What an utter disappointment and a bad look for Chula. My husband and I tried to come last week but the store wasn't open at the posted hours (we waited about 15 mins past the stated opening time of noon). We went back today and they were open, but the owner was exceptionally rude. We politely asked if they had any 49er gear (they had Raiders stuff). He proceeded to berate us, telling me "you're in the wrong part of the state." He also defended the Dodgers fans beating Giants fan Bryan Stow almost to death. When I politely told my husband I would wait outside, the owner said, "Good, leave!" We had come in planning to buy shirts for a large group of out of town guests, but we will absolutely NOT give our business to this place. On top of everything else, they are using the City of Chula Vista logo without permission and in violation of copyright law. Very trashy move. By comparison, the other shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars on 3rd Ave in Chula are wonderful! We've loved Grind House, The Balboa, Don Pedro's, Paw Pleasers, Tavern at the Vogue, and more. Shame on me for wanting to come into this store during GAME 3 of the Padre vs. Dodgers series during the playoffs! Initially, I was picking up my pizza and wings from La Bellas. And maybe a nice cold beer! I passed by this shop. The owner was disgustingly rudr. I went straight to check out the Padres merch and wanted to take a photo to send to my boyfriend to show him what I'm getting. The photo that was added was a snippet, or screen shot, of a snapchat I was trying to make. The owner yelled at me and said "NO PHOTOS! CAN I HELP YOU!" Mind you, I was snapping how cute some of the Padre gear was while the game was on! Panning from the Padre gear to their T.V - and that's when he yelled "NO PHOTOS! CAN I HELP YOU!?" I politely apologized and put my phone away. Being in customer service for many years, I could see why photo were not allowed. However, from an owners perspective, I'd want my customers to show off my store. I did buy my toddler a a SD Padre shirt, and a shirt for myself. The lady who checked me out was nicer, but was also stand offish. Shame on me for not checking reviews on Yelp. I paid for my items and left. I went to pick up my pizza/wings from La Bellas. Wow. Came here and they have 2 open signs but the door was locked. All lights were off. They have a sign for their store hours that basically make it seem "if we're lucky, they'll be here." I recently went to the Chula Vista store and as I always do, I checked my yelp to see if there was a check in deal going on.... And there was! It was $75 for $50. So I thought awesome. I grabbed 3 items: 2 t-shirts and 1 flag. Total came out to $91.78 but I was like cool I got the voucher. The cashier said they don't accept them and that yelp put that up with out the stores consent, which I thought was kind of odd. The part that got to me was the way the cashier reacted... He even told me that why would they put a coupon like that up right now , especially while the chargers are having a winning season... "...It's not like we're desperate right now" He didn't even apologize for the misunderstanding, the way he acted towards it made me feel like I should feel embarrassed for pulling up the voucher. Simply AMAZING! This is the go to store for a Christmas gift for any San Diego Chargers, Padres and Los Angeles Fans. I was looking for 3X hoodie/shirts for my cousin for Christmas. He is a hardcore, Padres and Chargers Fan. I walked in and was instantly greeted by the two Owners. It was such a wonderful experience, that I was in the store for over an hour just chatting. They're so down to earth and humble people. The customer service I received was top-notch. I was told stories how the company came about, family stories about their daughters, how involved they are in the community and HUGE supporters of the Military, I was so impressed. They both went above and beyond for me today, and I was so grateful for their help. Prices are reasonable and comparable or less then the stadium. Clothes are neatly organized and folded. Overall store is neatly placed by teams and store is well taken care of. Lots of classic gadgets and trinkets of items when they first started the business. A place you could find the perfect gift for any sports fan. I would HIGHLY recommend. read more

The owner of these two stores do not stand by their word. They sent out an email to their customers stating that due to the NFL lockout being over, they had a 50% off sale on "ALL APPAREL" and it turned out to be false. I went to their Chula Vista location to buy an authentic jersey. I asked the owner for the price and she said "$248.00, plus half off that." I was about to buy the jersey but they didn't have my size. I left the store and went to their National City location. I found the jersey in my size and the clerk said "I don't think the sale includes authentic jerseys." I told the clerk that the email I received said "ALL APPAREL" and she immediately contacted the owner at the Chula Vista location via phone. They talked for approx 2-3 min and all the clerk said was "Yes; No". At the end of the conversation, it turned out that they only wanted to sell me a jersey of a player who is no longer on the team (#21) for 50% off. When I told the clerk that I wanted the other jersey (#17) the clerk said "It's already sold, and the sale for the jersey's is only at the Chula Vista store." It didn't make sense, so I left the store. I understand that they didn't want to loose money on their authentic jerseys but they should've noted that in their 50% off sale email. read more

This was a place I would come to to get jerseys, hats, shirts, anything sports related. I would recommend this place to others as well. I have family that are Raider fans that would love to come here because they are Raider fans too and it would always seem like we were getting good service. I liked this place to the point that my wife would come here to shop for me for gifts. So my wife came here to buy me a couple of hats as a b-day gift. My wife wasn't sure about the size so the guy, perhaps owner, told her that if it didn't fit she could just bring them to exchange them. They didn't point out that there was a 7 day exchange policy, which would not have been enough time for her to exchange them if needed. Few weeks later I had the opportunity to exchange them, but when I got there the guy, perhaps owner, just said no "7 days". I tried to explain to him that it was a gift and it didn't fit and he said "7 days". I then told him I wanted the same hats, just a size smaller, hats had not been used with all tags on. He then said "let me see your receipt", I showed him the receipt, thinking we may be able to do something, but he simply pointed to the receipt where it mentioned the 7 day exchange policy and says "it says here, 7 days". Didn't even look at the hats to see they were in the same condition as when they were purchased. Talked to my wife and she was bummed. We think it was the same guy that helped her, that gave her the assurance that she could exchange the hats if it didn't fit, but did not say it had to be before 7 days, like he was quick to point out to me. My wife spent over $100 there that day, and not to mentioned how much she had spent in the past there, and they still would not do a simple exchange. We always liked this place because it was family owned, and in our community, but safe to say we will not come here again, and share this experience with our friends and family we had recommended this place to before. read more

Absolutely the best sports store for any die hard Charger or Raider fan. The owners are cool and very helpful. I have bought many hats, jerseys, and all sorts of knick knacks over the years for my man cave. I first started shopping here in 04 and never went any where else.
