    Replaced shower head
    Myrna S.

Some time ago, we required the services of a plumber because our bathtub had backed up in the middle of the night. First thing the very next morning, my mother called Easy Rooter and Mr. Chuck Ross answered our call. He dropped by house and not only snaked the pipes but was also kind enough to replace the shower head and the water spout. The whole service took less than two hours and costed around $269 but best of all Mr. Ross was an absolute gentleman and consummate professional; he was very kind and patient with my mother, explaining everything that needed to done or replaced, and why. Thank you Mr. Ross, you are a credit to your company.

Replacement of the gas supply valve

Water Heater failed early on a Friday here in Fernley. I have a relatively new unit (4 yrs old). Researched plumbing services and was promptly replied to on Yelp by Easy Rooter. They indicated that they were booked that day but could respond Saturday or Sunday but related the service would incur an overtime rate. I chose to wait till he following Monday and made an appointment for 9am to 10am. (Just had to endure cold showers for the weekend) Service Call- James with Easy Rooter arrived promptly at 9am. Found him approachable and pleasant. His initial assessment indicated a faulty pilot assemble. He drove back to sparks for the parts and returned. After completing the repair, the water heater still failed to ignite. Secondary assessment indicated a remove and replace of the gas supply valve. Again, James had to drive back to sparks for the part. Upon return, James completed the job and poof, water heater up and running. Wife is happy to take a hot shower. I paid $700 for the job. It appears excessive but I was happy to pay it for the service that was provided. James was informative and allowed me to watch the whole process. I've never worked with gas before but feel that if the problem (common issue) arises again, I could do it myself. James- Loved the "Red Hat"!!!!

Their equipment wasn't working, which dragged the job out to nearly twice as long as it should have. To make matters worse, they spilled what looked like close to two quarts of oil all over the dirt on the property and made no effort to properly clean it up or take responsibility, instead they tried to conceal it by kicking dirt on it and then left it. That's not tacky its highly inappropriate. Communication was just as bad. We had to chase them down for days to get the report, after clearly written instructions to the company. After raising these concerns, the company promised a follow-up call to take care of things that never happened. Completely blew us off. Then the invoice showed up hundreds higher than expected, pushing close to $1,000, including nearly $400 just for the inspection. For the level of service provided, that pricing is hard to justify. After 21+ years in this business across two states, this is easily one of the worst vendor experiences I've dealt with. Poor execution, poor communication, and zero accountability. Would not recommend.

We bought our house in 2020 and knew nothing about septic systems or what it meant to live on septic. Waters conducted our independent septic inspection and then also cleaned it out. They were great then and I had hoped we wouldn't see them again for another 5-7 years. Fast forward to today (2023), we began a permit process with Washoe County to put a shop on our property. When you're on septic you're required to go through the health department for verification of your septic system and ensure there's enough space on the property for repairs, etc. We opted to work with Waters through this process to get us through our health department nightmare. Dan Martin was our point of contact and let me tell you... this guy is AWESOME. He helped us navigate through what felt like a nightmare, coordinated with the health department directly, and was so so patient with me, my husband, and all the nuances we had to go through to document our septic system and seepage pit. I am beyond grateful for people like him who are professional, relatable, trustworthy, honest, and hard working. He never got annoyed with us and was so quick to support in whatever next step we needed to do for the health department. If you need septic support in any capacity, Waters should be your go-to. Starting with the people in the office to the folks in the field, they are true professionals and a top notch company.

The company sent out a young but very knowledgeable and adept plumber out the next day, who made quick work of removing the old tank, helping me rebuild the platform that was now ruined, and installed a new tank with new piping. I was very impressed with the speed and expertise of the job! While maybe not the cheapest company I received a quote from, it was certainly not as expensive as many of the lower-rated companies, and had the quickest turnaround to my family's hot water back on. Today (six months after the new install), the release valve popped on the water heater and we lost hot water. I shut it down and turned off the water and gas, and immediately called for help. It was 4pm (and I live in Fernley). I had taken a photo, as well, and texted it to them showing exactly what to expect. By 5:15pm, there was a plumber at my door (they made record time all the way from Reno in heavy traffic on I-80!) and they repaired the faulty valve and also repaired an exhaust pipe (from original home construction) that had started bending. All under warranty from the work they had done previously for me. Again, I was very impressed, and I am 100% completely satisfied by having chosen such a reputable plumbing company!
