Our first experience at Ebbe was notably impressive. The presentation of the food was exceptional. We did enjoy every taste while some dishes were beautiful but the taste was not so amazing. Yes they were beautifully presented and paired very well with the wines. My only criticism would be that we had the Discovery menu at $185 pp and found we were still hungry afterwards. We have eaten at many Michelin star restaurants worldwide and yes Ebbe is truly special for Tampa it wouldn't get the same high attention in major cities with many Michelin 1 star restaurants.

I came with my parents to celebrate graduating and it was such a beautiful dinner. I would consider myself a picky eater so I typically don't go to restaurants that do prix fixe menus. Everything on the menu was delicious and the service was great. I loved that I could follow along on the little paper menu and they brought the food at our eating pace. We usually eat super quickly so I was worried we would be waiting long between courses but they brought our next course quickly after we finished the previous. Everything was super thoughtful and enjoyable.

Art on a plate....all 12 of the Prestige menu plates! Ocean was such a lovely host...so attentive and engaging, very clearly passionate to serve such exquisite masterpieces. Order the 5 wine flight (at a minimum). A champagne toast was the perfect way to start the evening. From there, the first 4 courses were served together -- the special caviar was such a treat along with the eclairs which had a Jerusalem artichoke filling. The turbot that was topped with zucchini and then a champagne butter sauce was divine...I could have drank the sauce by itself! And the sheep yogurt citrus was outstanding! I was surprised they were not even close to full on a Friday night, but it sounds like they had a couple of no-shows. Bravo to the chef, kitchen and staff here for creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere for a special occasion...or even a special first date :)

The level this restaurant is not comparable to any other Tampa restaurant. The food was whimsical and delicious, and the service was impeccable. My only complaint is that I asked to meet the Chef, and he left early.

This might have been the best meal I've ever had. We did the 12 course prestige tasting menu. It was definitely the best turbot, scallop and duck I've ever eaten. Our server was super knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant is gorgeous and we actually liked the seating more than we expected. The only downside is the wine. The wine was great but paying $25 for a glass when I can buy the bottle for $19 seems like a rip off. Otherwise, absolutely worth the price and experience.

Amazing dinner experience from beginning to end. Each course unique, complex, and delicious. Highly recommend the wine pairings; each complimented its dish very well. Chef Ocean was a true delight. Quiet, relaxed ambiance makes for a perfect special date night.

I really love how much the Tampa food scene has grown and evolved the last few years. With Ebbe, it has really gone up to another level. As the newest Michelin Star restaurant here, I think they bring some fantastic sophistication and execution to the table. The ambiance of the restaurant is modern minimalist. Don't expect lots of decor or furniture. Everything is very to the point and functional, which probably relates to the Scandinavian ethos of this restaurant. Service was very on point. Loved having the Chef come over and explain each dish. The water glass was always kept full and dishes were removed after each course with precision. Some people might feel the spacing between each course is long. But for me, I thought it was fine. I wasn't in a rush and the time between courses allowed me to really process what I just ate. As for the food itself, very well executed. You can see the precision and technical skills needed to turn out such well plated and well thought out courses. Overall, very impressed by this restaurant. Would definitely come back to try again when the menu changes with the season :)

Pictures from a recent tasting menu. The food was amazing & the chef was delightful . Such a great experience. Highly recommended!

Went last year, had prestige menu, the food was overall good, some inventive dishes and flavorful, small portion sizes but that's expected from a chefs experience. We enjoy trying new restaurants especially chef crafted menus. There was only one other couple dining while we were there which I found odd for such a large seating area. I believe the other couple was either famous or good friends with staff as I felt like we were seated as far away from them as possible and that we were a bit of an after thought for attention and conversation with staff/chefs. Maybe we'll give them another try this year.

Ebbe has a different take on service, they don't have any wait staff just chefs that bring the food out. In reality I would have preferred a professional waiter but we can leave that to preference. The food was all good and obviously fresh. It had a Scandinavian flair to it and was tasty. The presentation was Michelin like as was the price. I personally felt that it was a little light on food compared to other similar places I've been. My biggest negative is they don't have any soda of any kind because they feel it will affect the taste of the food, yet they serve beer. If you can't drink alcohol, water is your only choice. The ambiance was simple, no clutter by choice I was told, it was very quite although that probably because we were the only couple their. With that said I was impressed that they went all out and made sure we were served the full experience anyway.

I visited Ebbe on a Friday night at 6:30 with a party of 4. We were a few minutes late for a reservation which was not a problem. We were seated at a corner of the counter seating environment which was nice because we could socialize with the group. We opted for the small tasting and did not do the wine pairing. I ordered one of the red wines that they were offering but they do not have a wine menu and they do not have a beer menu. They have yuengling for beer only. They also only offer bottled water which I think is odd. I am actually on the border between 4 and 5 stars over this beverage situation actually. I was charged $14 for two bottles of water but I don't think there is any way we even drank one bottle of water. I think I had about a half of a glass of water. I also despise waste from water bottles. Just give me tap and let me do what I can for the environment. The food was incredible and the chefs who work in ALL roles at the restaurant are positive (not perfect) but the food knowledge and expertise that you receive from them about the food is extremely special. I feel privileged that I was able to have dinner here.

We dined at Fisk and enjoyed every bite! Ocean was great, she was helpful, cheerful and lovely. The salmon eclairs were incredible, the caviar and beef tartar. We also had meatballs and sourdough bread and the wine was delicious as well. I cannot wait to return!

Well, my first time in Tampa and through my research Ebbe was my first choice. Though it's not the best Michelin Star restaurant in my opinion, it is still a good one. The dishes were wonderful, fresh, delicious and well presented, with the exception of the bread. Venue and ambience are a bit too simple for this level of restaurant, so it's the service , nothing special compared to how one would normally feel as you walk in a Michelin starred restaurant. Overall, although the food was very good, it is not enough...

It's so cute in there and there are so many wonderful things to see and purchase. I could have spent hours there exploring everything. I love anything international especially an area of the world I haven't visited. I loved all the runners. They were all so cute and colorful with beautiful patterns. I wanted them all but sadly had a small suitcase. I also loved anything Christmas they had. I have a wooden village and found some cute things to put in it. I especially love this cute little wooden tree that fits in perfectly with what I have. My mom and I also got some delicious chocolates. She got two 70% cacao bars for her and my husband. I got delicious little chocolate praline Santas for us to all share. We were too late to get a Kringle since most were sold out and my husband's family is picky. They have 15 different flavors that I'd like to try sometime. They're so good. I've had them before. I also loved all the wooden dolls, straw horses and local food stuffs. Such a cute store! Love it!

First, it is a store that is totally accessible for wheelchairs, which is a huge deal for me. Second, the minute we got in the store we were overwhelmed by the number of amazing options we saw in the various rooms. The quality is high and the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. So, I tried the chair, the "Stressless" chair and boy is it! it removes all the pressure points where I have pain and it is adjustable when and where I need it to be. The arms of the chair are completely perfect in height and width. For anyone, of course, but with severe joint issues, this is sooo helpful for my whole upper body. The lower part is so adjustable that I am able to be in comfort head to toe and can adjust it all as needed, easily! The chair has a perfect remote that magnets onto the side. Easy install. I highly recommend. I worked with Tom, who was such a perfect sales associate. More associate than sales. I feel like he really listened to my needs and provided several options in different price ranges and then helped us as needed. I felt totally in charge with no pressure, it was really like having someone who knew me and was just there to ensure I got just the right thing. He was so helpful and so encouraging and just great to help us find what would be best for me and not just an agenda for what to sell. I never felt like I was hoping to shop alone. He was practically psychic as to when to pop over and when to let us chat about things. That is what comes with empathy and experience. The perfect combination. On to delivery. Ok, if you want something dropped off, that is not what you get with Gabe and Kyle. They not only delivered the furniture, but they ensured it was placed perfectly, adjusted the rug when it was not centered and Gabe has a real eye for placement and for making an OCD person like me feel like we were on the same team and he was placing things like he would want them, also OCD, lol. Kyle was right there with the heavy lifting and support in making sure things were just right. It felt like designers delivering my furniture. Stayed until I was sure it was perfect because it will stay there forever because I cant moe it. lol Overall, the store, service, delivery, quality and prices get ALLLLL the stars. If I need anything for my home, I will be back and I hope I need more soon. I love everything we got and the whole experience was above and beyond from everyone with whom I dealt. As someone with some disabilities, I never felt for a second like I was different or being talked down to, which can sometimes lessen the experience. My mom/roommate is normal and she agrees with every word of what I said. She was thrilled with this store, the furniture and every person we met from the beginning to the end. I cannot recommend this store enough. If you need anything, please check it out. You will not be sorry. Also, they have so many accessories that are unique and very much conversation starters. Ask for the Fish lights. I loved them. Great glass sculptures as well. You could spend a couple hours and not see everything they have to offer. Again, highly recommend. Thanks, Tom, Gabe and Kyle.

I drove 100+ miles and picked up my kitchen. After spending a few hours assembling the cabinets I realized that the cabinets were not the right size. 30" vs the 36" I had indicated that I needed. I was Not happy but decided to just deal with it and use what I was sold. When I went to install the cabinets on the wall I realized that the over the refrigerator cabinet was 24" deep instead of the 14" that I had requested to match the depth of the rest of the cabinets. This was a deal breaker for me as this cabinet door would not open due to it hitting the refrigerator hinges. I called customer service and spoke with someone that I could barely understand and explained the situation. When I was done explaining, the line was disconnected!!!. I started over and spoke to another person that was hard to understand with a dog barking in the background. This person set me up with an online appointment to resolve the problem. Six hours later I had the online appointment where the nice person that I could understand explained to me that they only designed kitchens and had no authority to resolve the situation. He then gave me a phone number to call to resolve the situation which was the same number that I had originally called. I called again and the individual I spoke to didnt seem to have enough knowledge about their product to help me. At this point I asked to return the cabinets. Ikea will pick up the cabinets in 9 DAYS. Then 5-6 business days later I will be refunded the money. So now I have to wait two more weeks to be able to reorder cabinets elsewhere because my money is tied up by this fiasco!
