If you are looking for an honest contractor offering a fair price, look no more! It's unusual to find an owner of a small company that still gets out and loves what he does. Ron was there from the first phone call for an estimate, to an in-person estimate, and then his personal hands-on installation work. Ron is a consummate skilled craftsman at his trade who was coaching a new assistant during our installation. He is a patient professional who visited our home several times to answer questions and refine the estimate as our thinking changed. When Ron comes and provides with you a quote the first thing you'll notice is his expertise, professionalism, and friendly manner. He will walk with you and ask your needs and wants. He'll give you his professional opinion and let you decide what works best for you. His pricing was reasonable and fair. Although Ron did not push it, I added the stainless screens on top of most gutter runs because we have lots of leaves from a Long Beach City tree and needles from our row of tall junipers. Ron is typically booked out a couple months but worth the wait. As others have said, he is busy for a reason--his service is a great value for you and your house. I strongly recommend him. The Gutter Guys gave amazing service from start to finish, and I can't recommend them highly…read moreenough! I have a two-story house with a unique section where water collects when it rains. The previous rain gutter contractor didn't do a good job, so I needed a contractor who would listen to my needs and design a good solution. I normally get three quotes for any construction work, but after reading the consistent positive reviews about The Gutter Guys, I decided to take a chance on them. From the very beginning, Lorraine (scheduler) was so professional and accommodating. When Angel (estimator) came out, he was polite and he patiently listened to the back story about the problem roof section. He emailed me a design plan that exceeded my expectations. Once the job was scheduled, I was so pleased that the crew of three (Angel's dad, brother, and employee) was punctual and came in two vans, fully loaded with all of the materials. Angel's dad patiently listened to my concerns and described where the gutters would be placed to best move rainwater away from my house. He also gave me choices on the height of the rain shields to minimize water splatter. As the work progressed, Angel's dad asked me to come out to see the layout of the downspout to make sure I was okay with it. Oh, and another important note is that my house has tile shingles that can easily crack if a contractor walks on it carelessly. I had just re-roofed the entire house last year for a lot of money, so I asked the crew to please be careful to minimize cracked shingles. At the completion of the job, not one shingle was cracked! Another amazing bit is that they replaced for free and without my asking, a small rain shield at another part of the house with a 6" high shield to match the aesthetics of the 6" high shield that they installed for their contracted project. The crew finished before the estimated time, and they cleaned everything up. I'm so grateful for the amazing overall experience, and now I can sleep in peace for the upcoming El Nino storms. Kudos to The Gutter Guys for their professionalism and care!
