The recitals are well planned, and a joy to watch. The pictures are optional and you are not required to buy them. However, your child is encouraged to be photographed for the group picture at no cost. As far as dancewear, why would he not expect to have to purchase the correct dancwear for his child to participate in ballet? The classes are not boring. It would seem that maybe his child wasn't interested in dancing and has found her nitche somewhere else. I don't find that to be the fault of the studio.

I was in the Army for 8 years and I've been in two car accidents (2003 &2007) which has been rough on my body. I've had constant back pain for what feels like forever. After years of chiropractic care and attempts to find relief via yoga and reformer Pilates, I was at my whit's end. While complaining about my back pain one day, my friend told me to go talk to Jim (his trainer of almost 3 years) to see if he could help me. Well this is what happened....... First Meeting - Jim educated me like I was sitting in one of my old MBA courses. I'm not used to trainers sharing their knowledge so freely. I am all about gaining knowledge and Jim gives you the kind of information that you can use for a lifetime on your own so of course I was all in to try him out for a month. After the first month - I have absolutely positively no more back pain. I mean NONE. I now get up from lying down or siting after long periods without making weird noises from pain. I also noticed that my posture for dance has greatly improved. I dance Kizomba, Bachata, Salsa and a little Tango. I am now sooo much smoother and lighter on the dance floor and I no longer have pain after long nights of dancing. It is now the end of month two - I am now able to feel my muscles develop and I can see my old Army Boot Camp body returning. I am waaay overweight so this is a really big deal for me. I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. Jim is a no-nonsense, easy going, no pressure trainer. I can honestly say that I enjoy every session with him and I now LOVE strength training. I feel like a new woman. If you are looking for a trainer to help you get started or just to progress in your life long journey of being healthy and strong, you should give him a try. An interesting concept, but I don't know why anyone would think they needed to change Shakespeare's writing!!! The Taming of the Shrew has been performed for over 400 years, so it didn't need any rewriting! The cast was excellent, and thankfully, they left alone some of the famous scenes like, the first meeting of Patrucheo and Katherine; and the famous "sun and moon" scene. Definitely a show worth seeing and a lot of fun for the whole family!

Minda also teaches lessons, so I signed right up. Great experience. She's patient, willing to explain things to my engineering brain, and brilliant. More, when it came time to change a string, Minda gave me a lesson. She even let me change a few strings on a harp she was working on. Telling me how to do it, showing me how to do it, then letting me do it but talking me through each step. Finally, doing it on my own but with her watching. Great way of learning. I was able to go home and confidently change the string myself. Five of five stars. And an extra star because she's just so darn nice about it.
