Excellent food. We had the Reuben French dip, chicken cordon blue sandwich, cheeseburger, and grilled cheese. The fries and chips that came with them were amazing. Friendly staff. Cute seating area. A welcoming place with great food. Highly recommend. Don't forget to get some chocolate chip cookies when you're done with your meal!

What a fantastic place! Great attention to detail. Super tiny and charming. Only about 6 tables. We got there before 8am and immediately got a table. The Saturday special is chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy and not greasy. The waffle batter was definitely from scratch and delicious. It was served with warm syrup. My sister order a side of hash which was very slightly dry but definitely homemade. Our server was attentive and genuine. She offered us homemade apple butter and fresh made muffins. This is a fabulous breakfast place. We will definitely return.

Very small and cozy. Only seats 16.

Don't be intimidated by the looks from the outside. I came here because of recent fellow yelpers reviews. The food is fresh made to order and really good. I ordered the Chicken Waldorf Salad. The greens were fresh, the apples were sliced to order, the chicken was moist and it was lightly dressed with My colleague ordered the Rachel sandwich. The Rachel was a grilled sandwich with fresh turkey breast, cheese house made coleslaw with a side of fresh house made potato chips. I believe the server was the own and only one person handling patrons. She seemed to know almost everyone that came in as they seem to be regulars. There were plenty of specials and specialty teas available. I am in the area again tomorrow and if I have time I will stop by for lunch. The only negative is that it is a very small dining area and seats about 16 people max. Make the trip and don't let the looks from the outside change your mind.

This is a very small, quaint, and trendy place to grab lunch. The service is nice and quick, but the restaurant mainly does takeout orders. They also offer homemade drinks along with smoothies which were very tasty. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

    Kids burger and fries....HUGE!

A very small restaurant that is easy to miss as you're passing by. There are maybe enough seats inside for 20 people, no more. We entered and were quickly greeted, and they helped us pull some tables together for a group of six. The inside was clean, and low frills. We placed our drink orders and were told they were "only serving lunch" at this time. I found that a little odd, given that it is well advertised as a brunch place, but nonetheless we all ordered some sandwiches. The prices are VERY reasonable for everything on the menu. The kid's burger was rather large for a kid's meal, but no complaints with that I suppose. The Rachel was solid, with freshly toasted bread and delicious roasted turkey. Coleslaw was decent, a little on the bland side. The other sandwiches were all enjoy by all in our party. They have sweet potato fries, which were delicious. I look forward to coming back sometime and trying their "chicken and waffles" and breakfast items. The table next to us ordered it and it looked incredible. Overall a good experience, a little bit of a hidden gem. The prices make it a great find in Springfield!

A hidden gem in Springfield! Every once in a while, I have cravings for chicken and waffles. While I was spending some time in Western Massachusetts, I had the opportunity to try this place. This is a cute little restaurant! You must order the chicken and waffles here! It is so delicious. Their waffles is a churro batter waffle. The cinnamon-y, sweet flavor pairs well with the savory fried chicken. And the syrup hits the spot. It was everything that I asked for and more. We also tried the omelet and it was so filling. The price is fair and the service is superb. I am actually surprised to find a restaurant like this out in Springfield. I definitely recommend trying this place if you are ever in the area!

    Delicious spicy cheeseburger

Was in the area and looked this place up on Yelp. The food was delicious, nothing really special, just a local place where you can count on the food being great. The green tea is amazing and I liked that it was topped with mint. You don't see that often. I ordered the spicy cheeseburger and it was cooked just right and the fresh cut fries made for a nice compliment. My friend ordered the buffalo wrap, she asked that they make it with jack cheese instead of buffalo (weirdo I know) and they said they went able to accommodate with annoyed her. Overall if you're in the area and need a place that's a solid choice for lunch I highly recommend you come here!

The back corner. It's so quaint!

The home made apple butter will knock your socks off! In the winter with no outside seating there are only 5 tables, but so worth it

Great food, and very reasonably priced. I would definitely visit again. However, interior seating is very limited.

My wife and I went to Frigo's today (a Saturday). I ordered the "Classic Italian" and she got the cream of broccoli soup. Suffice to say, my grinder did not look anything like the featured photo on Yelp. For the "Classic Italian", I was expecting quality Italian bread loaf. Instead, what I got was a small, spongey, insipid roll of inferior quality. The meats were pre-cut and rolled into a small "cigar" that went into the grinder roll. This caused the sandwich to be unbalanced: when taking a bite from the left side, I got some meat, but when biting from the right side, all I got was veggies and bread. The sandwich was a chore to finish and I only continued to stave off hunger. Overall, the quality wasn't great. I have eaten much better Italian grinders at lesser known establishments. My wife complained that the cream of broccoli soup had an overpowering flavor of onions. I tried and spoonful and have to say I agree. The one redeeming quality is that the food was relatively affordable, with the "Classic Italian" costing $10 and the cup of soup costing $3. Maybe other grinders or pre-made dishes are better, but after considering what we got, we will not be back.

We've both celebrated many a special occasion here in the 90s and this time was no different. I was extremely happy to see that absolutely nothing had changed. That kind of reliability is exactly what you want from your favorite restaurant back home. You basically want to leave it in a time capsule and walk back in after 30 years to find it right as you had left it. The place was bustling per usual. The server was fantastic. The wine was great. The house salad and house dressing were so good they made me want to scarf down vegetables. But the meatball grinder... THE MEATBALL GRINDER!!! (I now live in a place where we call them subs, but nothing compares to a good grinder.) It was culinary perfection: the bread was golden and crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The perfect balance of bread, sauce, cheese, and meatball. And the flavor of the meatball itself was perfectly seasoned and balanced. I'm already 100 miles away and I'm still thinking about it and will be for days... weeks... MONTHS! Until next time

They gave us a buzzer, told us it would be about 25 minutes, and we went into the bar to have a glass of wine and wait. I must say the chaos was beautifully controlled. Lots of room in the bar, and a spot to order drinks if you couldn't get a seat at the bar. Generous pour on the wine. And sure enough, about 25 minutes later our table was ready. Waitress was friendly, helpful, professional. Servings were more than ample. Fried calamari appetizer was delicious, crispy, not at all greasy. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken dish. I, however, was disappointed, and I blame myself. I should know better than to order eggplant at a restaurant. If I'm ordering eggplant rollatini, I'd like to taste the eggplant. I don't know why restaurants insist on slicing it so thin that you can't actually taste the eggplant, just the breading. It's not that it's an expensive ingredient, it's gotta be cheaper than the cheese....anyway, I'd go back but hopefully I have learned my lesson - if I want to taste eggplant, I'll cook it myself.
