I havnt been at eat park since covid hit, first the waitress was wonderful, but the breakfast buffet was bad, food was cold, and the variety was not like it used to be to be, cheap frozen pot when they use to be homemade the sausage was as thin as a penny, eggs had no flavor, and for14.99 wasn't worth it I will not go back, I'll go to The Dutch House in Columbia a Ohio, everything is homemade. Eat'n Park used to set the bar for breakfast, but no more it seems. Out of five locations in the area, none of them can seem to get it right anymore. From lousy presentation to small portions to salad bars where former standouts like pickled beet eggs and coleslaw are often absent...they are doing just enough to keep the name on the door. Unfortunately, they've been skating on a once good reputation for a while now. This visit in particular was at the Chippewa/Beaver Falls location on Rte. 51. Let's ignore the filthy tile floor and the tables of prize items (for what, I don't know) that barely left ADA compliant passage in the lobby...let's get right to the food. Eggs are about as basic as it gets, and most omelettes and scrambles use fully beaten eggs as their foundation. Not so here. The eggs for my scrambles were barely mixed leaving distinctly visible yolks and whites. Same with my wife's omelette, which presented more as a folded fried egg. My cold sausage obviously waited for a while before lukewarm eggs, and reasonably warm potatoes arrived in the kitchen to complete the plate. In addition, the Western part of my wife's Western omelette was uncooked. You don't put raw vegetables in an omelette and expect them to cook from the heat of the egg, a rookie mistake that has no place in a restaurant that was once known for breakfast. Finally, my waffle was served with a small cup of syrup placed directly on the waffle...a cup that was picked up with bare hands and placed on who knows what kitchen surface before it was placed on my food. Had lunch with a friend recently. Ordered the Strawberry Grilled Chicken Salad and it was perfect. The dressing was so good. Chicken served in slices on the salad and very juicy. Now I also had this same salad at another eat n park and was disappointed. The chicken was cut into small pieces and dry. This was our first time eating at this restaurant, we ate here our first night here in Pennsylvania. Hubby will be working here for a bit and the waitress and the food were wonderful. We came back a second time and much of the same. Great food and service. If you want a good meal at a reasonable price we think this is worth it. The chicken broccoli Alfredo was dry and not enough sauce. I ordered extra sauce and was told it was on there. The only thing that was edible was the in house made cheese sticks. The broccoli was barely streamed and the meal was NOT served at the proper temperature. My son had the salad bar the lettuce was nothing but pieces of core, the soup was barely at holding temperature. Worst experience of my life. Took forever for the waitress to take our order, to bring our drinks. But then a party of 5 females get seated across from us, waitress was attentive to their needs not ours. Empty coffee mugs, asked for refills and cream and sugar. Waited over 40 mins and still nothing. But the ladies who were seated 10 mins after us got their food. Waitress still hasn't acknowledged us, I asked for the check because at this time we've been waiting for about an hour. read more

Went hey are for breakfast with my family. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food to be delivered to us lukewarm. People that arrived 15 minutes after us got their breakfast right away. I submitted an email to eat 'n Park to complain about this and they didn't have the courtesy to respond to my email or call me back as requested. Needless to say I will never attend this restaurant again or franchise. I would highly suggest to give your business to a worthy local establishment such as the wolverine or Christy's. At least they care about their customers and provide hot meals when it's ordered. read more

I usually like Eat'n Park, but had a really bad experience at this location recently. I placed a carryout order to pick up at their drive-thru window on September 6th around 3:30 pm. I arrived about 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, and the woman at the window (with the help of another woman) was just starting to get my order ready in a hurry. Seemed unusual, but no big deal. I paid and also bought a pie (separately, as a second transaction), then went home. When I arrived home, I realized that they did not give me an appetizer that I had ordered. I double checked and it was on the receipt, so we paid for it. My husband also double checked the car in case it slid out of the bag or I missed it. It wasn't there. I call and initially someone from carryout picks up that sounds a lot like the woman who helped me at the window. I answered and said "Hi, I just picked up my order and I am missing my pretzel sticks." As soon as I finished speaking, the line hung up. At first, I thought we were disconnected, despite the perfect timing. If she couldn't hear me, I assumed she would have probably said hello a few times while I was speaking or would have waited several seconds after I was finished. Instead, she somehow managed to hang up the instant I stated why I was calling. I called right back and got the sound of a modem. Called right back again and got a Verizon message stating the line was busy or not working (I can't recall exactly because I didn't think this was going to be an issue so I wasn't taking notes). Again, maybe she hung up or maybe it was a technical issue - I can't prove or disprove either. I waited maybe 10 mins or so and called a fourth time and got through again. Went through my explanation again and was put on hold. This time, a man answered (who I assumed was a manager, although I don't recall him giving a name or specifying that). I explained the situation again and he said he would look into it and call me back in 10 minutes. So about 10 minutes later he calls and explains that his employees INSIST that I was given the missing item. I assured him that I wasn't. We checked everything and the appetizer wasn't there. He said he also checked security footage and it was "inconclusive." It seemed a bit extreme to me to check security footage over a $6 item, but I also understand the need to protect your business. So he said that he wasn't calling me or his employees liars, and since he can't prove anything, then he would have a fresh batch made for me. I told him that won't work because I cannot come back out to get them. At this point, we are already home and had already eaten and had other things to do. I just wanted a refund for the item. He said he cannot give refunds for online orders. The best he could do was mail a gift card for the amount of the item. I said that was fine if that's his only option. He took my mailing address and said it should arrive within a day or two. So here we are, about a week later and I have not received a gift card. I suspect that for whatever reason, this manager didn't believe me. I can't prove anything, but the weird phone issues seemed like the employees (or at least one) were trying to avoid a potential complaint. I could be wrong. Maybe the gift card is still on its way for some reason and it was all just a coincidence. If it arrives, I'll update my review. What also irks me, aside from them essentially keeping my $6 and giving me nothing in return for it, is that this wasn't a small order. After buying meals, the app, adding a tip and buying a pumpkin creme pie (as a second transaction), I ended up spending over $50 (probably closer to $60). I'm sure they get much higher orders, but it seems like a decent amount to spend at a low-price restaurant to then try and "swindle" them out of a $5.99 appetizer. I mean, why would I tip if I was going to try and trick them out of money? Seems counterproductive. I should also note that I don't have a history of calling about missing items or anything like that. Maybe I had one in the past that I don't recall. If I do, it's no more than one. It's not like this is something I do all the time. At least then, I could understand why they might get weirdly adamant about not doing anything to make it right. I thought about calling back out of principle since the manager or whoever he was didn't follow through on his promise of a gift card. But at this point, it's getting ridiculously involved. I want to warn others. If you use their carry out window, I would check EVERYTHING before you pull away. Once you do, they may not believe you if they mess up your order. I really feel like I got screwed here so I will not be returning in the future. UPDATE: gift card arrived, so I'm raising a star. I was told it would take a few days, but was more like 2 weeks. I'm far from thrilled with the experience, but they eventually made good on the agreed-to solution. read more

They took literally all the good foods off their menu and left horrible choices. Water or soda was the only choice. Our bill was over $40 and it was not worth it. I come to Eat n Park for the memory of my grandmother bringing me here 40 years ago....I left PA 33 yeas ago so coming home every few years always requires a trip for cookies and grilled stickies (usually the Natrona Heights location). That is the exact place we went when I was a little girl. I got my cookies and Cheri went out of her way to get me 3 orders of grilled stickies so that I could continue my visit home like always. They did not have any in the bakery section, but she went to the kitchen and made it happen. The fact that she took the time to listen to my story about why they were important and why I "needed" them was very appreciated. Especially when I'm in town only for my grandfather's funeral. A great customer service experience. I can go back to San Francisco happy now! read more

Well to start we walked in and every server was out smoking and made us wait 10 minutes to be sat down. Trust me it gets better. Once we were sat we waited well over 15 minutes for milkshakes ( place is dead btw ). After that we waited over 40 minutes for food and get the wonderful excuse that the grill is broke. Now after an hour we get the food and it was completely wrong and the turkey was bad. Please everyone stand clear of this place and don't go through this headache. read more

I ordered the rosemary chicken with a side of the garlic toast. The chicken was advertised as being served with sautéed mushrooms and a white wine sauce. When i received my meal the chicken was extremely dry and tough to chew, the mushrooms were not sautéed they looked as if they were dumped on raw from the packaging. The white wine sauce was bland and runny and the garlic butter on my horribly burnt toast was lumpy and smelled rancid as if someone had blown a load all over it. On top of the terrible food my waitress had to be corrected over four times before bringing me the correct items from my meal and on each correction she rolled her eyes and developed a terrible attitude. Completely unacceptable of a woman her age if i must say so myself. Hopefully she takes the extremely generous $7 tip i left her and uses it to invest in a hearing aid. Honestly the worst meal i've had in years your kitchen staff are in need of some serious cooking lessons and your wait staff need an urgent attitude adjustment. If i could give zero stars i would most definitely. P.S- after eating at your restaurant i began to feel very ill i was puking and crapping like a madman. From the moment we sat down we were treated like a nuisance. My husband ordered coffee and I had a breakfast sandwich. He sat with an empty cup for 25 mins. Eat n park use to be one of my favorite places but lately it seems like it's really gone down hill. The food isn't nearly as good as it was before and the prices are way too high for what you're getting. I do like the fact that it's one of the only options around the area that's open late that is not fast food though. If you're going to go I would recommend getting the breakfast smile, it's still pretty good and fairly priced. read more

I was very disappointed with our meal tonight Nov.8,2017. To begin with we didn't get any rolls with our dinner. We asked for more water and we had to call the waitress who was serving us (Samantha 39655) cause she forgot. My Mother never got her sausage patty that came with her meal. WE didn't feel that Eat n Park was extremely busy. No lines waiting to be seated. We also thought that it took to long to be served with our meal. We come frequently and was very displeased.
