Uh, no. If it wasn't a straight up lie so I'd buy a pellet stove, it's pure ignorance. If you don't know just say so. Don't make stuff up. I patiently listened to the guy try to sell me a pellet stove, then a pellet furnace, even after I clearly stated I wanted something that didn't require electricity...which I reminded him of after the furnace pitch to which he replied "just get a generator." I was gonna buy their last coal stove but no thanks. Not listening to me=no sale. I went to Fuel & Flame instead bc If they don't know something they say so, or find out, and they do not attempt to blow smoke up (you know where) or sell me crap I don't want. 3 stars because they did have the damper I needed, and the store is neat, well lit, and stocked to the ceiling with pellet stuff (if that's your bag, man.) Staff is friendly, at least. I guess the "atmospheric conditions" just weren't right for me to give 5 stars.

Showed up right on time. Their system sent notifications letting me know when they were on their way and estimate arrival time. They surveyed, and immediately quoted the work. They did not try to overall sell me they understood the situation. Fixed some cracking in the mortar on top of the Chimney, as noted by inspector and installed new Chimney cap. Everything done in a few hours. Also they are providing an invoice with pictures so I have documentation of what was done.

He first installed a gas outlet for our gas grill (I bought one and didn't realize I needed a special gas outlet for it - oops!) Pete since repaired our pool heater and installed a new one when we needed one. He also didn't make me feel like a fool when I couldn't figure out a basic thing with our gas grill - he came out and showed me how to do it with no issue. Highly recommend him. They have always shown up on time and are very respectful. The quality of their work is top notch. I am more than pleased. Side note: Through ignorance, I was burning some wood that created a lot of creosote in my wood boiler and chimney. They explained, in detail, the best way to avoid that in the future. Now I'm confident that I will avoid a dangerous creosote build up again. I highly recommend this company to everyone. One more thing; as a single older woman, I've been screwed over a few times from other people. Certified Chimney is the polar opposite. The cost of their work is consistent and fair.

I had an emergency situation where in the middle of the night my chimney crumbled which I couldn't…read morebelieve because I've had no issues with it for 18 years. So I hired Jeff to come out to see what happened & give me a quote to get a new chimney and/or repair the old one. To my surprise after Jeff thoroughly inspected everything, told me that it was a Mk-48 torpedo that was dropped from either a P-3C Orion or Seahawk helicopter. At first he wanted $900 just to clean up the remains of the Otto II fuel from the torpedo but then said he'd give me a package deal; torpedo cleanup & put in a new chimney but said he needed $12,500 up front which I paid. Then after he never showed up for any of the appointments I find out that he's been putting in a lot of overtime putting out fires for the Dayville Fire Dept & that he was recently promoted to Fire Chief. So I guess I'm S out of luck on getting my crumbled chimney, the Mk-48 torpedo and all of the Otto II fuel off my house & property. Do not use this guy.
