I am thrilled I found this studio for my daughter, and I only wish I had found them sooner. We tried a few studios and they either disregarded any concerns I had, had terrible communication, or never had the same teacher teaching from week to week. The office ladies have always responded to me quickly and were very polite. The owner even called me personally to discuss some concerns I had, and was extremely thorough and honest. I have never been to a business that everyone is always so nice, honest and spent so much time answering my questions and helping us make my daughter feel comfortable with the change. During this time of uncertainty, I feel as comfortable having my daughter dance here as I would in my own home. They are taking great precautions to make everyone safe and keep them healthy while there. I can't imagine having her dance anywhere else after our experience here. They are the best! read more

Originally I bi-passed on this studio because of advertising and a deal I found with another local studio, idanz. My experience there was less than stellar. Kids running around, not much supervision, not sure if I ever saw the owner, other parents at the front desk? and I'm not sure what my daughter learned in her short time there. Because my daughter loved to dance and she did love the classes, I decided to find another studio that would give me what I was looking for as a parent. I'm sad I didn't go with my gut originally, but I'm glad I decided to give Centre for Dance a try. It has been the best experience! The space is in a great location, they are very organized, I feel safe and I feel my daughter is safe, I have seen the owner and she has a full office staff that made us all feel very welcome. A great studio to grow as a dancer! The staff is welcoming and the dance instructors are very knowledgeable! The owner Susan is very involved and supportive of all the dancers and parents who go there. I've been dancing at this studio for 2 years now and it feels like home! I've also taken many classes with director Camille Thompson and she is just amazing inside and out! She has helped not only me as an adult improve as a dancer but younger students as well! I don't know how she does it or has the patience but she does it! She even gives back to the community whenever she can like taking her time out to throw a woman in need a baby shower because she knew she didn't have a chance to prepare for her babys arrival! This is my daughter's 1st year dancing at Centre for Dance on their elite team. I can't say enough positive things about the studio, the owners, this instructors and the community. Sadly my daughter's old studio where she studied for 9 years, closed abruptly. Susan, at CFD welcomed us (and many others) and immediately made us feel like a part of this dance family. I admire Susan's professionalism and integrity. The team manager, Dani is AMAZING. She makes the life of being a dance mom soo much easier! The Director for their performing company, Meredith Jones, has a gift for creating exquisite choreography. She is such a positive role model and anyone taking classes from her is lucky. We honestly could not have asked for a better dance studio for both of my kids! My daughter has been going to this studio for the past 3 years and started out with one class and now taking 4 dance classes here. The instructors are amazing, they are very encouraging and patient. The owner and admin/office staff are very helpful and open to any questions or suggestions. Not only are the teachers here great but so are the other students and parents. Parents and students genuinely encourage one another to do their best. There's a good number of kids taking classes here which has made my daughter feel very comfortable and the dancers are diverse in background and skill level. I have been to a ton of dance recitals in my life, but by far, Centre for Dance is the best!! They just completed this year's this past Sunday. They instruct so many children that it took 4 different shows to ensure all parents, grandparents, aunts uncles etc. could be there to see these wonderfully talented children perform what they have learned this year from the most professional staff!!!! Shows were all wonderful, moved and staged and absolutely on time for all. Watching children from toddlers to teens on stage made my heart melt. This studio ALWAYS does it right! 5 star training, teachers, location and more! I've attended classes here for years and I've never met a more attentive and caring owner, the staff and teachers have propelled my little ones to reach every goal they set, the office is very timely to respond and accurate. They have an open door policy and an area where you can watch the classes as they are happening. The studio is clean and there are tons of dance rooms with great lighting and sound systems. I've always been very impressed that the staff, office and owners remember our names with the number of students that attend, and the constant communication. This is my daughter's second year on a competitive team at CFD, and her fourth year dancing competitively. The technique being taught here is correct with highly skilled instructors. My daughter is progressing beautifully and has a renewed love of dance this season. Most importantly, Susan and Dani who manage the studio and the teams truly care about the girls and their families. And we cannot say enough good things about our team director, Jesi. She is so kind and loving and supportive but also just firm enough to push these young dancers to acheive their potential. I happened to be in the shopping center at another business and noticed all the kids and decided to look up more information for my kids. I have a boy and a girl that dance all over my house. Some of the reviews on here I wondered about. I reached out to other friends in the community and everyone raved about the level of dance training they received, and how caring they felt the owner, office and staff gave about their own kids. I finally decided to try them out and my kids have never been happier. They have grown so much in such a short time, many of their friends are in classes with them. This is a great place for kids. I found this studio based on a recommendation from a colleague. I am a medical professional and it's very hard during a pandemic to find activities for my children that are indoors and safe. Centre is going above and beyond any other place I looked at. I feel completely safe leaving my child there for dance. The teachers and office staff have been very professional and answered all of my questions without hesitation. They have made us feel very comfortable. My child is enjoying her class so much that she has asked to take more. I have seen a huge progression in her skills in such a short period of time. This studio is my happy place and all the staff here are incredible. Like a big family. I sent my son and his sister to a dance camp here and Camille was awesome with them both. She brought out a side of my kiddos that I hadn't seen and boosted my daughters confidence. She loves to dance and I wish I could put her on Cams team but she lives so far during the season. I take classes here sporadically when my schedule permits. Moms with moves and afrowerk are a fun way to stay in shape. Like I said this is my happy place my getaway from daily mom duties. This studio was always great, and even better in their new location. They have really thought of everything for their clients and as a parent their safety is top priority. They have a system in place similar to the schools, a large TV in the foyer for parents to view, water fountains and vending machine, large new restooms, spacious hallways, large studios. When our daughter is out sick they gave us the option to zoom. They have a cool setup that looks like our girl is in the class. I can't say enough about this studio. I only moved here a few months ago and found this studio on a whim. The instructors are all amazing. The facility has a ton of studios and are able to offer a lot of classes. They even have a Moms with Moves class for the Moms! All of the staff have been unbelievably nice, friendly and accommodating. The students all become friends and the parents become family. It's a beautiful place to dance. Centre For Dance is an incredible and professional studio. The staff, the parents and the kids have been amazing. It is definitely our home away from home. We have never had a negative experience. The instruction is top notch and my daughter has grown in so many ways. Centre for Dance is such an AMAZING dance studio! They offer a wide variety of dance classes at the most convenient times! My daughters have danced at this studio since 2013. Susan and her staff are always professional, caring and accommodating. Susan Carr's deeply for each of her students and goes out of her way to make each dancer and parent feel special.
