I came in with a friend and it was quickly clear that most of the people in the bar were regulars. The bartender and a few of the regulars asked if it was our first time in. The people that we met engaged in friendly conversation and were very welcoming. We went on a Thursday and were pleased to learn that it was karaoke night! There was a free app that we needed to download to get into the cue, but it was very easy. The karaoke crowd was also very kind. They also have a little menu that consisted of hot dogs, fries, onion rings, and other quick foods. We ordered onion rings and they were pretty good. I will be coming back for sure!

The deviled eggs were to die for and I wish we had ordered twice as many. I also ordered goat cheese and crackers and the figs with prosciutto, however, and I just was not digging either one. I was expecting fresh figs with cured prosciutto, and that was just not the dish offered on the menu. I'm an ignorant diner, so it was my bad, but to be honest, I wish this place offered less "foodie food" and more just palatable, easy, approachable food. I had a gin and tonic and the specialty banana cocktail, both of which were amazing. We love this place and will continue to visit frequently, I just need more menu options for "picky" eaters. Like, just give me a bread bowl with some chowder and I'll be happy. Or, some fish and chips. I don't need gourmet, I just need some "easy" food while I enjoy all the amazing cocktails.

I don't go out for steak frequently ditto grilling at home. A buddy invited me for the Channel Marker Wednesday night $10 bogo steak and would have been happy with char-grilled shoe leather for $25-30. I had measured expectations...but was served a top-notch 8 ounce medium rare steak of impeccable quality. Impeccable. No surgical slicing around fat...every bite was tender, juicy, perfectly cooked and tasty, with a baker slathered with sour cream...I don't recall a dive bar exceeding expectations like this in my life...I was blown away... Fast forward to 7/6/25, The Homie and I decided to check out Jersey's on 152nd to wrap up the Fourth of July holiday weekend with their happy hour. There's ample adjacent parking, plus plentiful seating in both the bar and restaurant sections. There were well placed flat screens, which on this visit had the F1 race televised from Las Vegas and the US - Mexico Concacaf match televised from Houston. Lots of signed sports memorabilia posted on the walls. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive and provided us with both the Happy Hour (3-6pm) and extensive regular menus. I'd call this elevated sports bar cuisine. There's even breakfast/brunch items available on weekends. We both had refreshing iced beverages, an iced tea and a Pepsi, which were refilled during out meal onsite ($3.50 each). We ordered from the HH menu: Crispy JoJo Skins ($9), Hog Wings with coleslaw ($13), and Buttermilk Chicken Tenders with fries ($10). I appreciated the nice presentation of each of the HH menu items. The JoJo potato skins were loaded with melted cheese, green onions, and bacon bits plus a nice garlic lime sour cream sauce. The Hog Wings selected were succulent pork shanks tossed in kalbi sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and served with coleslaw. The Buttermilk Chicken Tenders were moist and not over coated and served with on point house fries. Yet again, another Shoreline gem flying under the radar screen. Jersey's Great Food and Spirits has great service and a wide variety of menu items to savor. Next visit will be much sooner and not a ten year hiatus!

My only complaint is that the burgers are pretty consistently undercooked. I placed a phone order today and the person said they came well done. The burger was very rare in the center and I wasn't able to finish my burger. I also ordered a burger for my grandmother and hers was very undercooked as well. This is very disappointing when the expectations were well done burgers. My advice would be to say it twice to make sure it cooked and maybe have them cut it in half so you can check in the restaurant. Overall a great bar, but just be cautious when eating food.

Outdoor Games & Family-Friendly Vibes Edway isn't just for the 21+ crowd, it's proudly kid-friendly, with outdoor games like cornhole that keep everyone entertained and ladder golf. Plenty of space means you won't be elbowing for a view, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it easy to settle in for a full match.
