Parker at Crescent Electric helped make our home much more hospitable by wiring new ceiling lights…read moreinto our living room and upstairs, as well as adding several new outlets. Parker was precise in his work, timely in communication, reasonable in pricing, and most of all, kind, honest, and professional. Parker made sure we were active participants in the entire decision-making process and offered good suggestions as to how he could best assist us with our goals. He even took the extra time to set up his workspaces in a way so that he did not make a mess of our home. My family and I would highly recommend anyone looking for an electrician to work with Parker at Crescent Electric!

Knowing nothing…read moreabout electrical myself, I took the typical millennial approach and started searching Reddit for reliable electricians in the area. A couple of big corporate names came up, which I avoided because I like to support smaller businesses. One of the first "smaller" names with a great reputation that came up was Crescent, so I gave them a call and immediately got in touch with Parker. I explained my situation, sent over some photos, and instantly got an (attractive) quote. We got the project scheduled quickly, and when the day came around, Parker + Noah got it all done smoothly, professionally, and tidily. No hassle at all, great customer service, and all with that non-corporate feel that I value so much. Thanks guys, I'll happily hit you up again next time I need some more work done!

We originally had a time-and-materials proposal from Handyman that could vary anywhere from about $2,100 to $3,400 which was within our budget. Robert came in and suggested he just give us a fixed price (with better fixtures) so there's no confusion. We were fine with that and were pleasantly surprised when his fixed price was at the very low end of the spread we expected. He also had to repair a broken underground line at no added charge and the outcome is better than the original. Robert was great to work with, a very nice guy, and very honest and forthcoming. If needed again, he's on speed dial. Thank, Robert!

Robert was very helpful with answering our initial questions and understanding what we wanted. It did take a bit longer than I had thought, but the work is excellent! No more worries about hazards. Kathy is in the background running the phones, texts and emails, an awesome job to you too! We would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work done. Because it was electrical in nature and I work in insurance and see a lot of house fires (due to electrical issues), we opted to replace. The process was smooth and the team was amazing. They even brought out a generator so I could hook up my laptop for work. I see a lot of negative reviews and not sure why. Home repairs aren't generally cheap. I understand why they charge to come out to bid - it's time out of someone's day, gas, scheduling, etc. The inspection went great. We are relieved our problem was resolved. Thank you to Mainstream for the great work. Oh, and thanks for dealing with our crazy dog Charlee. I would highly recommend Mainstream.

The tech came to check things out. In less than 5 minutes he told me that a whole system would need to be replaced, but he couldn't give an estimate without a project coordinator. I paid the service call fee (which I think I should be refunded) and sent the inept tech on his way. We got a second opinion. The tech from a different company listened carefully when I explained everything. He did his inspection/diagnostic and after a very thorough assessment, he said that one of our capacitor wires was not connected. He reconnected the wire, also made sure all other connections were correct. NOTHING needs replaced! However, if the first tech wasn't so inept, we wouldn't have found the PERFECT company. Stay away from this place!
