Budget for the planner! Next to buying our house, our wedding was the most expensive day of my life. Thanks to Jessyca and her team we were able to enjoy the day. We knew every vendor we hired was reliable and worked well with the rest of the team. Situations happened, because no day is perfect, but they were promptly resolved with no effort on my part. There was a delay in the kitchen. She re-ordered the timeline. She spoke with the DJ and the festivities continued. No one knew that there was an issue. Hands down exceptional experience to have EBJ as part of our wedding day. We just got married last weekend and all I can say is without them, this beautiful wedding would have never happened. I know how the wedding process can be very hard and I used reviews to make my decision on who to hire a lot so I promised that after my wedding was done I would do a review for all the vendors I used and be as honest as possible. I worked with a coordinator before I hired her and she scheduled a meeting with me twice and never showed up twice. Planning a wedding when you have a full-time job from 7am-5pm each day is nearly impossible! I knew right away that I wanted wedding planning or wedding coordination. After finding the venue and getting some vendor recommendations, I immediately contacted several companies and felt very good about EBJ Events. After speaking with Leslie, one of their Lead Planners on the phone during a consultation, we were able to determine the best plan for me based on where we were in our wedding planning, budget and timing. I went with the Coordination Package which was perfect! As the venue was the most difficult part, which we found prior, Leslie hopped in at the right time to help with the details and there are SO MANY of them. Her tracker and ability to keep my fiancé and I on task was so needed. Starting at the 6-week mark, we were having calls once a week where she filled out the details spreadsheet with me making it a lot less overwhelming. My husband and I had an incredible experience working with team EBJ on our Arabic Indian fusion wedding. We started working with Jess right after we signed our venue contract, about 9 months before our December 2023 wedding. Jess went to work right away, helping us create a budget and priority list. Dipp Photography, Dipp Photobooth, Videographers, DJ's, Flowers, Caterers, Cake, Decorations, Wedding Gown, Tux Rentals, Hotels, Shuttle and Car Services, Budgeting, Timelines, Vendor Contracts, and Payments - Its a lot! But EBJ kept everything organized online in the wedding planner software/app that was extremely easy to use. Jess walked us through options for absolutely everything helping us decide what was worth it and what wasn't based on her experience. She paid for herself with the money and time she saved us! It took us a year to plan the perfect wedding, and it all started with hiring Jess. Our wedding day was perfect! One thing we heard from a lot of our married friends was that "You don't really get to enjoy all the details of your wedding day, it's more for your guest than it is for you." They made sure to have any personal items on hand on my big day, fixed my dress when necessary, took pictures all night and made sure I received every single one, they even sowed a button that popped off at one point. I felt like I had multiple personal assistants catering to my every need. Absolutely amazing. The planning process was very smooth with Jess. I just got married Feb 18th, 2023 after it feels like the longest engagement of all time from (2019). I cannot imagine our wedding without Jess--could not recommend her more! From the moment I first contacted her, she was warm, quick to respond, and great with communicating her expertise. We had our wedding at my family's home and chose her day of planning package, which actually included consultations and vendor contacting before the big day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding day, she helped us set our timeline and find vendors when we were having trouble. The day before, she came to the house and did an in-person run through of all the vendors who were coming and all the personal objects we needed set out. The day of, she set those objects out, managed our timeline, and even helped trouble shoot the rain that decided to move in for the entire day. She is so organized and knowledgeable, the platform they have available is truly the best.. leading up to the wedding this platform and Jess kept me on task and I never felt overwhelmed. I would like to highlight that Jessyca comes through, both in pre-wedding planning and in managing the day of the event. My Husband and I chose to do a destination wedding in Santorini, Greece. This was no small feat for Jessyca, as she had to deal with not only language barriers, but time differences, limited Greek resources, and a "foreign" territory altogether. If you're looking for the best event planner in the business, look no further - she is THE ONE. Don't hesitate! I promise you won't regret this decision! Where do I even start?! I started looking for a wedding planner early in 2019 and came across Jess on Instagram. She followed up with me immediately and asked me some questions about my event and needs and the rest is history! She sent me some info, told me to take time to go over it but I was sold after our first call. She has a beautiful passion for what she does and how she handles her business. I was onboard with Jess for almost a year to plan my wedding in December of 2020. She helps keep you on track on a month to month basis with a very organized and user -friendly planning system and planned calls with her. Jess and her crew were guardian angels in disguise at our wedding! Like most people who get married for the first time, we didn't have a lot of experience in what is required to pull a memorable wedding together. So I asked my friend Shon (who recently got engaged and will also using her services for his wedding in South Florida) if he knew any wedding planners. He tells me he has been to a number of weddings where she has helped a number of people with weddings and multiple other party events. I went on to facebook and Instagram to look up her work and was instantly impressed because she has handled multicultural weddings from people all over the world. I'm from South India and my wife is from originally France and wanted to do a mixed type of wedding with our own cultural touch to it. Needless to say it wasn't her first rodeo or south Indian wedding. I later found out my wedding DJ, DJ Pavan has even used her services for his family events. Pros: Wedding website - sets up with an interactive website that keeps close tabs of wedding costs and checklist to mark off things that have been taken care of and things to take care off. Meetings - both often on the phone, texting and in person as needed. Experience - She is married, (sorry guys) so she does have firsthand experience understanding what is required plus extensive experience handling other peoples weddings (multicultural weddings as well) Team - professional and down to earth and assists on the day of weddings. It was like having a couple of other Jessyca's Vendors - introduced us to high quality vendors well within our budget such as photography (Organic Moments), DJ + decorations (DJ Pavan), videographer (Gamut Photography). Peace of Mind - managing family, vendors, hotel, or anything else that you can think up of. Jess can handle it. Cons: Nothing to do with her but I messed up not using Events by Jess for the Rehearsal. Jess reviews all the docs and things for all the events. I didn't use her for the rehearsal party for the day before just to save a couple of hundred bucks. The food vendor (won't mention names, cuz I ain't no snitch) didn't bring the food for a lunch event. I had to organize decorations, set up the club house and try to fend off a hungry mob. Totally didn't realized how much work was involved with setting up a small party and how I was unprepared to manage it. This was the day before the wedding and I was exhausted but the following day I didn't have to manage anything and thanks to Jess everything flowed smoothly. Jessyca and her team did a tented wedding for my niece in Southwest Ranches with full planning. I was a bridesmaid and as wedding photographer myself, i can attest to good and bad event vendors. I am usually unimpressed with event coordinators, but she is a major exception!! She is meticulous and hard working! I can't express how thankful we are she was the planner!! She made the day a huge success and handled unexpected bumps in the road with calm grace. The only advice I have is we wish we would have followed her advice at 100%. The few vendors we insisted on were a flop and we are positive the challenges we encountered for our own stubbornness would not have happened had we used her vendor recommendations. Where do I begin? Well, I hired Jessyca in June of 2020 right after I got engaged. I wanted to pretend that Covid wasn't happening and have something amazing to look forward to in the future: my wedding! I had interviewed a handful of planners, but Jessyca really stood out to me. Not only is she extremely organized, professional, and responsive, she was warm and personable and I could feel a connection with her immediately. We began planning for a January 2022 wedding. Jessyca's process shows brides exactly every detail they should focus on and when, based on how many months out you are. This checklist was so helpful in guiding in what I should be focusing on in the timeline of 1.5 years. Everything was going great and so many friends were looking forward to a "normal" wedding event post-covid.....Flash forward to December 2021 when omicron and panic start surging. In the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding, Jessyca helped me almost entirely revise my wedding plan to accommodate for Covid safety and changing numbers. Down the final day, Jessyca was on calls, emails, and working around the clock to make sure every concern, request, and question my eclectic family had was answered. On the days leading up to it, I was so panicked that my dream wedding wasn't going to be possible. But Jessyca's team worked their literal magic and made my vision come alive.
