Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. BIG MISTAKE!! We had…read moreour basement built out by Mister Ladder in 2021. At the time, all the contractors used were professional and honest. We had a minor issue with one of the contractors drinking beer while on the job, and we only found out because he left the beer can in the basement. I immediately contacted Bobby Hayes, and he took care of it. Fast forward to 2025, we had a leak in the basement bathroom that they installed. When we went to repair it, we discovered from another contractor that the plumbing had not been done up to code. We called Mister Ladder, and they informed us that Bobby was no longer with the company, so I needed to contact him directly, which I did. He said he would send a plumber to our house to fix the issue, but I haven't heard anything since. I have tried to call him several times, leaving messages, and he is nonresponsive. I called back to Mister Ladder, and they said that they were never contracted to install the plumbing, only install the items for the bathroom. They were contracted to install a sump pump and ejector pump, but the installation was done incorrectly. They are not assisting with getting this resolved, and the integrity I thought this company had was all smoke and mirrors.
