Wasn't here that long, but still a very cute cafe. When I stopped by, lots of studiers filled the tables. The aesthetic and branding makes the space feel inviting, with lots to peruse. I like the lighting and use of decorative lamps. The projector menu is surprisingly crisp and easy to see, even with the slight shadow occasionally as they're taking orders or making drinks. The Mia-Mor was good, but I wish it had more of the earl grey flavor than the lavender. Still strong drink choice if you like floral flavors overall!
Delicious drinks made well. It's hard to find hojicha, and they do it well! Their matcha drinks are also very good. Kind of expensive, but their prices are pretty comparable to other cafes in San Diego. The space is pretty cool with a variety of seating options. Love that this can also be used as an event space for different types of crowds and activities.
Parking lot: spacious lot Interior: very big area to hang out. There's tons of tables and chairs. Tons of people that hang out. Nice vibe. People come here to study. Drinks: Passion fruit tonic expresso, Mia mor latte, sweet rice oolong ice tea. Nice and refreshing. From clovery (pop up in store): spam masubi focaccia, pumpkin bread, earl grey scone London fog, Christmas cookie.
Solid matcha that I would get again if in the area. The workers were kind and service was speedy. I enjoyed the woody, quaint ambiance of the inside of the cafe.
**August 2026: Sunday Afternoon Visit** My friend and I needed a spot with good Wi‑Fi to do some trip planning while we were in San Diego. He found Easy Does It, so we decided to check it out. The space felt like a college campus and library combined. It's really big, with lots of tables and chairs, but nothing felt cramped. There were cozy seating areas and even some couches, so it was easy to settle in for a while and was definitely the kind of place where people can chat, study, or work on their laptops. The vibe was perfect for what we needed, and the AC was blasting. There are two gender‑neutral bathrooms and plenty of parking, which was a nice bonus. I ordered the Matcha Cloud and swapped in oat milk. We found a spot to work at the back of the house. Honestly, this place is huge and a great spot to do work. For space and vibe, I'd give it 4 stars. My drink didn't taste memorable or like something I'd order again, but I think if I'm in the area I might be open to trying a different beverage. Overall, I'd give this place about 3.5 stars.
The Coconut Coffee Cloud was light, balanced and refreshing. The foam and coconut flakes on top added a nice texture to this drink. The barista was very attentive and answered my questions regarding the menu. This place is very large with plenty of seating and looks like a cool hangout or a place to work on your laptop. Definitely coming back to try the matcha.
Wow! If you are pretty particular about your matcha like I am, I would say that this is the place to go to! This might be my new favorite place for matcha in San Diego. If you are familiar with the Orange County cafe scene, this place feels like it can be one of those coffee shops based off the interior design, good quality of food and drinks, merchandise, overall ambiance, and more. The food and drinks I got were really delicious! There are a lot of spaces to study in the cafe with ports to charge your electronics and Wi-Fi. The service is great as well. If you are looking for something else to do after visiting the cafe, there is FotoOp, a cute photo-booth experience with a lot of different backgrounds!
Hugeee fan of easy does it- not only for the drinks, but just the vibes inside and community! Plenty of tables and natural lighting, it's the perfect place to study, work, or catch up with a friend. All the workers are really nice and helpful. They serve coffees, matchas, hojichas, and even wines! The hojicha was perfectly brewed and not too sweet. Will definitely be back here again!
I've been here a few times and never got to writing a review. I recommend this cafe for their matchas and other drinks. This time I got a Passionfruit matcha tonic. It was really refreshing and the two flavors blended really well together. Service was fast. I went on a Monday afternoon and there was no line. The cashier was really friendly and nice. My drink came out in less than five minutes. This is a really cute and quiet place to study. There's plenty of indoor seating. It's not too loud so it is a good place to study at. There is a little Mac computer by the entrance where you can take a photo. Parking can be a little bit tricky. Some spots are limited time with the green curb. I had to go around once or twice to find parking. Overall, I recommend this place and I would come back.
First time here, new matcha lover. Seriously so tasty here, I got the cloud matcha. It wasn't watered down at all and had amazing umami flavor. I believe they use Nami Matcha, long line goes by fairly quickly, lovely hangout spot with friends with a cozy chill ambiance. They also have cool mugs and little knick knacks for purchase if you're interested in their merch along with other small brands.
Super cute matcha place. This space is pretty big and I had came for a mahjong event. They have really cool decor on the store and looks like a really cool event place. I bet there is plenty of space to hang out during normal hours. Staff was super friendly and the drinks were good too. I came kind of late and got a non caffinated tea. Parking is pretty big but during the event time I'll was lucky to find a spot.
A spacious, study cafe with plenty of seating and some wall outlets. Came on a Friday morning, and it's generally pretty quiet because everyone is on their laptops working on something. A lot of solo workers! I visited with a friend just to chat, and while there's music playing in the background, I'm sure people could hear us chat lol. The seating in the back of the store opens at 10am BTW; when I got here at 10am, 99% of the seating in the main room was full. I ordered the Matcha Earl Grey ($6.50), and it was OK. I got it half sweetened (the earl grey was just part of the sweetener) and less ice. I could taste the lingering matcha, but not the earl grey. Overall it was a bit watery. The workers are kind, and the cafe itself is very clean. Lowkey kind of dark with lots of window light. Free wifi with password info next to the cashier. I'd come again to work, seems like you can stay here a long time unlike other cafes. I wouldn't suggest coming here to catch up with a friend---unless you're quiet. :)
It is a TRAVESTY... that I haven't yet written about the coffee shop I've dedicated my life to over the past year, because... well, like I said, you will always find me here! OVERVIEW Come for the equally balanced, delicious coffee AND matcha drinks; the spacious work setting; the side entertainment (like a free bookshelf + camp chairs outside), and incredible ownership. Be prepared for hard parking during peak hours (lunchtime) and possible lack of seats (especially during schooltime). DRINKS It is RARE to find a shop whose matcha is on par with its coffee; normally, one is better than the other. Easy Does It, or EDI as we affectionately call it, is pro at BOTH. With coffee served from Provecho, matcha from Nami and hojicha from Paru??? You just hit a trifecta of GOOD good. Our Typical Order: 1) Iced Earl Grey Latte - omg, I LOVE the earthiness that the earl grey syrup brings to the matcha. Matcha, to me, is either too grassy or too sweet; the earl grey syrup makes it a perfectly earthy balance. 2) Honey Cinnamon Latte - how good could a standard coffee shop latte be, you ask? They have the HCL at almost every shop, and it's not usually standout. EDI, again, blew expectations wide open. Their HCL is balanced: sweet without being saccharine; and you can actually taste the cinnamon. 3) Hojicha Latte, Hot - omg, there was a time when I ordered almost one of these A DAY. Again, another sleeper - if you like the taste of coffee but can't take the caffeine (for a late night drink, perhaps), a hojicha is a good choice. It has that grounded taste that coffee gives, and the hot version of it is like a HUG for your mouth and stomach. They also have cool inventive flavors like the Matcha Cloud, the Coconut Cream Cloud (which is a coffee cloud on top of coconut water, I hear it's refreshing), so you'll never get tired of the drinks they have here. I also want to mention that they do serve wine and beer, too... so there's something for everyone! FOOD Spend any time in a coffee shop and know... you're gonna get hungry! Thankfully, EDI has open-faced bagel sandwiches AND pastries here, all of which look mighty tasty; all of which I cannot partake in, since I am gluten free. But ohhh, gluten warriors unite! Thanks to the partnership that is Jacob of Made for Mei Mei Mochi (aka the protein mochi) and Easy Does It, you'll have your PICK of 5 different flavors of homemade, chewy, ooey, DELICIOUS MOCHI -- SANS added sugars and preservatives you normally find in the store. I'm telling you, I don't normally like mochi (it tends to be so sweet) but I love the texture. And Made for Mei Mei hits it all! Flavors include: 1) chocolate hazelnut -- which tastes like Ferrer Rocher, yum 2) ube 3) green tea / red bean 4) black sesame 5) pb&j (yes, he's stocked peanut butter & jelly, a fan-demanded flavor) My favorites are #1 and #4; sometimes I go for #2 and #5 to mix it up. Either way, I spend WAY too much on these tiny li'l treats I might as well become an early investor. AMBIENCE This place is perfect for computer work as light doesn't directly fill the whole space. I like a li'l shade when I'm staring at a bright computer screen. There are two rooms: front and back; the back is a li'l darker and more chill vibes than the front. I also appreciate that they have a free bookshelf (just replenish it with your own!), plus a few magazines scattered around (for decoration, but I still browse). I miss when coffee shops had analog media, especially for when we don't want to be glued to our screens. EXTRA CREDIT Easy Does It also offers their shop as space for community events. From mahjong with No Ambition Tile Club to wine and jazz nights IN SUM THANK YOU Easy Does It ~ Grace, Nancy, the sister I haven't met, Eugenia, and the entire team ~ for creating a lovely third space where I can work, enjoy my snacks / drinks, meet friends and co-work, and have a great conversation. You make it so easy to feel welcomed, and I'll forever be grateful for you :)

One of the best places to get a matcha latte in my opinion. There's plenty of parking and seating inside, so perfect for doing work. The baristas are super nice. The pastries are from split bakery, which is good for me because I can't eat dairy. The drinks are very good. Definitely recommend this place! read more

"A Sophisticated Tea Café with a Clean and Modern Interior" Food: I ordered the Hojicha latte. It was $7 with foam added. The flavor was rich, nutty, and deep. The cup was a bit smaller compared to other cafés, but it was so delicious that I didn't mind at all. Service: The staff were friendly and explained the menu well. Overall, they seemed energetic and welcoming. Atmosphere: Very cozy. There's generous space between seats, comfy sofas, and plenty of workspaces and power outlets. It's the kind of place young people would really love these days. I absolutely loved it. The interior design is also beautiful. read more

This spot is going to be one of the top coffee shops in San Diego, no doubt about it. Everyone working here was incredibly nice and welcoming, which really added to the experience. They even give out these super cute frog logo stickers, which is such a fun touch! My girlfriend and I tried three drinks: the iced vanilla latte, hojicha latte, and the cream top matcha. All were delicious, but the matcha really stood out--honestly the best I've had in San Diego so far. I also love that they use Provecho's coffee beans--big win for quality. Highly recommend checking this place out. I can already tell it's going to be packed daily. I will be back to grab more coffee. Cheers to Easy Does It! read more

vibes: eh ambiance: 3 stars bathroom: 3 stars drink: 5 stars I love a cold foam and they did it really well!!The hojicha cloud was a great drink, the perfect ratio of cream top to hojicha. Not too sweet, not too salty. I lowkey hated being in there LOL it was giving off a library cafe vibe, just crowded (which i don't blame them, the drinks are yummy). But i think they could've tried harder on decor for them being so popular. They just had computer print outs of their logo on the front of the building, a projector with the menu and that was it. I wanted to get in and get out haha, would not wanna do work there read more

Easy Does It feels like it knows exactly what's cool, the kind of place where the aesthetic does half the talking. The menu's easy to navigate. I went with the cloud matcha, whisked in-house, seemingly with latte-to-culinary-grade powder. Usually, when the matcha's good, it doesn't need dressing, no sugar, no foam, just quality. This one? Needed both. The cloud foam was its crutch. Without it, the drink falls flat. Smooth enough, and good color, but more show than soul. The conclusion is that it's just an ok matcha. read more

The vibe is VIBING! Open space with plenty of comfortable seatin and clean esthetic. Great music and packed with people studying/working/conversing. Ordered both the Hojicha latte and the Matcha cloud that I was able to modify to less sweet. Both drinks exceeded my expectations. Will be coming back! read more

Great place to study with your friends. There's a few large tables and outlets available and it gets pretty busy around midmorning but the atmosphere is nice. We tried the vanilla latte, hojicha, and matcha which were really good (just kind of small). They have bottles of syrup at the counter if you want to adjust the sweetness too. read more

I was in the area and decided to stop by this place because of the reviews, to be transparent it took my a few minutes to find it because the sign does not stand out at all, the people were nice and it was decently busy, I did not try the Macha so this review is just for the iced coffee which to be 100% transparent cost me over $6 and I can honestly say the one from 7/11 for $2 tastes and same if not better, I do not recommend this place in terms of iced coffee.. read more

Came here on a Saturday morning and it was fairly busy, really enjoyed the decor/space, a lot of tables for studying. Getting to the actual drinks... I can say I have had better matcha elsewhere. The price isn't too bad, which is good, because the amount you get is smaller than most places. $6 for a Matcha cloud is doable for me, but I think the actual Matcha itself tasted a little bland. I would recommend trying this place like once if you like trying new places in general. I also think it would be a great place to study/do work, but you are definitely not staying for the drinks. read more

Such a great coffee spot! SD needs more cafes like these! We tried the Matcha and Hojicha cloud lattes and they were both so delicious. There were lot of space to do work and sit with a friend to chat. There was a decent line during the time we did work for a couple of hours but the service was quick without ruining the quality of the drinks they were pushing out! read more
