I suppose that is due to the limited time they have to teach them so perhaps my expectations were a bit high. Also, beware the parties run back to back and right alongside of some 1-1 cheer instruction (the students and instructors stay out of the way of the party). While I was hanging out with the parents during the party, we were able to watch some of the gymnastics students in their 1-1 instruction - wow. The students there seem very talented and focused and they had many awards hanging on the ceiling as well. If my daughters want to get into cheer, I will look at this place very closely as they seem very good. The birthday party was a success too.

I'm so grateful that my daughter went back into Had she not it would've been an extremely upsetting situation, Because there is a gym inside and dozens of people coming in and out If she had went out to look for me, she would've been lost or taken! She was livid that my daughter told us things that happened at practice, saying she could no longer trust my daughter, as she expects the girls to keep secrets from their parents. They also enroll way too many kids for the number of coaches. My daughter was seriously injured when she fell from the bars when the coach walked away while he should have been spotting her. There were too many kids for the number of coaches and they had knocked the mats out from under the bar, so her fall wasn't cushioned. No coach even called us; my daughter had to call to be picked up for X-rays. (The coach made her call from the coach's phone for proof they had contacted us, but she told my daughter she didn't actually want to talk to us.). And when we arrived to take her to the ER, the head coach did not even come speak to us about the injury. Empire will take your money. But they won't keep your child's well being at the forefront. They will expect her to keep secrets, and if she gets hurt at practice, they won't take care of her. So just be warned.

I booked Golden Grip Gymnastics about six weeks before my son's 3rd birthday. They were so much cheaper than everywhere else in the area, but my husband and I checked out the gym when we put down the deposit so I felt confident that the kids would at least have fun if nothing else! I had planned to bring my own cake and have pizza delivered, and although GGG provides tablecloths, plates, napkins, etc., I brought my own because I wanted everything to follow the theme of the party. We had the whole huge gym to ourselves. The gymnastics area was a BLAST for the kids (especially the foam pit), and then Corbyn led a group dancing game and we took photos of all the kids together (a great idea and something I never would have thought of to do!). The GGG team took care of setting up, handling the kids, handing out pizza and cake, and cleaning up. Corbyn set everything up on the tables, but was totally cool with me rearranging some things in order to make room for the pizza.  My review is not doing justice to the amount of hard work the GGG team put in and how much fun the kids had. I could not give a stronger recommendation for Golden Grip as a birthday party venue. Such a great experience, and depending on my son's interests next year, we'll probably plan to be back!

Run by a former Olympian, she taught her the basics and seemed to break it all down in a way my niece would understand. I had the privilege to observe a couple of classes in a great holding area for the parents and visitors. They have all the equipment you'd expect in a world-class gymnastics space, I almost wanted to go out there and do some of it myself but couldn't upstage those starry-eyed kids! As I understand it they also train the older kids who are Olympic hopefuls and have garnered some major awards in the various competitions across the state. As I understand it, gymnastics is HUGE in Texas so it makes perfect sense a place like this exists!
