This establishment deserves literally ZERO stars. The little ass girl at the front desk is extremely rude, I drove an hour to get my food just for half of the order to be missing. On the phone the woman tried to claim that I lied about the items missing, only after I stated that I had a video of the bag unopened did she tell me that she would put the missing items in the bag upon arrival. Had to drive all the way back and the woman immediately had an attitude when I expressed that I would like the entire thing remade because by then the food was already cold. I love this place. The twins that used/are working there are nice and can't tell the difference at all . So good service and they waiters are soo nice. Tonight was our first opportunity to eat at Jumbo Crab in Clarksville. When we arrived we had checked reviews on Yelp and were somewhat Leary as to eating there. After eating at Jumbo Crab I don't see us going to another seafood establishment in the area for boiled seafood. Dangerous to people with food allergies. Avoid like the plague! Is the food good? Sure. Will they avoid allergens in your food as requested? Absolutely not. You can be highly specific and polite, and they'll still garnish your food with allergens. In my case, it's lemon. Two days in a row, three orders total. I've had to throw away over $50 worth of food as soon as I got it. At this point, I truly believe they're doing it on purpose. I've left Los Hermanos for this very same reason. My wife and I are at Jumbo Crab shortly after they opened. We loved the food, but the customer service was less to be desired. We afterwards ate at Storming Crab and actually felt the food was not as good, but the customer service was soooooo much better. Tonight we decided to give Jumbo Crab another try since it has been many months since our last visit. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were new and slammed. The food was so good so we felt like maybe enough time had gone by for the management to get the service better. I'm sad to say it was worst this time around. With virtually no one in the restaurant - you could really tell that business is no longer booming. We got sat in a booth right next to two waitresses lounging and it just felt weird. Why are these waitresses sitting and just hanging out in the restaurant. Now if they are going to do that - why sit us right next to them? Anything we talked about would easily be overheard by them in this giant, quiet, and empty restaurant. So after about two minutes one of the girls in the booth next to us got up and asked for our drink orders. I thought, "Ok maybe she was on a break or something." Nope - she awkwardly hung out in the booth next to ours talking to her coworker about topics that shouldn't be overheard from customers. After we received our food we pretty much were ignored. The worst thing was she was 3 feet from us! We were literally her only customers and I had to call her name on three different occasions to ask for help. Also, she had an wireless earbud in her ear so I had to repeat her name several times - louder each time - just to get her attention. Now a lot of this is focused on our waitress, but I don't totally blame her - she clearly has not been trained properly and is not being managed at all. I mean clearly because what kind of manager would allow this behavior? She is just a teen or young adult that needs direction and training. The food wasn't as good as our first experience either. They only put in one corn in the bag and one potato, that was disappointing. The flavor was light, over all so so experience. I had the Clam Chowder and again was a very small portion and was relatively cold. Service was poor. There was a young gentleman i think he was a manager or possible owners son. He was rude and as we were walking out he rudely walked in front of my wife and I, and bumped into me. He didn't seem to care about it, as if he was too good. I honestly won't be back anytime soon. We had intended on waiting a few weeks after it opened but hubby and I decided to treat 2 of the kiddos (now young adults) in between college classes this past Friday for. From the moment we walked in and was greeted by the young man at the desk, the service was really great. We had Louis for our waiter and he was fantastic. We were split on how we felt about the onion rings...the batter was ok but tasted more like it was made from frozen and not fresh. Hush puppies tasted fine. Orders were fried catfish basket, fried shrimp basket, clam chowder and 1 lb crab legs in juicy flavors (a mix of the Cajun, garlic and butter) and mild seasoning. Husband really enjoyed his catfish and his side of Cajun fries was decent too. Daughters only complaint of her fried shrimp was that the breading wouldn't stay on the shrimp. Her side of Onion rings had to be fresh; The onions weren't cut evenly and some had more batter than others which made for uneven cooking. Some were tough and others were chewy so she was a little frustrated about that. My crab legs were really good. At 23.00 for 1lb, I can't say they were Louisiana fresh (I was so spoiled living there) but they WERE good. That juicy sauce was yummy! Came with 2 potatoes and 1 small corn on cob - both so good after being in that sauce. Drinks were 2.75 with free refills; the baskets I believe were about 8-9 dollars. Decent food (especially for just opening), a little stingy on the sides but they did advertise exactly what you get for the prices, and service was just wonderful. At 78 dollars for the 4 of us, this will be a special occasion kind of place but I have to say I enjoyed myself and look forward to going again soon. read more

The sauce here is EXTREMELY more runny and basically just liquid compared to the other Cajun seafood competitor in town. Snow crab legs were still cold. Between the 10 of us that went we ordered a wide variety of things and I'll honestly say that the calamari was excellent and my favorite thing. Here in MN it's always over cooked like a pencil eraser and has no flavor their breading was great and I'd never eaten the stuff where it wasn't tough or chewy.
