This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is wonderful! It's super cute. They have a ton of lemon themed decor right now and definitely give off the family diner vibe. The staff working there are a variety of ages and the woman behind the check out counter was the sweetest elderly woman ever. The wait staff are friendly and the kitchen is quick even on a busy weekend. My friend and I had brunch and everything was delicious. I thought the prices were fair for the quality and quantity of food. Parking is along the side of the building in a small lot or along the street out front. read more

Good, simple food in a nice, clean place. Not many outsiders here (except me) - this is the place the locals go. Including the Tuesday ladies bowling league. The place was packed. Hard to choose, but a Rueben sandwich always gets my attention. And this one did not disappoint! If you like a good Rueben, do it. You won't regret it. read more

Got to witness an old man whom I assume is the owner throwing a plate across the table a family was eating at and then yanking plates away from the table and shouting at them to leave (the little kid at the table looked scared). And then as they left, I got to hear one of them yelling at the old man not to touch him. Fun. The woman clearing tables splashed me with mystery liquid as she emptied out glasses, our waitress was extremely short and dismissive coming to take our order, and we had to wait eons for refills for anything as the waitresses seemed more keen to talk to regulars than to wait on tables. Food was absolutely to DIE for, though. Whoever was cooking is seriously talented. I'd still skip this place, though. The owner needs anger management. read more

Connie's is a nice small town spot . I have ate here many times and it is always consistent, breakfast is my favorite here . They always run lunch & dinner specials, nice sized portions. This is a good family friendly spot , the staff is always very friendly and attentive. The prices are fair food is decent. Connnie's stays pretty busy so food is always fresh , decent sized menu ,,, omelets are very good my go to for breakfast. When i eat here for lunch or dinner i usually just order the special and always leave satisfied. read more

We were headed to the area for sports and decided to get some breakfast beforehand. This place was a hit. They had options that made it reasonable for a large family and seated us at a large round table right away. The service was warm, efficient and I heard "smack your grandma good" about one of the dishes which was the perfect way to finish this review. Highly recommend. read more

Great local diner for breakfast if you're visiting the state park or just passing through. We nabbed a free parking spot on the side of the building and then got a booth inside. Our server was nice, and the kitchen was fast. Hubby couldn't finish his berry pancakes, but my plate of biscuits and gravy was just the right size. Speaking of size, his orange juice was HUGE. Not sure anyone needs that much liquid sugar and pulp in the morning. The price was right. Didn't check out the restrooms while we were there. read more

OMG! If you're ever passing through Chester WV, or you live here and don't know about Connie's, please become acquainted. They have specials and serve the entire menu all day, which means breakfast. I had the pecan pancake and a side of bacon. I thought I'd get a pancake with some caramel pecans on top or something. Nope. Pecans cooked right in there so you get pecans in every bite. The pancake was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and they bring you warm syrup. I got six pieces of bacon with my order. They make their sweet tea here. Hubs had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing. So was Sonia our server. Such a darling lady. Don't pass this up. read more

We frequent Connie's a lot. One of the few breakfast place we have in the area. Great people good service and the food is well worth it.

Great off the road find today. Very friendly and great service. The chicken soup was great, large pieces of chicken, carrots and homemade noodles with tasty broth. Meatloaf and mash potatoes was excellent. Hamburger was cooked medium and not dried out, with fries. Side note, Chester West VA is also home to the largest Teapot.. read more

Delicious meal with friendly service. I had a ny strip that was on special and although it was a bit overcooked(I really don't mind) it still had good flavor. We went back the next day for breakfast, and as is customary with any diner-type breakfast, everything was delicious. I had a mix of eggs, potatoes, toast and bacon for my breakfast; my sister had the French today's (which I tasted and it was amazing), and my nieces had pasta. Yes pasta(they are odd eaters)which they were nice enough to cook for us. Food is served on fiesta ware, as the factory is in the next town over. read more

My wife and had to stay in the area for a few days. We were so impressed with Connie's Corner that we planned several meals to be eaten there during our stay. Very friendly attentive service. The homemade soups were exceptional delicious. And each of the entrees that we had were generous portions and tasted wonderful. The restaurant is very clean and has the cozy cafe atmosphere. Not sure what the other restaurants are like in the area. But you can not go wrong with choosing Connie's for dining. read more

Definitely more of a locals place. Seems like a routine for most of the patrons that were there this morning. After we stood for a while our waitress told us to sit anywhere and she was quick with our food. Silverware had old food dried to it. I stayed anyways. Usually an automatic walk out for me. Had to use alternates that were spotty. The food and experience was bland tbh..Not a bad place, just not for me, and definitely seemed busy this morning. Dinner and lunch menu looks good. Wanted to try something different so we stopped in. Not likely to return tbh but it's worth a shot. read more

Have been loyal patrons and handsome tippers at Connie's for some time. Waited outside (as we were told to do by Donna) in the heat for 20 minutes. When I saw the people in front of us seated. Went in to ask what was going on. Donna asked us our name again. I mean we eat at Connie's at least twice every weekend?? She had scratch's our name off. Then Donna said "I went outside (again were she told me wife to wait while I circled the block 5 times looking for a parking space) and called your name". No you didn't as we were standing right outside the door I'm the 90 degree heat. Done! read more
