This is a screenshot of your yelp profile at this current moment, which says that you're open until 9pm. But you're not. I know that because we just drove 5 miles out of our way, and when we arrived, we discovered that you are "closed for the season". This might seem like a trivial gripe, but it's not. It's the entire point of the Yelp platform. It runs on trust, and when that trust is violated, it not only reflects poorly on your business, but it wastes people's time and degrades the value of this service. If you don't want to maintain your Yelp profile, that's totally fine. Just take it down. You don't deserve to attract the business (or potential business) of people who are traveling through your town if you can't manage to log into your profile and change the hours when necessary. I've done it. It's easy and it takes two minutes. Unless you forget your password. Then it takes 3. If you read this review and think to yourself, wow, I would never want that person as a customer at my business anyway, then you should also take your restaurant off Yelp, because I am just like everyone else who uses it. There are plenty of places for us to go. Do us a favor and take yourself off the list of options!

The view of the lake is amazing!! You could choose to sit inside or outside. Their menu includes catfish, crab cakes, chicken, sandwiches, hush puppies, fries, green bean fries, etc. The waitress was friendly and nice. But the food was so-so. Lots of items were fried for too long. And you're mainly paying for the view, not the food. A dinner for 3 with a couple of drinks came out to $75 with tips.

For our entrée, we shared the pork shoulder, and it was absolutely delicious. The fennel aioli was such a great touch, and the combination of pork, peas, and greens made for the perfect Southern bite. We enjoyed it so much I wish we could go back tonight! We took a slice of lemon chess pie to go, and it was every bit as delicious as the rest of the meal. Kyle was our server and was fantastic--very knowledgeable and helpful with our selections. The restaurant was busy with a fun, lively atmosphere, but not so loud that we couldn't easily talk and enjoy our dinner. Definitely one of our favorite meals in Paducah!

We showed up right at opening, five o'clock, and there was already a long line of people waiting to get in. Make a reservation. I'm glad we did. We had a party of four and was seated at a low top that had a view of the kitchen. Lively open space with an open kitchen you can see both the cook line and the prep area. The cornbread was the unexpected standout of the entire meal. Mildly sweet, savory, light and fluffy all the way through. I was not expecting a side dish to steal the show, but it did. We also ordered the double stuffed burrata, and the bread it came with deserves its own mention. Crisp, lightly toasted, with just a touch of char. It paired beautifully with the creamy burrata and the accompaniments on the plate. For my entree I went with the grilled Caesar salad and added shrimp. It ended up being the perfect call. The portion was generous, the shrimp addition made it feel like a real meal. The romaine had this excellent crisp char on it that added so much. The dressing was heavenly. One of the best Caesar dressings I have had in a while. My favorite parts of the night had nothing to do with what was on my plate. We got to watch chef Sara Bradley working the kitchen with her team during service, and it was clear why this place has the reputation it does. I'd love to come back and try the prix fixe tasting menu next time. Overall this was a great experience from start to finish. And a must stop or destination when driving through KY.

We hadn't eaten out for a while so we seen this place and thought it looked cute so we walked over from Pilot (across the street) and sat down to order our food. I had to repeat my order 4 times and the "waitress" still wasn't getting it. Simple order "ribeye and shrimp dinner" comes with 2 sides but don't order the onion rings because even though it's on the "sides menu" they charged me $2 extra for the small helping that I received. She looked and asked if we wanted to split the dinner and I said "no want 2 of the ribeye dinners with the 2 sides" she looked puzzled and said "ooohhhh so you want the shrimp basket and a ribeye? I repeated what I wanted 3 more times and each time she looked like a lost deer in the headlights. I showed her the picture on the menu (thank God for pictures because like a two year-old she would not have understood what I wanted without the pictures) the food had ZERO FLAVOUR...after we doused it with salt and pepper it was tolerable at best. The meal was $22 a plate but not worth half what they were charging. Now let's get to the second half of this review The Service As I stated earlier in this review, this girl was not quite all there, she brought me the bill 1/2 way through us eating the meal, said "you can take care of this anytime" but proceeded to come back multiple times like she was waiting for us to pay. When I was looking over the bill, I noticed the two dollar charge for the onion rings and when I asked her about it, she looked at me once again with those deer in the headlight look in her eyes shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know maybe it was a specialty side" and I said no it was on the sides item list. She looked at me like she could care less so I asked her if there was somebody here that would know why they were charging two dollars extra for onion rings. She said no all the managers have gone home for the night so there was nobody there that could answer the question. We paid our bill and left very dissatisfied and now my stomach is kind of upset so I'll probably throw the leftovers away because now I'm not sure if it's going to be safe to eat. The quality of the food is nowhere near what it should be The ribeye steak is like that of which you would buy at Walmart in the box of 5 ribeyes out of the freezer for $15.88 The shrimp is the frozen box of SeaPak shrimp, again that you find at Walmart for $9.87 As my wife and I were walking out the door she overheard them talking crap about us wanting to speak to the manager like they want to keep the manager around all night long to make sure customers are taken care of. Mind you it was not even 5:00 pm yet. And the only reason that I wanted to speak with a manager was the question about the onion rings. Rude unprofessional uninformed staff, probably cracked out, meth heads that couldn't stop twitching for their next fix. The cook kept sliding his jaw like meth heads do when they are high. I almost forgot to mention that the ribeye steak tasted fishy so I'm not sure what that was all about.

The ambiance is "Cracker Barrel meets old dusty floral decor," which in my humble opinion is a very "cluttered and clausterphobic" atmosphere, but it is still worth going to visit. Food was good, but not enough for the cost. My bill for one was $68 for one alcoholic beverage, a soda, the app for the table, a sandwich and chips, and a piece of pie. Kitschy as hell, which I enjoy. Lots of shops to wander while you wait. Looks like Alice in Wonderland threw up. The staff is the best part. Our server, Jordan, was personable and funny and didn't let any extra costs go by without notifying us. I appreciate that. Everyone was great, and willingly wearing uniforms that seemed uncomfortable at best. But it's part of the theme. Standouts: flower pot bread and strawberry butter, moonshine tastings, and sawdust pie. Go once just to experience it if you're nearby.
