They arrived cold and both meals were also unappetizing. It was the worst meal I've ever had at a restaurant. They provided a place to plug in my computer while I are too. Atmosphere was relaxed with jazz music playing lightly in background. A relaxing way to have lunch and spend a few hours waiting for my flight. I'll definitely come back if I'm in Terminal F in the future. All the other food options were fast food except one other. Insane prices for mediocre, tepid food with even worse service. Literally heard the hostesssigh and say "whatever, I don't care" and walk away as a non-English speaking couple tried to enter the restaurant. Once we were sat, it took a solid 10 mins for anyone to acknowledge us. We asked for soda water and were told buying a bottle was cheaper than getting it from the fountain (why?) . Fries were soggy, salad had wilted pieces, prices were sky high with an 18 percent gratuity tacked on the bill for two. Ecco is located inside the Atlanta International Airport Terminal F Wing. Out of all the many different change restaurants that the airport has to offer this was a lovely find. While waiting for our connecting international flight to Greece we picked Ecco due to the menu having a selection of items that were food allergies friendly. We were seated in the bar area at a small table. If traveling with luggage the space can be cramped which doesn't allow for other diners to sit next to you. Our service was friendly and helpful. She was able to tell me right away how things were made without checking with the kitchen and was able to edit my dish as well. My dad got a sandwich with house chips and I decided to be different and get the fish. Not realizing that it was going to be the WHOLE fish and head. What a way to start my Mediterranean trip but with a fish watching me while I eat. Lol. Flavor wise was on point! Honestly it was delicious I was thoroughly surprised for an airport restaurant. The fish was flaky and tender, baby potatoes, asparagus with a lemon caper sauce. Honestly all the flavors tied together wonderfully and kept me full over most of my flight. All the wait staff I noticed were pleasant and helpful. The bartender was speaking to a couple and a solo traveler about how he loves to cook. Hidden gem offering a peaceful oasis in the midst of an overstimulating airport. I loved the food options with upper scale fresh twist, good drink menu, great music, and soft lifting. Caveat emptor ,,, although a lovely setting and nice food please check your bill. We were seated and had a little wait for our service. Ordered a flat bread, shrimp and asparagus. Drinks took awhile but food came promptly. Unfortunately the ONE piece of bread with the shrimp was very burned (not grilled or charred) - see photo. The flatbread was excellent. The asparagus ok but a lot of sauce and not a lot of asparagus. The server never came back to check on us or follow up - someone else dropped our food. Finally we flagged them down for a second drink. So the real issue was that they charge a SERVICE FEE as part of your bill and then recommend another 22% tip. Just make sure to read your check and determine if you want to tip 40%. I think it's a pretty dirty tactic for travelers who may not see all the details while dining on the run $$$ read more

However I will say that the service was attentive. The server made a point to ask how long before my flight to make sure he could get me in and out as I needed. I ordered the chicken panini which was decent. The menu says it's $3 for fries but they actually charge you over $5. The fries werent worth the $5 up charge.... Place was not too loud with the College football on TV. No choice at this point. We ordered the Pick 3 Cured Mears & cheese. So on our return trip from Cabo, with a 3-hour layover, we decided to give Ecco a shot for dinner. The food was, thankfully, a noticeable upgrade. Most of our dishes ranged from good to great, with only a few misses--so from a culinary standpoint, Ecco stands out as a better choice in Terminal F. But here's where it fell apart: the service and professionalism were shockingly bad. What stood out wasn't our food, but the chaos I observed between the wait staff and kitchen. The vibe felt more like a group of friends hanging out at someone's house than a restaurant--loud banter, joking around, and complete disregard for the guests seated just a few feet away. Even worse, what appeared to be the manager or expediter (who was dressing the plates) repeatedly scratched her head, picked at her face, and then used her bare fingers to season dishes with salt and pepper. I lost count at how many times she touched her face or hair before plating. It was truly unappetizing and incredibly unprofessional. Our server, Omar, was fast and efficient but had a tone and body language that suggested he was annoyed by any request--until it came time to drop the check. At $300 for dinner, this should have been a far more elevated experience. Ecco has potential with its menu and food quality, but the leadership needs to step in immediately to train on professionalism, hygiene, and hospitality. My friend and I came here to eat on our 4 hr lay over at ATL. Ecco is on the second floor of Concourse F, near The Club ATL and Delta Sky Lounge. We got here at a good time, because there was not many people and the host was right outside. Service was a bit slow but our waitress Jennifer (I think) was very sweet, fast, and funny! We got the prosciutto flat bread and Pappardelle like she recommend and they were PHENOMENAL!!! I think there was only 1 chef in the kitchen who managed all the hot food, and 1 sous chef. Kudos to the main chef, he himself managed all the food orders...must be so crazy. He was not only in charge of the restaurant food order but also the express togo line order. Somebody gives him some help! Overall our experience was great, definitely a SMART idea to eat here first before checking into the lounges. For airport food quality, Ecco was so great! The flatbread was huge and so yummy, thin, crisp, also chewy, and definitely full of flavors. And the pappardelle? WOW, it was actually one of the best I've ever had, even better than some nice Italian places in Newport Beach!! We were so happy with the Pappardelle, the raised pulled pork was just out of this world and they must've cooked it for hours and hours... the flavor was so full and rich and the pappardelle pasta was just right, chewy and al dente. I'm still dreaming of that pappardelle.. I would eat it over and over again! So good!!!!! read more

Oh man, where do we start? Airport dining can always be hit or miss. The menu at Ecco looked convincing, so we decided to give it a try. We were seated right away, which was nice, but the table looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly--there were food stains, dirty menus, and silverware just sitting on the unclean table. We ordered the salmon and the shrimp pasta. You would laugh at how little pasta we were served--it was so small we could literally count the noodles. The pasta itself was hard and chewy, and the shrimp wasn't any better--also chewy. The salmon dish, on the other hand, came with cauliflower drenched in a rather sour-tasting sauce--an odd pairing, to say the least. Our waitress had given us complimentary bread before our meals came. Someone in my party had an egg allergy so we wanted to know what was in the bread. She was positive there were no eggs in the bread. But the person I was dining with started to get a mild allergic reaction. We had to ask another sever about the ingredients and they brought over the physical package. The waitress who was so positive the bread was fine tried to gaslight us by saying the bread was for me after she realized her mistake. She tried to make up for it by offering complimentary gelato--which, ironically, also contained eggs and a small discount on our meal. But with that automatic gratuity and fees it was still a rather expensive and disappointing meal. read more

When at the Atlanta airport, there are just a couple of really good places for a sit down meal (One Flew South being the other one). Ecco was recommended by a friend so I decided to check it out for myself on a recent layover. Here's my take on the experience: Quality of food: Good. I tried their fried goat cheese balls which were just out of this world! They were served with honey and were perfectly hot and crispy and just full of goat cheesy flavor. If you love goat cheese then you must try this appetizer. For entrée, I had the Bucatini pasta. The pasta was good but a little too salty for my taste. Décor: fancy. The bar area is nice and all the servers were dressed professionally. Cleanliness: good. The tables looked clean. Service: good. All the servers were very professional and the place felt like an upper end restaurant. Price: typical for an airport. My appetizer of 6 goat cheese balls was $10 and the pasta was around $20. If you're in the mood for a nice sit-down Italian meal then checkout Ecco. It's a bit of a pain to get to but if you have a 2hr+ layover then this is certainly doable. read more

This restaurant is in Terminal F in the Atlanta airport. It's worth the time to take the tram to F to get to it, go up to the mezzanine once there. Service is fast and very friendly. Atmosphere is a cozy nice restaurant. We had the 3 meat/cheese plate. Served on a board with prosciutto, Cana de Cabra and fontina. First bread was dry, we asked for other, it was warm & delicious. A great charcuterie overall. Next was the spiced chicken panini. A very mildly spiced chicken panini, it did have a bit of a kick from pepper. Cheese on it was very mild and not discernible. Caramelized onions added to it but I would have liked more. Great wine selection, nice beer selection. One caveat- 18% service charge , that's a tip! read more

The "greeter" at the door did not greet us or say hello. We asked to sit at the bar where we clearly saw several open seats. Typically, one would just walk to the bar and sit. She refused to let us in stating a 15 minute wait. When we questioned, why would it take 15 minutes to move a napkin and a glass, she told us to go to a different restaurant. ($24) the panini was the smallest I've ever had with maybe 3 pieces of beef on it, plus cold French fries. The pasta was cooked well but had a weird sauce to it like a chicken broth. The chicken didn't taste fresh. It looked like they took the cheapest scraps of a chicken to add to the dish. Ambiance was okay but restaurant was about 10 degrees warmer than the terminal. Service was forgetful, we never got our water refilled, but I think one waiter was working the whole restaurant at 12pm. I would recommend trying somewhere else. I made the mistake of coming here during shift change and they were on a serious delay. Once I was actually seated about 15 minutes after standing in line, the service was fast and the waiter was really nice. Overall, the menu is pretty limited compared to the other locations, but great for airport food. I wasn't starving and just ordered a shareable appetizer, which I didn't actually share, but it was extremely tasty with the goat cheese and spicy honey. My cocktail m was delicious, it was a lavender lemonade that I would definitely have again. The restaurant is dark and almost has a romantic vibe, but nice for a quick meal. read more

The only weirdness was the host way more interested in seating a couple reviewing the menu out front rather than greeting me at the host stand. First time @ ATL airport and I'm currently here and it took me, 10 minutes to get seated when the restaurant was not busy. Only Had 10-15 people inside. 4-5 tables currently occupied with 5 people at the bar. I count 1 bartender, 3 or 4 servers and 2 other works unknown. I get seated in the bar area where I just continue to sit and wait for any acknowledgment, order taking or even a menu. Nothing for 10-15 more minutes. I decide to get up and I ask the bartender if I need to order from her because I'm not sure still if I'm getting a server or not. She says very rudely that she would look for a server for me and know orders placed at the bar unless sitting at the bar. Ok, i wait another 15 minutes. I'm 40 minutes into this still without even being acknowledged. Also be aware that the water being served here is sparkling or still from the bottle. Another added price after the already terrible experience with the wait staff. Oh and don't expect to get the few tv's they have to be turned onto anything except what is already on. No one cares about the customer in this establishment, and in return you should not care about this restaurant and not visit it because ATL airport has many other restaurants in every single one of their terminals to be able to choose from. read more
