AB Edward redid the entire roof and garage for a 4000 sq ft house. There have been no problems since and I don't foresee any problems for a long time. I also recommended them to others. If you want exterior construction done right, pay what a reputable contractor is worth the first time so you don't have issues with repairs in the future.

Asked if they could do a weekend appointment, no. Asked if they could just come and look at the roof without us having to be home, no. According to their policy, they can't provide a quote without meeting you and they don't have extended hours (their business hours are 9-5 which are the same as mine). What can a face to face meeting accomplish that a phone call and/or email can't in this situation? With so many companies doing similar work in the area, I don't understand the lack of flexibility here. Update: they called today and said someone did come by yesterday to take measurements, but at a different time than the scheduled time, and they will provide a proposal in a few days. While the communication could have been better, I appreciate their efforts to work with me.

We had several estimates from companies that never returned calls or texts or inflated the costs because they new we needed a new roof ASAP. From the beginning we talked to Cathy who was extremely knowledgeable and talked to us every time we needed to make decissions and she even helped us pick out the color. If she was not available we always got a real person to talk to or had the option of visiting their office. Bob came out and could not have been more compationate to our immediate needs and addressed our problems . The crew was on time, efficient and courtious. The history why I have a trust with the company. My latest project was new soffits, gutters and guards. I am very happy that I do not expect to climb the ladders and the soffits are now venting the attic properly. My home now has a much better curb appeal. However, the experience was not like I had in the past. I am very disappointed. Surprise: the next day after 8:00 a sub-contractors van shows up. They are wearing shirts with another firm's name on the back. The worker has a printout with instructions and tells me there in nothing about replacing the freeze boards. The quote was based upon a sales meeting and his instructions. Based upon my past with Peterson I expected the quote was complete. Apparently, they stopped doing clear all inclusive pricing. Sloppy work and left my yard filthy with dozens of nails, aluminum piece, scrap wood insulation all over the yard and deck. I'll be looking for, and picking up the mess over the next few weeks. The use of tarps would have reduced the mess. I had a the roof replaced by Phoenix Exteriors a few weeks earlier and only found three nails near the downspouts. When I pointed out a couple of sloppy points, my home was blamed: "older house is not straight". Flashing with bubbles, and gaps where the strips tuck. The issues show up on the new "freeze boards." Not confident if the boards were put on straight. Taking advantage of elderly customers is not successful business practice. Scheduling: I had to call the office to get on the schedule. I was told Sept, 30, no one showed up. Two days later I called back and transferred to a manager. He seemed surprised and told me he would get back that afternoon. 20 days later I get a call: they are coming out the next day - 7:30 am. Lack of and poor communication is fixable. Peterson had an opportunity keep a returning customer. These issues point to a change in work ethic and can be fixed with a little effort. It's disappointing to see another local business get sloppy.

After the strong winds over the last year, the flat portion of our roof was worse for wear. We…read morereached out to Dickson after a neighbor recommendation and our previous roofers ghosted us. Manny came out that same week, took a look at the roof and provided us with a quote for both roofing options to consider--each quote felt completely reasonable. We opted to go with the EPDM flat roof system. Our project overlapped their busy season but we were still put on the schedule for a couple weeks out. The Dickson team was a small group focused on just our project--I did not feel like they were rushing the work to move onto the next which was honestly a huge plus. Manny did not push unnecessary work, products or attempt to upsell us. The work took a couple days to complete and Manny was sure to keep me up to speed on their progress at the end of each day. When the work was finished he had us take a look and, again, explained what they did. Unlike previous contractors, Manny and his team kept the work clean. I have yet to find a single stray nail in our yard or driveway and there was very little residual roofing debris from the removal of the old roll shingles. Our roof and the quality of work looks great and we will definitely be reaching out when we need to replace the rest.

The work…read moreinvolved a complete tear off of the existing roofing material (many layers thick, completely filling a large dumpster to overflow) masonry work to repair the inner roof parapet wall and new chimney, and new state of the art roofing foam insulation board, membrane installation and related flat roofing materials. The work started promptly. The crew was hardworking and conscientious and greatly exceeded my expectations. When they were done I had a beautiful new roof. Cleanup was done especially well. Once work started, crews were on-site until timely completion. When there was the threat of rain, exposed areas were covered. The price was a little more than others charge, but given that they have been in business for many years, the quality of work performed, the quality of the materials used and the warranty provided, it was worth the small premium. The company communicated with me every step of the way and shared pictures of trouble areas, progress, and completion.
