We've always heard about this place but never made the trip so decided to now for something new. It was dark so I'm not sure if we parked in the appropriate lot or not. We were unsure where the door was but found it. When you walk in there is a bar area and then the dining area in next room. It is a right squeeze, let's just say I'm glad my husband didn't join us or he would not have fit at the table. The menu had a great selection, I wish we would have tried and appetizer or our meal came with a salad, every table got these bowls of salad but us. The bread was delicious. You will not go hungry with portion sizes either. I did not see any desserts around so maybe next time. The food was good, the service was lacking a little on a Friday evening. Granted our party came later than scheduled, we waiting over an hour for food. Had to flag down the hostess to get refills as well. Then when we ask about our food status, we are told that the food hasn't even been started to be cooked yet. And the manager is sitting at the bar talking, doing nothing. I'll never return. Our waiter was kind and was trying to keep up with the tables. I appreciate his effort to get our order promptly. Unfortunately management doesn't seem to care about guests. read more

The staff was decent. The waitress was friendly, but could've been better, honestly. The look of the inside, as you can see, is okay, but nothing great. When you walk in, there's an ATM & lottery vending machines in the waiting area. It was a little loud tonight, too. Overall, the place is decent, but nothing too great. I have been coming here for years and realized it was time for a review. On a Saturday night expect to have a wait, as most other restaurants. Fairly smaller restaurant and there a bar and bar seating. The house made potato chips good. They are lightly seasoned and comes with a dipping sauce. Family house salad is a standard Italian salad: cubes of salmi and cheese, black olives, red onion, banana peppers, etc. I got the Italian hot sausage pepper bake. I usually get this every time I'm here. Portion is huge huge, enough for two (some dishes come in a 1/2 size, I of course always forget to ask about this one). This dish is fully loaded! We stopped here on the way home from the Fiesta Outlet in WV - we got there around 3:30pm on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, so we got seated right away. It's a dark restaurant, but don't be fooled. It's some of the best Italian food that I've had. To start, I ordered a cup of the wedding soup - it was very good. We also ordered the fried zucchini as an appetizer- it was very fresh and delicious. They also provide you with warm bread. Ooh, it was very good. For my entree, I ordered the dinner portion of the chicken parmigiana. It was a very nice portion of chicken and pasta - enough to take for lunch the next day! Disregard what others say about the interior.The neighborhood is in a rough area, but the restaurant itself has its own parking and is a little cozy eating spot with a fenced off back deck. I work in the area and have always seen this place on my yelp radar. Friendly workers, comfortable environment, but what really did it for me was the food- the food was outstanding and the portions were huge, all at a reasonable price. I got the shrimp diablo- tasted delicious and creamy with a perfect kick that doesnt overwhelm the eater. Tasted wonderful. The Homemade wedding soup is very very good (get it for sure!) but just slightly a little too salty for my "perfection" grade.
