First time there, the Staff was very attentive, observant and responsive to the needs of customers, showing a high level of care and consideration towards customers. The food is really good, but the prices are high and the service is slow. I wrote the following message directly to the restaurant: December 19th was my first time visiting Echo Craft Kitchen. My friends and I were there for trivia. We usually arrive early so that we can be served before the chaos of trivia begins. We arrived at 6:00 and the trivia area was unavailable at that time due to a party. Fine. We sat in the main dining room and ordered our meals. Among us, we ordered four burgers. One had a regular side salad, one had ordinary french fries, one had sweet potato fries, one had a caesar salad. The burgers were $18 or $19, already quite a high price for a burger, and the menu said they came with house fries or a side salad. Nowhere on the menu was there mention of upcharges for substitutions, nor did the wait staff mention it when orders were taken. Yet all four checks showed a $4.00 charge. Waitstaff told us it was for the salads and fries. Even if there is an upcharge for the sweet potato fries and caesar salad, $4.00 is excessive (most places will charge $1.50 or $2.00 to substitute fries). On top of that, even the burgers with house fries and a side salad were charged the additional $4.00. And even though we all got separate checks, there was a 20% tip added to each of our bills. When I disputed the bills, staff was unhelpful. Once we got to trivia, an employee of DJ Trivia talked to someone who refunded us a total of $10. Despite being unhappy with the service on our first visit, we decided to give it another chance. On December 26th, we arrived for trivia at 6:30. Nobody came to take our orders until 7:20. Our meals arrived after 8:00 (Note that trivia is usually over by 8:30). One of our team members ordered a second glass of wine that never came. Another ordered a hot chocolate that never came. One ordered coffee to go with her dessert and it was not hot and she was never offered a refill. Trivia was long over before we got our checks. Our waiter, Scott, was very polite and apologetic, but we were still overall unimpressed with the service at your restaurant, especially given your high prices. By the way, it is our understanding that there is supposed to be a special, reduced prices menu for trivia. We haven't seen it yet. I understand that it takes some time for the business to assess and prepare for the needs of a new event like weekly trivia, so I plan to give Echo another try. Hopefully, the third time is the charm. Otherwise, I will be eating dinner at home before trivia, and you may be lucky enough to sell me a beverage while I'm there. read more

I have to say that this restaurant cares about its customer. We had a small error on a recent Door Dash order and the Hostess personally delivered the item along with a $15 dollar gift card! After spending a Saturday afternoon at the winery, I came here for dinner with my sister and friends. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes, so we decided to order a cocktail at the bar. After getting our cocktails, we decided to sit in the front and wait, which ended up being 1.5 hours total - apparently an emergency had taken place. During this time, one of my friends had accidentally knocked over her freshly ordered cocktail, which the staff simply gave her napkins to clean herself and didn't offer her another one. As we finally walked over to our table, we all noticed how many empty tables were available, which only made us question why we had to wait as long as we did. Thankfully, we had the best waitress, Jennifer, take care of us and helped turn our experience around - she was personable, hilarious, and even gave my friend a complimentary cocktail. For food, I ordered the Falafel Burger with Sweet Potato Fries - I devoured the whole thing, it was SO good. I can't remember what my friends got, but my sister ordered the Caesar Salad with Chicken and killed it. Despite our dissatisfaction for the waiting period, Jennifer made our night better, and the food was great. I would definitely dine at Echo Craft Kitchen again. read more

My wife and I finally got to try this place. We had a difficult time deciding what to order. Everything looked so good. We finally went with pizzas. She got the bar pie and I the Notorious PIG. Both were delicious. Unfortunately there was only 1 waitress but she really hustled. And this was on St Pattys day. We will definitely be back. read more

We made a reservation here after hearing about it through our Airbnb host who is local to the area. The restaurant did not disappoint. I got shrimp and grits and my boyfriend got the tavern chicken. Both were really good. Great wine selection and good sized apps for 2 people. Would go back again if we lived in the area. 10/10 recommend. read more

As we check in, and we made reservations, we were told we have another reservation at 8:00. Really!! You don't say that type if thing to your customers. Three of us had the fettuccine, seafood fried Diablo, and one person had the salmon. It was very good I must say. But why did we have to ask for cheese and bread? I wish I could give them 6 stars. For not being open that long, they are doing very well. The tap list and drink menus are awesome. The menu is authentic but unique. A lot of restaurants serve Nachos, but I will say these were delicious. And fresh. The pizzas are personal sized which I thought was great because you can get one as your own meal or share multiple kinds. The sweet heat was awesome. Pepperoni curled and crispy is top notch. The rosemary mashed was so good and better than other potato pizzas I've had. The burgers were cooked perfectly to order and had generous toppings. And the fries are good too. I enjoyed Echo so much that we went to dinner one night and then back for drinks and a pizza the next night. This will be my new go-to for drinks with friends or a bite to eat. Opening weekend... fantastic. This is the fun place to be. The bar area has lots of seats at the bar as well as many high top tables. It is a welcoming and lively place. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped in for a few drinks and appetizers, we sat at the bar. We sampled a couple of items. The calamari was the best we ever had. Hot cherry peppers and artichokes too. Cooked perfectly. An indication that the rest of the menu is great. And the brussel sprouts were yummy, crispy outside and creamy inside. ***** The opening menu is comprehensive, something for everyone. Can't wait to go back for dinner!! Great ambience. Food was very well done and not your average pub fare. Staff was friendly and attentive. Well worth the visit.

First time here since they renovated the space although family members have put this on their favorites list! The bar area is a cozy spot with meals served here in addition to superbly made cocktails. Wine is list is well chosen with more than reasonable prices also. Service was personable and friendly as well as professional. We were a party of 10 celebrating a special occasion and everyone was very happy with their food and drink choices. Some of our favorites were the crab cake special and empanadas. They still serve the fabulous pizza I remember fondly also. Salads were well crafted and very generous portions. Entrees included the short-ribs, chicken sandwich with very tasty sweet potato fries , lemon creme pasta, mac and cheese and scallops. Can't wait for my next visit to Ct so I can revisit. read more

This is in response to an unsatisfied trivia player (who I really don't think is from California). We came from another restaurant that had closed down and we needed another place to go. Echo Craft, I don't believe, had ever done any type of trivia event weekly. Yes, we were told there would be a special "trivia menu" which hasn't materialized yet. If they think back to when we first started at our previous venue, it wasn't all hunky dory for quite some time. I feel they are doing their best. Even this week was an improvement over last week, which in turn was an improvement over the week before. The servers are excellent. The food and drinks are excellent. The prices are higher than the golf club we were at, but look where that got us! I say if you aren't pleased with the way things are going, maybe try another trivia venue. They'll fill the place anyway! read more

The good menu is always evolving which is great. The service is pretty good there's never been a time when I felt like we were waiting for anything. The ambiance is the best part! It is dimly lit in then at area with tons of barn wood and shiplap. It's a very modern rustic appeal. read more

A great meeting place for family and friends. They even have a large room. in the back that seats 50 people. We stopped by on Wednesday and were. delighted to find great food, service and ambiance. The menu was excellent, and the food was delicious. We will make this a regular stop in the future. We are going back on Friday to have a couple of drinks and some dinner. If you are picking up an order or if you are a DoorDash driver/ customer, I would highly recommend on getting your order 45 minutes late. They always say 1 minute and it turned into 20-30 minute wait after pick up time total time waiting can be up to a hr from getting there letting them know the order your picking up to when you get the food in your hands. I would never ever recommend this place for delivery service until management can get their staff up to date and working properly. The only thing positive I would recommend is sitting down and eating there but at that the staff is still overly slow. Please improve this management, Watertown is a small town and this news gets around VERY quickly read more

Had a wonderful meal at Echo Craft Kitchen. We started off with popcorn cauliflower - never had it before, but it's scrumptious. Then had the Lemon crème shrimp & pappardelle in a buttery lemon garlic sauce. Mouth watering! Service was excellent, atmosphere was delighting. Was so grateful to the friends who took me there.
