I want it again..... This was a very good experience. The courtyard dining was very nice and not as loud compared to the inside experience. The food was fresh and very tasty. Brunch was understood here. The French toast was very nice and not heavy despite its massive quantity. The flavors complimented each other all the way until the last bite. The Montecristo sandwich was balanced savory and sweet flawlessly. This was a hearty selection and could be shared with two. The cheese grits had to be made by someone's grandma IYKYK. The cowboy bacon I could just have a tray of it as it was a flavor bomb covering heat, sweet, salty, savory, and smokey. The staff was super friendly and accommodating working as a team. The table next to me was promptly provided with hot fries upon request due to the original order being "cold". A few minutes passed by and boom hot fresh fries. I had no clue about village and the assortment of shops and restaurants. I'm super happy I stumbled across it and found the hidden gems. They nailed it. 4.8 out of 5

Surf and Turf
Nae L.

The service was polite although not quite timely. Food came out looking and smelling great. Portions were good sized, and all food arrived hot and seemed fresh. Two friends got the surf and turf and both said it was delicious! One did complain that the grits were extremely thick, TOO thick and I could tell by looking at them. French toast was kind of dry and grainy. Seating area is tight and close indoors, there is also a reasonably sized outdoor seating area which I assume is seasonal. It was clearly family friendly based on the larger parties, some with kids. Took longer to get the check than it took to get the food. Not a bad visit for my first one.

Nice vibes, good food, nice, professional service. You're paying a little more, but you're getting all of the above in return. Perfect place for an early Sunday morning.

Pleasantly surprised by this breakfast spot in the Village of Cross Keys. Starting my meal with the special ube coconut matcha was incredible and allowed optimal time to explore the extensive menu offerings. From special items, to all the classic breakfast offerings, there is truly something for everyone. The staff is a little but slow, but once you order, it is worth the wait. Sitting outside was perfect and the portions are huge and perfect for sharing!

Located in the Village of Cross Keys, this is a delicious breakfast/brunch cafe!! Great options with the freshest ingredients. Nice sized portions!! So many unique offerings!! Fabulous attentive service!! The monte crisco and fluffy pancakes are a must!!! Great coffee and specialty matcha drinks. Plenty of seating inside and out, with lots of umbrellas for shade outside.

Unlike the name "Easy Like Sunday" (lol), I had a little trouble actually finding the restaurant, and ran into another lost customer in the upper parking deck trying to find the place. Thank goodness I called and a helpful staff member guided me to the inner atrium where the restaurant was located. So, last month I met up with my sistah girls for brunch on a weekday morning. A time was had! It was my first time there, and I can still remember the delicious, buttery chicken and pancakes that I had. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it for a friend's gathering.

We visited on Father's Day as a party of three, and everyone left completely satisfied with their meal. The restaurant was very clean both inside and outside, which made for a great first impression. Despite the holiday crowd, the wait time was not significant at all. From the hostess who greeted us to our waitress, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The atmosphere, service, and overall hospitality were truly top-tier. The food was excellent across the board. I ordered the vanilla matcha, avocado toast, steak and potatoes, and pancakes, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals just as much. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch. It's a great spot for families, offers outstanding service, and serves delicious food. We'll definitely be back

Little bit of everything - French toast, home fries, and fruit

You know you've done something right when everyone finds something they want even with a limited menu. I was dining with some selective eaters and everyone found something that intrigued them. I ordered the bacon and goat cheese burger which had a symphony of amazing flavors. I also ordered their iced chai tea which was perfect for a brunch! My cousin ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and enjoyed her meal. My grandmother on the other hand ate the banana brûlée french toast. By the end of the meal, my grandmother was asking us where we found this place! That's a win in my book. Our server Jordan was very patient with us and answered any questions we had. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, including the general manager. The cherry on top was the amazing atmosphere! Outdoor seating is also available. Pro tip: any of the main breakfast items can be ordered as a combo, which is listed as "a little bit of everything" on the menu.

Delicious brunch creative classics on a Saturday at Easy Like Sunday :-) We celebrated Mothers' Day at Easy Like Sunday in Roland Park, Baltimore. We were lucky to get a table for four at 11am on Saturday! Their menu offered creative versions of many classics: $22 Shrimp & Grits of medium-spicy shrimp & Andouille, cheesy-cheddar-grits, and a balanced savory trio of onion, shallots, and chives. Marvellous! Their generous $15 Avocado Toast: sculpted creamy Hass Avocado over bright arugula greens, next to fresh sourdough crunchy toast, with a dish of heirloom cherry tomato awakened with a tangy marinade. Art you can eat, at a nice price. A lovely $20.50 stack of Classic French Toast was chunky powdered sugar over perfectly grilled eggy syrupy brioche under a mound of light whipped-butter, with flavorful soft peach chunks and a large fresh mint leaf. It certainly was delicious! We had $19 light fluffy scrambled eggs over fresh greens and halved cherry tomatoes, with sausage links, over avocado-spread toast. Another delight. It was a calm, refreshing, relaxing brunch. I will say the price seemed a bit high, but it was worth it for the splendid experience among a cheerful, full, room and patio. Happy Mother's Day!

Berry ricotta stuffed French toast

I recently went to Easy Like Sunday for brunch and really enjoyed the food. I got an iced vanilla latte to drink, the brisket hash, and the berry ricotta stuffed French toast. The brisket hash was good, but the portion size was a little small. I also ordered the French toast and it was rich and sweet. I appreciated that there were lots of drink options to choose from too (coffee, tea, cocktails, mocktails). If you're looking for a great brunch with indoor or outdoor seating, you should check out Easy Like Sunday!

I was off on a Friday and wanted to take my mom somewhere new for brunch. I picked this place and I was impressed! The food was delicious, and the drinks were great as well. Its small inside and because it was one of the hottest days sitting outside was not an option. The wait was about an hour long. They text when my table was ready. My server was nice but she seemed rushed and distracted.

Shrimp & Grits

My bonus daughter and I dined at Easy Like Sunday in Roland Park and were beyond satisfied. From the hostess's warm and welcoming greeting to being seated promptly indoors, the experience started off on the right note. Our server, Keya, was professional, attentive, and truly made our first visit one to remember, and definitely not our last. I started with a hot cup of drip coffee and thoroughly enjoyed the mimosa sampler, which included a bottle of prosecco paired with three signature purées...lavender was my favorite. My daughter opted for a mocktail and said it was just as delicious. For our meals, I had the shrimp and grits (without pork), and my daughter chose the Crab Cake Benedict with a side of home fries. She mentioned the English muffin was a bit firm, but overall, everything was flavorful and satisfying. We left full, happy, and still talking about the beautiful décor and inviting ambiance. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered the chicken kelaguen with titiyas; shrimp patties; pancit; red rice & chicken with daikon, fina'denne, and dinanche; butter mochi (with deconstructed coconut candy); and Chamorro empanadas. Everything was so good! That fina'denne, kelaguen, and pancit were on point!! The chalakiles (filling inside the empanada) was so flavorful. Mmm! More flavorful than I'm used to! That was nice. The shell wasn't hard-crunchy like how many make it in Guam, but the shell still had a crunch to it! The shrimp patties were shaped differently than I'm used to, but it was still delicious, especially with the sauce it came with. The butter mochi was the perfect ending to our meal! Those alone are worth making the trip out. The musubi is better than my grandmother's. I've also enjoyed the steamed buns and the chicken skewers. The desserts were phenomenal, house made, not a hint of Cysco or us foods slop. I can't recommend this place enough. The interior is extremely comfy and almost transports you to another country. With unique seating options, if we lived closer we'd be regulars at happy hour. Paul told us today about a chef curated menu that we plan to try out for our next visit. In a world of corporate owned restaurants serving uninspired slop, places like The Duchess need to be protected.

We also enjoyed the spinach and artichoke pizza on gluten free crust. The crust left much to be desired however, with the edges almost burnt to a crispy and the middle still pretty soggy. The flavor of the pizza itself was good but it could've used a sprinkle of flaky salt or even a drizzle of balsamic or chili oil to liven it up. Love that they feature a ton of unique pizza topping combinations so you can really explore some adventurous flavors. Their menu is also clearly marked for gluten free options which is always a win in my book. I'll be back!

We ordered drinks, they later said they were out of the non-alcoholic sangria, but we got another drink. The drinks were ok, there was an interesting taste to the lemon drop martini that I couldn't put my finger on. We had to flag the waiter for several things (napkins, plates, forks). He was nice but overwhelmed being the only person for all the tables. The Thai chili wings were amazing but there weren't many wings for $13. We both ordered the catfish meal. The catfish was delish, the greens were ok (needed more salt & vinegar but hot sauce helped). The yams were really good. The macaroni and cheese was not good at all. It had no flavor and no cream/roux. It was literally just melted cheese and noodles. The jazz night was just a solo sax player (she played a few great songs) but I was expecting maybe 2 or more musicians. I will not be returning.

Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles.
