After researching and shopping for a great moving company, I decided to go with Easy Moving Services, and I'm so happy I did. From the very start, Eboni was very responsive (most other companies lost out because they took HOURS to even get back to me- Eboni called back within 5 minutes). After our conversation, she sent me a quote with my first choice of time and day. The deposit was very reasonable, and my expectations on an approximate time frame was set. Throughout the entire process, I can't express enough how much I appreciated her constant communication with me. The two men that came to help me were Tray and Jordan. They were super friendly and even arrived a couple minutes early, so they were ready to start immediately, which was a huge plus. We briefly went over the items, and they instantly started packing and wrapping. We got my entire 1 bedroom apartment loaded, stopped by Goodwill to drop off some bulky, unneeded items, and they unloaded at my new place, 20 minutes away, all within a neat 3 hour time slot. Even while sweating bullets on a 100 degree blazing day, both men had a great and positive attitude. They even do out of state moves, so I will 100% be recommending this company to anyone that needs to be moved. Thank again Eboni, Jordan, & Tray! I made the mistake of engaging the team for packing services, in addition to moving. Below are the highlights: 1. A number of items were left in the original location after the movers were gone, including an papasan chair, bedding items, 2 kitchen electronic tools, spare car keys, and a few decor items. When I highlighted that to the team, the response was "what is left is small and medial". 2. The team did not appear to have enough packing materials - I found a number of decor items in my cooler, as well as plastic bags I kept by the trash can. 3. Possibly as a result of #2 - 2 of the 3 full length mirrors the team moved arrived broken. 4. I had asked the team to mark the boxes with content - about two thirds of the boxes ended up being labeled "bedroom". The rest were "kitchen" and "kitchen decor". 5. I had asked the team to pack certain items separately from others as they were going to different locations - all ended up mixed together in boxes. 6. I had another team pack and move roughly the same amount of items from Dallas to Atlanta a few years ago, with the exact same logistics (proximity of parking, number of flights of stairs, etc.). A 2 people team packed and loaded everything on the truck within about 6 hrs. Here I had a 3 people team, and it took them 8 hrs. Additionally, a few hours were charged at both, the packing and the moving rate, while all my prior moves charged either or. The fact that the team cancelled the day of the move didn't help, and I had to change travel and rental arrangements to make the rescheduled move date happen. The team offered compensation equal to about 15% of overall moving cost, which after removing the cost of broken items, the compensation for cancellation ended up being about 5% of the moving cost. Liar, no integrity, use another moving company. Eboni called and made up some story about her moving truck, says it was hit by a tractor trailer. Gave me a phone number of some guy that never answered his phone. She went on to say that she was at the accident scene, but I heard a TV in the background (thus the lie). She backed out 40 minutes before my scheduled time to move. I lost a lot of money finding another moving company. Not to mention, I had to be out of my old house the same night. No remorse for her company's actions. Stay clear of this business. She can keep her response; it will be another lie. Even if the accident took place, she only has one truck? I was referred to Easy Moving Services by a friend that had used them a few weeks before. I was greatly impressed by the text alerts, email communication and the arrival time. They did arrive 30 minutes late, but let me know and was and is always due to Atlanta traffic. My only concern that I had was that some of my furniture was not wrapped. i.e. a fabric couch, wooden nightstands, chairs. After addressing this issue with Eboni, this was done. Be sure to review your contract and inquire about wrapping. The staff is friendly and courteous and worked really hard to complete my move. I will definitely use again. read more

CUSTOMER BEWARE!! READ BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY. We hired this company for two days (loading on August 21 and unloading on August 22). After they cancelled our unloading trip for the 22nd, I start receiving emails in the tone of this: "In the signed agreement it also states if your appointment is cancelled for a violation of this clause, you may not write any negative reviews. Please understand I have taken a client to court before that set out on a mission in the manner you are and they regretted it. I sent documentation as proof. Understand we are a business with policies you violated an can be proven. Do not put yourself in a situation you may not get out of because a lien will be put on your new home, you vehicles, or garnish any checks (as I'd have the legal right once we win) from either you, your husband, or your mother. As you were all there and directing us, you all will be added to the lawsuit. I will show all evidence that showed you stated you have a low standard of living when we told you about the roaches in the truck. I'll show (because I document everything) how you paid the bill exactly at 2 hours and tipped $40.00 and also wanted us to unload which is indicative of someone who was pleased with service and not displeased which discredits your disgruntled text an emails immediately after cancellation caused by you. Ask yourself if $40.00 is worth a potential $15,000 for defamation of character. Our business knows the civil laws quite well. I'd advise you not go this route as I guarantee the sheriffs will be serving you expeditiously if we receive any reviews." Eboni and her crew did an AMAZING job with my move. She and two movers moved both mine and my fiance's apartments to our new home in 5 hours including disassembly/reassembly and travel time. The rates were incredibly reasonable and they did a fantastic job with our stuff, even handling our giant, extremely heavy sleeper sofa that took several attempts to maneuver inside. It was also extremely easy to schedule my move, and she was very flexible with our last minute needs and questions. I cannot recommend Easy Moving Services enough - we will definitely call them again for our next move (which hopefully is not for a while)! read more

Scheduled for 11 am on a saturday, at 11:45 the night before I get a notification that they rescheduled for noon. She then gave me a very detailed contract which left no questions about the charges. I received updated text messages and emails throughout the whole process. I used this service to move from Sandy Springs to Smyrna, GA. They did a fine job for a decent rate. Her team was polite and did a good job. I tipped well and then referred my friends. At the time of appointment (day of) they delayed and then canceled the appointment all together. Eboni (the lady in charge) deferred blame and came across hostile when I followed up (I was very polite). Be careful using this company if you have a time crunch on your move. Scheduled a move in late February, the night before the move Easy Moving cancelled by email which stated that my deposit of $90 would be refunded. No such thing happened, as of today (June 21) I have not received my refund. PayPal attempted to return my deposit twice and Easy Moving kept reversing the refund. Let the buyer beware! Do not use! Eboni will NOT repair damage they cause, and she will look for any way to get out of it that she can. She is duplicitous and without integrity and no one wants to enter into a business deal with someone that is this unethical. I called them to help move before I saw a great deal of 1 star reviews on another website. Lesson learned. During the move, the movers were trying to squeeze the washer out through the laundry room door and they were doing it the wrong way. They called me upstairs to let me know it might cause damage and wanted to make me aware. I pushed on the side of the washer seeing how tightly they had wedged it in there (tight enough it took paint off the door sill and was a foot off the floor) and I let them know that when I moved it in years prior to that, i used a dolly and wheeled it right through having turned it the other way. It clearly was not going through the way they were trying to jam it through so they pushed it backwards into the laundry room. As it was pushed backwards it slammed down into the laundry room floor damaging the floor. I didnt immediately notice it as the washer was on top of the damage and the mover was a little hurt in the process and took a small break before reorienting the washer to the correct angle before making another attempt. It was only after I came back to the home some hours later that I noticed a massive 3 way crack in the linoleum floor where the washer leg hit the flooring hard, causing it to crack. You can even see the impact in the picture I took and sent to the owner. However, when I called Eboni to speak to her about this, she did not pick up, so i left a voicemail detailing the incident. I went ahead and paid the moving bill and called her again on Monday, again no answer so i left a voicemail. Before the move, Eboni would pick up immediately when I called, now after 4 calls, 4 voicemails, 1 email and 1 text, no response whatsoever. So I call her on another phone number she does not know and she suddenly picks up. Amazing that! That last call was mere minutes after I had called her on my phone. She knew she was caught red handed ignoring my calls and not returning my messages. I told her I was contacting her about the damage to the laundry room floor of the home we were moving out of and that the movers damaged it trying to force the washer out the wrong way. Now I purchased her services for moving and that came with a 1,000 dollar insurance policy they repair or replace anything up to 1,000 dollars. Eboni says she will look into it and call me by tomorrow. Once we hang up she immediately begins asking me questions by email. The goal of these increasingly specific questions was clearly to find a way out of not having to get the flooring repaired. She said the crack looked "pre existing" and that I could have done it when I moved the washer in 3 years ago and just not noticed. What does a pre-existing crack look like and what powers of observation do you have Eboni to be able to determine that? The crack is not where the washer sat, its by the door to exit the room, clearly visible with nothing ever covering that spot in the room. So her suggestion is that for 3 years I never noticed an indention in the floor in the middle of a 3 way tear (about 7-9 inches) in the linoleum. ...it takes a lot of gaul to assume your client is that stupid, more so to suggest that THAT is the more likely option rather than it just happened hours ago when the movers tried moving the washer out the door the wrong way and shoved it backwards onto the flooring causing an impact with the floor. I'm sure Eboni will eventually get on here and write a response to this review (like she has for her numerous other 1 star reviews) in which she capitalizes words and says she did nothing wrong. She says if you help the movers move, then any damage she is not responsible for even if the movers caused it because you were helping them. I told her, I did not help them move, I pushed on the side of the washer to determine how tight it was stuck in the door and tried rubbing the paint off it which came from the door sill. She said the movers did nothing wrong. I never said the movers did anything wrong, they were moving stuff and sometimes things get damaged when you are moving, but for heavens sake, if you damage it you need to repair or replace it. My bill was over 1400 dollars and the 1,000 dollar insurance policy was more than enough to fix damages in the move. Damages they cause and damages they are responsible for fixing according to their website and the email confirmations Eboni sent me. But if something is damaged, and you can actually get this Eboni on the phone, then she will look for ANY WAY POSSIBLE to get out of it. Im reporting her to the BBB! DO NOT USE! This company has horrible business practices. I submitted a request for an estimate on Monday. I was super excited because it's a female owned business but unfortunately she let me down. I had a difficult time getting in contact with her. The number listed wasn't the accurate number and when she called me back the connection was horrible. Each phone call had a bad connection. We continued to try and understand each other and Monday evening I received a confirmation for my move. I reached out for clarification as I hadn't received the estimate. Once again, the connection was horrible but I believe she said I would be getting it shortly and went over the rates with me. I discussed it with my fiancée and we decided to standby for the estimate. On Thursday, a week out from my move I receive a cancellation from the company. I call the number, no answer, no response, I text, no response and I email still no response. I've yet to here back from the company and here I am a week out from my move with no movers.... as much as I like to support female owned and black owned business, I can't support this one, awful business practices. read more

We arrived at the unit for unloading and the facility I reserved was horrible. No way was I leaving my stuff there. WOW! I used Eboni today for a move and was absolutely blown away! She and her crew are awesome! I'm a real estate broker and deal with moves all the time... And her concept of handling the move and then cleaning is beyond words! She started cleaning as soon as the moving crew moved things out of each room and when the moving was finished, the movers started helping with the cleaning! I've never had a more professional, organized move before and I've done lots of them! I scheduled an appointment with this company on Saturday, paid my deposit, then on Sunday I get a text stating if this "move day checklist" wasn't completed by end of day that my appointment may be cancelled. Do Not Use This Service! First off they show up late without a truck, the lady Eboni says oh you said you didn't need a truck, I have several large items so why would I say that, I was already thinking omg this is a mess so now Eboni has an attitude, I'm like don't worry my friend has a truck he is pulling up she is like it's ok we can just use the dolly since it's just one apartment to another. I also realize that she has two teenage boys with her to move my things if I wanted teenage boys to move my stuff I could've contacted my little cousins and my nephews I was under the impression that she was going to have responsible adults move my stuff, The day is long the boys that she has helping move my stuff keep sitting down and taking breaks every time someone is not at the other apartment the end of everything I was charged $180 for an hour move when I finally started to settle I realize that I'm missing a diamond ring a diamond necklace that my grandmother gave me and my sofas are ripped to shreds and now I'm on my way to the police department because I am missing a diamond ring and necklace also my sofa is scratched beyond repair so please save yourself some time and some heart ache do not use this service. If you enjoy stressful moving days then boy do I have a company for you. There is a reason their prices are so cheap...Be extremely cautious if you regrettably book this company. Today 9/26 I had an appointment at 10AM at 8:42AM I received an update that my appointment had been moved back until 11AM. Fine. I asked why it had been pushed back and received this response "Hi Chris, As stated in the notes section of the confirmation, my movers and I will arrive by or before the adjusted time." I could be "wrong" but that's not what I asked... Come 10:47AM I get another notice that our appointment has been moved back till 11:45AM. From my last interaction which was at 8:42AM until 12:13PM I get no response to texts or my phone calls. At 12:13PM she replied saying she had three drivers and did not give a time of arrival... after that reply I called and texted again to get more information. No answer. At 12:37PM I get another TEXT, not phone call, saying now and I quote, "Give me just one moment Chris. I apologize. I am trying to coordinate everything so that I may give you a definite time. I am not avoiding you. My truck broke down. I am just trying to get everything together." Well "one moment" has taken about 2 hours now. Also, she communicated with my girlfriend that they do have another truck available that is not broken. After this message I get no response and we finally at 2:30PM receive a response saying our appointment has been rescheduled for next day. Eboni is extremely unprofessional in the way she acts and treats her customers. Please learn how to run a business and communicate with your customers even if it is bad news. First I need to start off by saying the movers were excellent. Their work was fast and efficient. However my poor review comes from my experience with management. The weather was not ideal at the time of my scheduled move (heavy rain). I received a call from Eboni that they were not expecting this rain and would wait to see if it cleared before driving to my place. We exchanged a few calls during that wait time in which she said she preferred to wait until the following day when she could be more prepared for the rain. While frustrated that my move was being delayed, we agreed on a time early the next morning. She then told me to wait 15 minutes and she would call me back. She called back and said she and her guys would be over soon to complete the move. The move went well, no issues at all. Upon completion she then informed me that because it was raining at the time of the move and since she preferred to move the time of the move, I was responsible for paying an additional amount of money. No where in the service agreement does it say i am subject to additional charges due to weather conditions. Nor does it say I am subject to charges when going against her preferences. Earlier that day We had settled on a time the next day and she called back to say they could complete the move on our original date - I never felt I forced her to complete the move in the rain. I felt disrespected and tricked as a client and would not use this service again because of it. read more

If you value your belongings I would not recommend this company at all! Eboni and her 1 child crew showed up to my home on 10/28 a 1/2 hr late. Before she even came I explained to her that 2 items of my furniture would be replaced and to please be very careful with the dresser and leather sectional! I also pointed out all the damage that was on the furniture so we wouldn't have any issues on what was damage and what wasn't. Eboni even took pictures for her records. Well it didn't matter they ended up breaking the dresser then she claims she didn't do it, then says to be honest I'm not sure if we didn't but she would fix it and if they didn't take it back she has insurance. She did fix it and I hope it doesn't come back on me! This was a two part move I did get a 10% discount just like on her website offered and she gave me 15% discount due to the fact she broke the dresser on the 2nd move which went downhill. The appointment was made a week in advance and it was set for 9 am and the furniture company was to deliver my dresser between the hrs of 11-3 which was made while Eboni was standing next to me when they called to arrange time. On 11/3 I get an email from her saying that she reschedule the time to 11 on 11/4 and I had to call and remind her that the dresser is being replaced at that time and she said oh that's right and proceeded to tell me how this big job that she's doing is taking a lot longer to finish ok sorry but I can't change the time that they gave me for delivery. Well later on that evening I get another email stating that it was rescheduled to 10 after we just talked about my other delivery. We get to the storage unit and I once again ask them to be very careful with these items and once again they did more damage. They started to bring in the sectional I noticed it was punctured on 1 piece then they brought in another one and it was ripped and the arguing started. She said she would give me her insurance info but the situation escalated more when more items were brought in with damages. The amount of damage this unprofessional and incompetent company has done is unbelievable. It got so bad I had to call the police on her. She started screaming at the top of her lungs shut up and then acted as if she was going to hit me which she knew better! If you want a bunch of kids and rude unprofessional people to move your things well this is the right company for you but if not I suggest you find someone else. Eboni can say whatever lies she wants but she knows the truth and GOD don't like ugly. KARMA, remember it always come back to get you. I wouldn't have had to stand watch if she didn't have children that don't have a lot of experience moving furniture working for her. I will be uploading pictures soon this was brand new furniture and was inspected by rooms to go of the damages that is why it was being replaced its all on file with them with pictures! This person is rude, disrespectful and does not know how to act in a professional manner. The police were called while she was there and she left before they got to my home.
