I have bookmarked this for a few months now and so happy to have finally dined here. Eathai is one of the most impressive Thai spots in Boca. The ambience, quality of food and service, plus the plating/presentation was top notch. Love the spacious and modern/trendy ambience. There's a wall that separates the left side (restaurant) from the right side (bar/cocktail lounge). There's ample parking in the plaza. The menu is pretty expansive and truly lives up to the "modern" yet authentic take on Thai food. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a standout -- perfectly blistered, sweet and savory at the same time with just enough crunch. Super tasty! The Dry Rub Thai Chicken Wings was another highlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a seasoning blend that hits you with layers of flavor instead of just heat. I am used to chicken wings that are drizzled with sauce and this dry rub wings was such a nice surprise. This is honestly some of the best wings you'll find in a Thai restaurant. The Grilled Lamb Satay was beautifully plated -- smoky, and marinated just right. Paired with the peanut sauce and the refreshing cucumber-onion relish, it was a solid dish. Would have preferred the meat to be more tender though. The Jumbo Lump Meat Crab Fried Rice was comforting, served with a spicy green chili sauce. I was warned by our server that the green sauce is spicy, so I tempered the heat by adding more fish sauce. Generous chunks of real crab, fragrant rice, and well‑seasoned flavors. Service is efficient (will update this with the name of our server next time) and warm. The chef/owner is So. He is funny, friendly and hospitable and he makes his rounds to visit every table checking how everything is. This restaurant is now in our rotation for top Asian eats in Boca. If you're looking for Thai food with heart, flavor, and attention to detail, this place is a must try!
Great authentic Thai food, beautiful ambiance and decor, friendly staff! The newly renovated EatThai is a perfect place for date night or to catch up with friends. It's airy, open spaced with a great bar serving very unique cocktails. Our papaya salad was a nice big portion with a lot of toppings like pork rinds and dried shrimp. The flavor was strong and bold, even at a spice level of 1 out of 5, it was plenty spicy for my weak tolerance. For entrees, I had the crispy duck breast with lychee curry sauce. It was a thick pieces of breast with lean meat and a nice edge of fat with skin. It's lightly breaded and added to the sauce with bell peppers, lychee and basil leaves. The ratio is definitely a lot more sauce to ingredients. The curry is tangy, sweet and mildly spicy. Good flavor. My husband's Kao Soi was loaded with toppings and had a nice portion of noodles below. He said it was reminiscent of his days in Thailand where he could find something similar on the street carts. The crispy noodles on top adds great texture to the soft beef and pickled greens.
Food is very good. We tried Brussel sprouts appetizer off of the specials menu. They were crunchy and well sauced. For the meal I tried tofu with vegetables. I tried to order a few things to customize as vegan and it seems that is no longer an option. Essentially they created a dish that is vegan - even the tofu dishes have fish sauce in them so definitely something to be aware of. I was excited to try the mushroom salad from a previous review but they informed me it was not possible. The food was definitely still good, a variety of veggies and tofu ( can choose fried or steamed) with sticky rice. My boyfriend tried the oxtail fried rice and said it was very good. Highlight of the meal was Thai tea. Our server was not very attentive we found ourselves waiting to see her for a while more than once but they were busy when we arrived. I will say the busser girl who cleaned the tables checked in with us more and she deserves a promotion truly. Ambiance inside was nice.
Went on a Saturday night to Eathai with 2 Thai food lovers and 1, reluctant not so much a fan of this cuisine who left all in, saying "when are we going back?" The vibe is relaxed, clean and comfortable. Large rectangular tables can fit parties of 6-8. There is a separate room with a bar. We had a reservation, but at 7pm, we probably did not need one. Many of the guests were Thai families. I started with a less-lychee syrup, Lychee Martini. It hit the spot. It was $15. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share that came out pretty quickly but not all at once. Dry brine chicken wings were spicy and sweet but still tender and juicy. I wish there were a dipping sauce. I probably could have asked for something but now I know. A tuna ceviche comes with shrimp chips. The tuna was plentiful nestled with cilantro, red onion and chili pepper. The fish could have been cut better, but I nitpick. Chicken Pad Thai was maybe the best I have ever eaten. The chef used restraint with his fish sauce so the dish was less "funky" as it can be sometimes in other establishments. The papaya salad was good, I would not run back for it. I know people who love a good papaya salad, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. The Thai food non-lover had a shrimp dish that came with rice. It was fairly basic with some thai basil, onion and peppers. He enjoyed the straightforward and simple preparation. And lastly we had the crab fried rice which was just ok in my book. I wish the rice were not so mushy. There was plenty of crabmeat on top, but I thought the dish tasted too "eggy". Next visit I hope to get the duck, the spicy-grilled chicken and other shareables. I won't forget the pad Thai. I could eat that every day.
We always are impressed with the food here and this visit was no different. It was close to Christmas and they were very busy. We called for a table and it was ready when we got there. We ordered a few appetizers which came quickly. Loved the beef jerky and coconut shrimp. The jerky was very thin slices of beef with a delicious flavor. I had my favorite dish, Salmon parang curry and just loved it. The panko crusted salmon and skin were crunchy and perfectly cooked and was made even better with the fabulous curry sauce and veggies. This dish is a must try. Our friends had eggs Benny noodles, pad thai, shrimp tom yum frid rice, and short rob curry. Everything was excellent and most the plates were wiped clean. They brought a rolled thai tea ice cream for the birthday boy. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem when you want yummy Thai food.
Was craving Thai so a quick google search brought up Eathai-- and glad it did! Nestled in a mini strip center off federal highway lies this gem. Very clean and modern decor with a quaint bar area separated by a wall. Very friendly and attentive service with great food as well. The enoki stuffed mushroom was very unique and chicken pad Thai was very flavorful. My friend enjoyed the cashew chicken. Will definitely return to try more dishes and the cocktail menu had some interesting choices as well for next time.
Wait guys... the waitress was so nice. And waiter. And food. And bro do u see this ambiance? I think they done ate with that, just like I done ate the food. Waiter deadass packed it for me, all w's here. Also the shots were so good they had whipped cream I don't even live in Florida like that but lowkey might have to pu again next time we see grandma
EaThai has officially made the move from Delray to East Boca, and the new space is a major upgrade. Industrial-chic meets Thai cocktail lounge, with a glowing bar, moody lighting, and a sharper menu to match. We started with the lychee mojito, light and minty, and a Thai iced tea martini, rich and creamy--basically dessert in a glass. The food was dialed in across the board. The double mushroom salad was savory and sneakily spicy, tossed with lime, herbs, and chili oil. The Chinese sausage salad with fried egg was a standout--sweet, spicy, citrusy, and topped with a perfectly runny egg. Watch out for those bird chiles. The lemongrass shrimp came in a luscious Thai chili sauce, like a Penang curry with extra punch. And the crab fried rice was simple but done right, with a generous topping of real lump crab. Great service, polished space, and bold flavors. EaThai 2.0 is already one of the best Thai spots in Boca.
Finally made it to the new Eathai location in East Boca, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely incredible--just as delicious as I remembered, if not better. They've upped the experience with a full bar now, featuring an impressive lineup of custom cocktails that are as creative as they are tasty. Bonus: they're currently offering a summer happy hour special with 50% off drinks from noon to 6 PM--a great excuse to indulge a little earlier in the day. We sat at the bar and had excellent customer service. Our bartender was attentive and extremely helpful! The new location has more seating with the classic charm of the original Eathai location. 10/10 - hands down the best authentic Thai food in South Florida. Highly recommend!
We came in for lunch for the first time and already had a great vibe on the place. Earthy deco. When we looked at the menu, it was the size of the table. No readers needed . Very authentic Thai restaurant. We over ordered because we wanted to try everything and so was thinking of taking home leftovers. But everything was so good, we finished it all. We had the spicy cream tom yum soup with salmon. Delish. Hot till the last drop. Pad Thai, very nicely stirred fried. Chicken Larb and papaya salad. We ended with the coconut pudding. So delish. Nice texture and warm. Will definitely come back again and bring friends.
Great service, chill ambiance. The Khao Soi had Very good flavor, tender meat. Will come back
Love this place just dont get here enough. Got a lunch special this visit, Prit King Chicken. These are priced very well. Cant get that dish everywhere. It was delicious, flavorful and the level 6 spice was perfect! Opted for salad over soup cuz their peanut sauce is the BOMB! Had their shrimp fresh rolls to start as I do every visit. They are fantastic - packed, fresh, flavorful! Service is always prompt, friendly. Place is clean and nicely decorated- not usual kitche and tastefully done. Parking can be a challenge so be patient but otherwise definitely worth a visit or more!
We came here based off a friend recommendation and wow what a win! Our server was Max and he gave fantastic recommendations and was on top of everything at all times. We started with the Thai wings. Then we had the green curry short rib special, the egg Benedict cashew garlic egg noodle and ended with the Thai ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was incredible. I will definitely be back and I definitely recommend to everyone and ask for Max.

HOLY MOTHER OF THAI! --- I bow down. Thank God some good Thai made it's way to Delray because we have been lacking in the ethnic dept. I am so glad that Eathai showed up close to home, because House of Siam couldn't be the only joint! We're talking authentic Thai food with a NY attitude. If you know what you're talking about by Thai standards, then give Eathai a chance. I stopped by after reading mixed reviews. It's local to me and I was craving Thai food around 5pm. I showed up and asked to place a to-go order. I had set in my mind that I'd take food to-go because I had no idea how it looked inside. After the fact that I probably should have just dined in. The decor inside reminds me of an upscale gastro-pub. It is so chic! I had no idea that there would be such a great vibe with gorgeous decor. I decided to take advantage of happy hour ($3 beer, $4 wine) while I waited on my order of Cashew Chicken. I enjoyed sipping my chardonnay at the marble bar until my order was ready. And it was ready fast! I almost ordered an appetizer because I assumed it would take a while and it didn't! 2 Glasses of wine later and I left a happy camper. Had a lovely chat with owner/chef - love that he's Thai/NY, understands good food and supports local (see beer list, all local Florida Breweries, except Sapporo on tap). Very excited that he is getting his food integrated into the local food scene! Bring on the ethnic food in Delray! Fast forward: I'm home and open my Cashew Chicken and sticky Jasmine rice - Eathai take a bow! I couldn't get enough! Flavor, deliciously balanced between sweet and salty, ratio of chicken to veggies - spot on, taste factor, portion size - couldn't have been more perfect! Absolutely delish, exactly what Delray needed - Thank You Eathai for gracing us with your foodiness! You're a star in the making! read more

Eathai is a cozy lil Thai place in Delray. I came here with friends past lunch hour so parking and seating inside was no issue. Soup or salad is given during the lunch hours and I got the soup. It was chicken and cucumber and the broth was nice and light. I got the pad thai with chicken as my meal. It was my first time eating pad thai and it was really good! It was a huge portion and the chickens were a lot and big. Next was the main event for me: the rolled ice cream! It was fun to pick and watch the ice cream being made. I had green tea mixed in with kit kat and drizzled with condensed milk. So good! I really enjoyed this place overall! Service was prompt and the lady who took our orders readily clarified menu items with us too if needed. read more

So I'm not a fan of Thai food but I went here with my family and they loved it. I'm a fan of their rolled ice cream. It's delicious and tastes fresh. You can make your own creation or choose their set flavors they have. I made my own creation and it was bomb. I chose the original base with banana and strawberry as my mix ins, fruit loops as my topping and caramel for my drizzle. At first when the guy was making the ice cream concoction I thought it wasn't gonna be enough but I thought wrong! It is an adequate amount that will definitely fill you up. I think the tables and chairs are really cool they're benches. They have dim lighting which is okay I wish it could be a little brighter but it doesn't bother me. It has a warm and welcoming vibe to it. I went here for my friends birthday and they hooked her up with a free drink and played the happy birthday song for her. They put a candle in her rolled ice cream it was so cute! They definitely make sure their customers get the best service. What's really cool about this place is that you don't have to dine in to get your ice cream you can just walk in and head straight to the ice cream station, which is what I do. Overall it's a cool place if you like Thai food, rolled ice cream and a cool hip restaurant to go to. read more

Came here because of the Thai ice cream roll hype, when we first got here we ordered Thai iced tea and the favor is overly sweet but without the tea favor. The food was great and freshly made. But surprisingly when we ordered the thai tea favor Thai ice cream roll , it turns out the Thai tea favor in the ice cream roll is better than the Thai tea itself. Overall , the server are very attentive and I like the modern touch of the restaurant environment. read more

Eathai is a hip place that we had no idea existed. The chef has creative new takes on traditional Thai dishes. The flavors are incredible! I have always liked Pad Thai, but after tasting theirs, I am not sure I could eat it anywhere else, and not be disappointed. All of the ingredients tasted fresh except one. If I have to come up with any complaints, it would be that the lamb satay came out a little cold. Also, the chicken in the Pad Thai had a translucency and color consistent with cheap Chinese food, which was disappointing. The amazing burst of flavors make up for the chicken just enough that I would give it another try! We also enjoyed the coconut shrimp and crab fried rice. They put the sauce on the side so it is not too spicy! We are going to take the kids back tomorrow night! read more

Excellent flavo. You have to try the chicken massaman! Wasn't sure about it because I've always had beef massaman. The chicken just fell apart with a fork! Crab fried rice had good chunks of real crab, but could have had a little more egg in it. The spicy pad Thai with bean thread noodles was different but flavor was on point. The only complaint are the prices. Kinda steep in my opinion. Paid $12 for three ice teas ($4 each!). read more

Very cool little spot, probably fits 30 or so people. Hustling staff, personable and cheery. The owner came around and said hello and actually made convos with most tables. The place is such a cute date spot! It's a great modern take on Thai food. We started off with the thai tea and chicken french toast...um YUM! You can tell that the chef really cares about the presentation and taste of the food. I got the skinny chicken pad thai and asked for it to be very spicy. And it was incredibly spicy like I wanted The owner even came out to check on us. He's a nice, down to earth guy. Overall, it was a five-star experience.
