was great. Very flavorful, really beer forward. The bruschetta was ridiculously amazing!! The cucumber salsa was missing something but ok, needed some acid or heat. My disappointment started when they brought out our meal, (we still had two apps to go, I hate my meal coming out with or before the rest of our apps. I had the hot honey chicken and NE Clam chowder. The chowder was brown and was not what I was looking for, I packaged up to go. It was primarily the brown I assume the roux went farther than it should have or there is something else in it.. The hot honey chicken was ok, the chicken was paper thin , tasted mostly arugula no heat, no sweet... I'd switch out the bread for a roll next time and douse it with hot sauce. The cottage fries are out of this world and I would come back for beverages and those!! My partner had the biria sandwich which was fire, also had a salad which was really good as well. The cookies are really amazing! Actual Dessert- I am struggling with we opted for the Chocolate cake which was literally melting- did not think it was ice cream so not sure why we had a puddle in a box when we got home. I want to try other things, as we had some good and some not so good, so we'll be back and update again after another try.

I would not be able to recommend this restaurant after our one and only experience dining there…read morelast night. My husband and I are in the area for a weekend getaway and wanted to find a nice place for a date night. We chose Vyne after looking at their menu, which appeared elevated and unique. Pros and Cons below but the spark notes are: Nice atmosphere, good service, bad (and expensive) food. Pros: *The atmosphere is nice. Slightly elevated, beautiful decor, very nice bar area, and the outdoor area is a vibe. *Service was good. Our waitress was kind, efficient and helpful. *Our cocktails were great. Delicious, not wildly overpriced, and fresh. Cons and the reason why I could not recommend going to this restaurant: Overall the food was wildly disappointing, especially at this price point. We paid (with tip and 2 cocktails each) $250 for food we couldn't finish it was so poorly cooked and prepared. * Surf & Turf appetizer (24) - interesting and fresh spring flavor but the shrimp (a main component of the dish) was overcooked. * Scallop entree($44)- Scallops were not cooked well. They were very rubbery, chewy and bouncy. I left two on the plate. The flavor profile was also heavily oil. * Side of Mac&Cheese - now, I have NEVER not finished mac&cheese, it's my absolute favorite food and a treat for me to order. This mac&cheese was so bad that we had 2 bites and didn't finish. For a $9.50 side I would expect something interesting. Maybe a baked dish? Or three cheeses? Anything than what we got - which was shell pasta (undercooked) and a cheese sauce (similar to a Velveeta). There was also a strange aftertaste, almost like a spoiled milk. Besides that aftertaste there was absolutely no flavor. * The Filet Mignon ($52) - maybe the most disappointing of all our dishes with a theme of badly cooked and no flavor. Asked for it cooked medium rare and closer to the rare side - it came to us as a solid medium. The steak didn't seem to be seasoned at all. No flavor. The potatoes had no crisp and absolutely no flavor. There was a generic BBQ sauce on the plate. With no salt and pepper on the table (on purpose with the expectation that everything would be flavored perfectly) it made absolutely no sense to finish a dish that we could make better at home. A truly disappointing meal that we couldn't finish, paid $$$$ for and had to stop at fast food on the way home from because we were still so hungry. I don't review often but I needed to because this is an expensive restaurant for what it is, and I want to make sure people know what they're getting into. Maybe we just went on a bad night, but we won't be going back to find out.
