    Herb-Crusted Chicken

Good place to eat and it showed because more people came in to eat dinner. I had never heard of this place and apparently it was a chain restaurant only on the east coast. I ordered the Mushroom and Onion Burger ($7.29) which won first place at the National Hamburger Festival in 2009. It was pretty good! I recommend it if you like mushrooms and onions. I ordered mashed potatoes with chicken gravy for a side because I had fries earlier. That tasted good and complemented the burger when dipped it in the gravy. My teammate ordered the Herb-Crusted Chicken ($8.99) and he seemed to enjoy it. The service was good and our waitress came to check on us every now and then. The place was clean for the most part; however, our table was dirty when we sat down. That didn't bother me since it wasn't on my side of the table. lol It was just like a Denny's where we had to pay at the register. Good food!

Your standard Eat n Park. Remodeled recently and appears very clean with friendly staff. There isn't anything special about eat n park in my opinion. You can get a decent meal hear for pretty cheap. The fresh fruit is no good out of season. Pancakes are delicious. I think they do breakfast better than dinner. The buffet is good if you want a quick meal. Im sure I'll come back when I am in the area.

This place never misses!…read more Arrived 5 minutes after opening at 7am and already had plenty of people inside as well as some coming in after us. I highly recommend getting here as early as you possibly can or you will be waiting at the door since this is a compact spot with not much seating available, people do end up moving out pretty quickly though! It gets noisy once it's full with the hustle & bustle, but not too much that you can't have conversation. I've had the same server twice in a row and they've been very attentive as well as friendly which sadly is hard to come by nowadays. I love to have somebody that actually has some personality! I decided to try the Banana Cheesecake French Toast this time with Biscoff crumb topping, and it was exactly as you would imagine! The cream cheese glaze was almost like a whipped texture and was the perfect amount of sweetness, plenty of bananas, and that crispy edge of that toast really made it! Ohh & the Cheesy Grits... second time getting them, and I will get them every time I come! The scallions are so fresh/strong, the little crock that it comes in is always burning hot so you can let them sit there while you eat your other food and don't have to worry about them being cold when you get to them, and the portion is HUGE! I also don't believe they add salt during cooking, which is probably good considering not everybody likes the same amount of saltiness, so add it at your heart's desire! (and pepper too of course) Basically what I'm saying is you can't go wrong having Breakfast at Tiffany's! I think I'll have to get a manhole pancake the next time I come, it's been too long!

(finally, Hermitage…read moregot something different) This place is super cute and cozy, has plenty of room to hang out, the employees were kind & sounded fun when I could hear them in the kitchen! I will say I am highly disappointed about my visit due to the quality of the food I received. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap was absolutely gorgeous while looking at it until I bit into it and discovered fatty bacon that I had to spit out as well as it not tasting very good. I ended up not finishing the wrap due to whatever the unpleasant flavor was accompanying the bacon because it tainted the entire thing. I will say the chicken and other ingredients seemed fine! The Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Latte was subpar, probably due to not making any customizations. It simply lacked flavor and just tasted like a mocha. I wish I hadn't spent $8 on it. One bad experience does not turn me off from trying a location again though, I know things happen and sometimes I don't pick the best menu items to try!

Ordering was very easy at the counter and the staff is friendly. We ordered a double espresso, espresso, hot honey mustard wrap, and buffalo chicken wrap. Somehow our order came out to almost $40. The decor in this place is cute. The wraps and coffee were good, but I am not sure any of it was worth what we paid for a casual cafe. I don't want to give it 3 stars because of pricing, but it's probably like 3.5 for that reason.

Great Food, But…read more... I stopped into the Hickory Bar and Grill while in the Hermitage area. The Hickory Bar and Grille has been around since 1998, and it is a local restaurant serving American cuisine, steaks, seafood dishes and pub-style foods. I actually went there to try one of their grilled items, but ended up having a Seafood Jambalaya from the featured menu. This was a very good take on Jambalaya as it was packed with fresh seafood, clams, and other related ingredients. I did have one glaring issue with the dish and the service. The Jambalaya had baby clams in it; however, the server did not warn me that the baby clams were in their shells. In that thick jambalaya broth, which I stirred and actually looked at before eating, the baby clams were well hidden. I took a few spoonfuls of the Jamabalaya, and on the third or fourth mouthful, I had a mouthful of clam shells. This was not cool, as I ended up with a small cut on my gums, nothing like the taste of blood while dining. The server did not drop a bowl for the shells on the table, so I did not expect the dish to have shells in it. She also did not mention that the dish had shells when she brought it to the table. I wasn't too happy that I had to pull chunks of clamshells out of my mouth either. This is an example of poor communication. The kitchen staff should have told the waitstaff that the jambalaya had shells in it, and the servers should have asked at the very least, "What's in it ? " before their shift. Another server came by the table and asked how everything was, and when I told them that the dish had shells in it, it did not faze her either; she just said ' oh yeah,' and sort of chuckled and walked away, no apology or action. I may try the Hickory Bar and Grille again one day, but I will go for what I originally went there for, steak or another grilled meat.
