Eastside Dental - Dr. Singh has been my family dentist now for almost a year now and easily the best and the most friendly dentist I have ever worked with. He gets along with you not just as your regular dentist but as a friend who wants to take good care of you, with the right advice at the right time. I am always curious to know why any dental procedure needs to be done and when would be an optimal time to do it. And the best part is, he is always willing to spend those extra few minutes with you to answer any questions you may have as a patient and is always willing to lend his ears to your concerns as a patient. Very good at making you understand as a patient what is going on with your overall oral health and hygiene. As a patient, I have always a sense of personal attention being given to me. And the same holds good for my wife as well. His office staff are very amiable as well and they are excellent at working out the numbers with regards to your insurance coverage and out of pocket of expenses, in a way that the patients do no end up overspending.. Dr. Peggy Chang and her assistant Jenny are the best! They helped my 84 year old mother with repairing her chipped tooth, and later placed a new crown for the tooth. My mom is so impressed with them, as she didn't experience any pain during and after her procedure. In addition to being highly professional and skilled, they both are so friendly, kind, and compassionate! Just wonderful people! My mom is so happy to have them taking care of her oral health. I've been saying Dr. Chang for well over a decade, back to before she merged practices with Dr. Singh. She's still great; I don't plan on changing dentists until she retires or relocates totally out of the area. That said, the new office situation is not nearly as good as it used to be when she had an individual practice. Wait times are much longer; I don't know if this is a practice thing, a COVID thing (the merge happened relatively recently, so hard to disentangle cause/effect), or a mixture. This office is also much more of an assembly line practice where you often see a different hygienist and even a different dentist each time. Indeed, if you don't specify which dentist you want to see, they just give you whoever happens to be free, even if you have a 10-15 year history with one of them. The other thing that's annoying about this is that when you schedule, you just put in the comments that you'd prefer to see a particular dentist (you don't actually get booked into that dentist's schedule), but no one checks to see whether or not that dentist will even be in the office that day until the day of or maybe the day before...after you've already arranged PTO, childcare, etc for your appointment time. So I've had my appointment cancelled within 24 hours because someone realized at the last second that the dentist I'd requested to see was actually on vacation. Funny, given that if I wanted to cancel my appointment from the patient side, I'd need to give 48 hours notice or be subject to a cancellation fee. Summary is that Dr. Chang is great, I've seen Dr. Singh once or twice and he seemed fine, but the logistical aspects of this practice are sometimes a nuisance. A good dentist is worth a mouthful of gold teeth, though, so I won't be changing any time soon. read more

Don't let the (paid?) reviews and professional photos fool you. The dental practice of dentists Singh & Chang is neglected and dirty with outdated equipment and chaotic appointment management. Me and my partner have only seen Dr Singh and because of his conduct and poor skills we won't be coming here again. Dr Chang might be good but we are not going to take that chance. read more

Dr. Singh is very friendly and I really appreciate how he thoroughly explains everything he is doing or a procedure he would recommend for you. It makes the patient feel they're in a safe environment where they can ask questions. I like how the office has a text reminder/confirm system for appointments versus a phone call - makes things easier. There's no shortage of parking either being located attached to a parking structure. Note they are only open Mon - Wed but can accommodate very early morning appointments. Dr. Singh has been my dentist for the last 15 years or so, he has a kind and friendly manner. More importantly, I believe he's done a nice a job of giving me great care without recommending unnecessary work. Dr. Singh has done well with a filling, a crown and diagnosing sensitive teeth a several times over the years. This along with regular check-ups and cleanings. The staff is also very friendly. I can't recall her name, but my last dental hygienist might be the most calming person I've met. Front desk is helpful and prompt scheduling appointments. Wow! Such a different experience from our previous dentist! It was a night and day experience. From the moment I walked into the office, I was impressed. Clean, organized, friendly smiles, availability of beverages, all things that speak volumes to me. I loved the way things were explained to me. I saw a chart with numbers that relayed to gum disease, and a light bulb went off! So, that is what all the counting is about in the dental chair! Nothing was ever explained to us at our previous dentist office. Everything was explained here, and in length! Both Jessica and Dr. Singh spent more time talking and discussing treatment plans with me, than any other dentist ever! I was made completely comfortable. Also discussed were my apprehensions with dental care. I get extremely nervous, and they made me feel at ease about methods to overcome and the amount of care they deliver. Upfront, honest, and kind is generally how I can some up their manner. Riinu is also a doll, and very present. She was training the new gal, and I witnessed a bit of the training, and there was patience behind every step. I'll be going back soon for a cleaning, and cannot wait to be back in their hands.
