While the electrician seemed knowledgeable I would say they are horribly overpriced and then charged me a $69 fee to give me a bid which was 2-3 times what the job should have cost. Their bid was what it would cost to wire a whole house. I'll never use them again and glad it only cost me $69 to learn that lesson. My wife and I had a malfunctioning cadet heater and baseboard heater, so we called up Easy Electric and made contact with Mike. Although he did show up late, which was a somewhat rough way to start doing business, he made it up to us later by giving us a little price break for his services. Mike was friendly and courteous, but has a sarcastic/deadpan sense of humor that a stick-in-the-mud might not understand or appreciate. He fairly quickly discovered that the circuit was double thermostated, which means there is a main thermostat connected to both heating units, but both heaters have thermostats themselves (pretty confusing for us as new homeowners). He put a new screw into the cadet heater to secure it to the wall better, gave us a few helpful electrical hints about our homes system, and was on his way. Mike was professional and seemed to know his trade well. The service provided (troubleshooting) was not cheap, and one might look at it as my wife and I paying a few hundred bucks for a screw in the heater, but I suspect, being completely electrical-ignorant, we would have never figured out the issue by ourselves. He let us know right up front that there would be a service fee just for coming out, which I'm not sure is the industry standard, but seemed understandable since time = money. Ultimately, we'd have no problem inviting Easy Electric back into our house for more work, but next time we'll probably call around a little more to check prices and get estimates. read more

Heater stopped working due to fuse box failure and with freezing temperatures it was getting really cold. Easy electric sent Mike over same morning I called and he fixed the problem within an hour. Heat is on and warming up the house. Mike also did some wiring in my garage this fall and did a fast, professional job at a reasonable price. I will definitely use Easy Electric again. read more

Mike is literally the absolute best. Found him two years ago and so thankful for everything he has helped us with. 3:51 pm We had bought a brand-new dishwasher and after installing it, it would not turn on. I called another company early morning and it took them 3 hours to get back to me. After we finally connected, the gal told me they could not come out as their electrical side was booked. I said ok so what do you have available next week, all she could say is they are booked. I said can you call if there is a cancellation, she said sure and then I ended the conversation. I called Easy Electric and the gentleman understand my plight of getting the dish washer machine going, it could of been broken or something with our electric box, and said he could have a technician out that afternoon! I was so happy and he was right on time! Pricing was upfront and after 5 minutes, he had it fixed! Showed me what to do next time and even gave me other quotes for future services! The other company never even referred me to someone else and I had to pry out of her if there is a cancellation she would call. Not impressed!!!! I asked Easy electric for a quote for a new house I bought that had dreaded knob and tube wiring. His quote was almost $500 less than a competitor. The extensive re-wiring job took two days in which my mom was home and she said they were hilarious and great guys, then after they left I discovered they missed 2 outlets, probably because my house is covered in boxes, Mike promptly fixed them asap. No way would I ever recommend this company when it comes to getting true honest work!!! We had out old house switched from knob and tube. A week into the job the "worker" not the actual boss informed me that had they known it was gonna be a full knob and tube upgrade to new house electric they would have said NO to the job. By then it was to late, i only saw the boss on day one and the last day. My contract was a piece of notebook paper! Now lets count the problems, #1 they had to put smoke detectors in all the bedrooms, my sons bedroom NEVER ever worked after 12 hrs it started chirpping, and we finally had to unplug it or we woul be woken up every single night with the chirpping, mind you these were new detectors and new batteries all "provided" by them. #2 Then they charged me hundreds extra to add outlets in a couple spots that they knew we would be maybe plugging in air conditioners. I have only plugged one air conditioner into that spots and in two days have blown the circuit MULTIPLE TIMES! #3 as they ere working on my electricity which we knew was going to be destructive they multiple times cut huge holes in my walls and then said "oh man i could have went from the basement and never had to cut up your walls like that", which now WE have to spend more money to fix. #4 I can not run my dishwasher and microwave at the same time or my curcuit breaks and I have to reset it. This has been pretty much from week two of having all of this done! #5 we blow light bulbs at least 2 or 3 every single week. #6 The "worker" decided that he was gonna put our living room electricity on its own breaker since we had a bit to plug in, BUT he forgot to actually do that, so we have our living room (tvs, video game systems, computer, cable boxes) all on the same breaker as we have the rest of the living room, and dining room on. So as of today we have already blown the lving room circuit 5 TIMES!!!!! #7 I wanted outlets installed in all my rooms being as this is an old house my entire upstairs had not outlets. So they gave me 2 outlets in each room but our sitting room they refused to put outlets in because they would have to deal with exterior walls.... well i know lots of houses that have outlets installed on an "exterior wall" so now i have room in my house that has no electrical outlets at all. # 8 My bedroom downstairs had to electrical outlets already so since it was old electricity they needed to ground the outlets.... well they decided only one of my outlets needed grounded so one of them i can barley use and its not even up to inspection...because your outlets should be grounded. #9 I paid$ 12,000 for this new rewiring and I still am having to repair my walls where they decided they were just going to demolish wether they could find a cleaner way to do it or not. #10 they hired a guy in my front yard.... just to simply get this job done.. and now i have SERIOUS problems with all of my electricity.... coincidence... i really don't think so. #11 the guy in charge not the boss but the main guy in charge my house... had already been fired multiple times and then brought on... but not to my knowledge until pretty much the last day. As far as pictures of the damage done to my house.. PLEASE ASK because i have sooooooo many!!! #12 while doing the drywall repair we realize we are now going to have someone come BACK out and put spacers in our outlets because they did not compensate for the difference in where they mounted the outlets and where the actual drywall was going to come flush on the wall. Mind you we did not totally remove all walls so in my opinion it was pretty clear where were wanting the outlets to come flush with THE EXISTING WALL! #13 the "guy" in charge of my house said he was going to have an inspector come check it out, but then he also insured me that he knew this inspector and all he was going to have to do was tell this guy its all good and he would be well on his way. Which that was indeed what happened. The inspector did not even pull out any tools or equipment he slapped an approved sticker on my box and was gone in less than 5 monutes!! Also lets go into professionalism.... the guy that was the main one in charge of my house informed me off all his wifes drug usage, i happen to be tattooed and he couldn't help but tell me how sexy he thinks they are..... 100% unprofessional especially when I was home alone and this guy knew my husband was at work. Oh and their breaks... they would not even put a full 6 hour day in. I told them i can not be here until after 9 am because I have to drop my kids off at school. a number of times they showed up before I even left to drop my kids off. I did not want to leave guys in my house while i was not even home. I would not want to leave anyone in my house while i was not here. Then they would work for about 2 hours go outside and have a 30 min smoke break come in the house and say ok we are headed off to lunch. Could not recommend them, it would be wrong to! read more

I totally agree with pc c ! He came out to check out the situation, demanded $200 to look and give his bid. He came out looked and at my electrical situation, demanded his money. I asked what his bid was, he said he'd get back to me. HE NEVER GOT BACK TO HIM. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. He took that the money,, stuffed it in his pocket, wouldn't give me a receipt and disappeared. That's pretty shady.
