The fair was affordable especially given that baggage was included unlike some other budget airlines. One thing is that the seats are really, really tight. Even in business class on a short flight, they don't actually have different seats, they just don't book the seat in between two people.

When we finally were told to board, we were yelled for not having our passports ready, even though it was a local flight and we were not told previously to have them out. We were flying business class, and the seats did not even have extra leg room. It was a short flight, but business class amounted to sitting in front and receiving a snack and drink. Then we arrived in Madrid, where after 90 minutes, we started to ask, and an employee told us they were coming and we just have to wait, but we hadn't even given him our flight number yet! The next person we spoke to confirmed they were lost. They told us that we could buy replacement clothing and essentials and we would be reimbursed. Over the course of 3 days, they never contacted us, forcing me to call them repeatedly for updates, only to be told to go buy more clothes. The only instruction we were given was to avoid "luxury items" which we did. In the end, we sent in all our receipts to be told that they were reimbursing less than half our expenses because "only 2 of 4 bags were delayed for 2 days.." When I corrected them that 2 of 2 (all) bags were delayed for 3 days, they said that did not change their reimbursement calculation. I will avoid Iberia at all costs in the future and recommend everyone do the same.

Important details were handled before departure, allowing travelers to focus on the reason behind the journey rather than the demands of organizing it. Whether the trip involved a major professional responsibility, a meaningful personal celebration, or an anticipated international escape, every stage began with greater confidence and the assurance that comfort, timing, and individual priorities had already been given careful attention. **The Hours Before Takeoff Gain a Calmer Rhythm** Premium travel transformed the airport experience through efficient procedures, dedicated assistance, and refined spaces designed to make every moment before boarding more useful. Priority services helped travelers complete formalities with greater ease, while comfortable departure environments offered time to finish important work, enjoy refreshments, review upcoming plans, or simply pause before the flight. Each transition unfolded with quiet order, creating a departure experience that felt purposeful, composed, and naturally connected from terminal arrival to takeoff. **A Cabin That Gives Every Choice More Freedom** The business class cabin offered a sophisticated environment where generous space, intelligent design, and personal comfort adapted naturally to the changing pace of the journey. Elegant seating, carefully arranged lighting, intuitive controls, practical storage, and refined interiors created a versatile setting for productivity, dining, entertainment, and rest. Travelers could move smoothly between focused preparation and peaceful relaxation, shaping each hour around their own preferences while maintaining privacy, flexibility, and a steady sense of ease above the clouds. **Inflight Care That Finds the Right Moment** The inflight experience was elevated through hospitality delivered with warmth, discretion, and genuine awareness of individual preferences. Thoughtfully prepared cuisine, premium beverage selections, curated entertainment, and refined onboard amenities added enjoyment while preserving the calm character of the cabin. Professional crew members remained attentive without becoming intrusive, offering assistance with confidence and care whenever it was appropriate. Every interaction felt natural, polished, and sincere, creating service that supported the traveler without interrupting the personal flow of the flight. **Arrival Brings the Journey into Clear Continuity** The premium experience continued after landing through coordinated services designed to preserve time, comfort, and onward momentum. Priority baggage handling, dependable airport guidance, and efficient arrival assistance helped travelers move beyond the terminal without unnecessary delay or confusion. Whether continuing toward an important meeting, welcoming accommodation, a connecting flight, or the first experience of a new destination, each transition carried forward the same reliability and thoughtful organization established before departure. **The Journey Leaves the Traveler Fully Available** Business class brought careful planning, airport efficiency, refined cabin comfort, personalized hospitality, and seamless arrival support together as one complete travel experience. Its value appeared in the way every stage reduced distraction while protecting energy, attention, and emotional balance. By the time travelers stepped into the destination, the journey had not claimed their best focus; it had preserved it for the conversation, responsibility, reunion, or discovery that mattered most.

Finally arrived 5 days later and I picked it up from the airport literally in the nick of time to head to a cruise, where my luggage never would have found me. Air Europa - Interior of 787 plane (Madrid to Barça)

I have flow with AirEuropa about 5-6 times, all connecting through Madrid. I specifically chose…read morethem since they are a SkyTeam partner, and they offer pretty cheap fares. You're able to bring on a personal item and carry on baggage (they also don't seem to weigh carry on bags, unlike budget carriers). Notably, as a SkyTeam elite member you get a free checked bag and seat selection for regular seats on a basic economy ticket. Pretty good benefits, when things go right. Well the drawbacks are that AirEuropa has been late on half of the flights I've been on, specifically the Madrid-Barcelona route on their Boeing 787 (Flight UX7703), which seems to have a bunch of mechanical problems. The times I've been on this route, it's been delayed due to mechanical issues. Other routes I've been on (Malaga, Lisbon, Frankfurt) are on their 737, and I haven't had as many issues with those flights (if any, a very minor 20-30min delay if any). When you factor flight time, going to the airport, security, and then add on top the delay, it's definitely faster taking the train vs flying MAD-BCN in the experiences I've had. Even though AirEuropa is considered a "main line" carrier, its domestic European routes do not include any amenities (eg no free snacks or drinks). But this is to be expected as it is part of the growing trend of lowering costs by the European air carriers, to be competitive with budget rivals like Easyjet, Ryanair, and Wizz. Now this begs the question? Would I fly with them again? Yes, but not on the Madrid-Barcelona 787 route. I don't recommend this route. I have had too many big delays on this route, that in the future I would prefer to avoid it. But other routes? Definitely, if the price is good.

I would rather pay twice as much for the tickets than go through this experience again. terrible customer service and communication, over an extra $300 for baggage, the SMALLEST seats imaginable for international flights, food that was worse than a gas station, and on top of that all 4 flights were extremely HOT/no AC. I regret this booking so much. Completely ruined my engagement experience. DO NOT BOOK with air AirEuropa
