From scheduling to procedure to post-op phone call, everything was just a phenomenal experience. So much so that I haven't stopped recommending them to my coworkers and anyone I come in contact with! Dr. Shahd Nawari was my endodontist and she did an excellent job. Going back to work the next day, I didn't need to take additional ibuprofen to get through the day. I can even eat on that side, just not hard or sticky stuff until I get my permanent crown. All in all, I am very very happy with Dr. Nawari and her staff. Later this year, during one of my weekly Invisalign check-ins, my orthodontist noticed a small cyst forming above the tooth that had the root canal and told me to get it checked out. I first went back to my old dentist (whom I've since switched from), and they referred me back to my original endodontist for a re-treatment. But since my previous experience there wasn't great, I decided not to go back. Instead, I found a new place -- Kirkland Endo. They require a referral from your general dentist, so I called my current dentist's office, and they immediately sent over all my records. Kirkland Endo scheduled me for a consultation the very next day and the actual treatment the day after. Super efficient! Everyone at Kirkland Endo was incredibly kind and professional. My treatment was done by Dr. Rude, and the experience was fantastic! He was kind, polite, confident, and had such a warm smile -- honestly gave me friendly "Dr. Carlisle from Twilight" vibes! The whole procedure took about an hour. From the moment the strawberry-flavored numbing gel went on to the very end, I didn't feel a hint of discomfort. The best part? He was able to treat the root canal by making a tiny hole through my crown -- then sealed it up perfectly. I didn't even need to get a new crown! I walked out feeling great and so relieved -- literally sat in my car afterward and wrote this review right away!

His skillset has provided me with exceptional pain relief, while performing with great bedside manner and explanatory dialogue during the treatment. His follow up protocol is unusual, as I've received wellness checks/calls from him on the evening of each of these visits. The staff at Issaquah Endodontics were so incredibly kind and welcoming that it really took some of the edge off for me. Dr. Gabel was outstanding. I had to have a root canal done so my nerves were both literally and figuratively wracked. Dr. Gabel said "the best root canal is one you don't feel" and he made absolutely sure I was in no pain at all. It takes a lot to make me calm in this types of situations ever since my previous bad dental experience but he was so cool, calm and collected - it was obvious I was in excellent care. The whole time I was thinking "man, this guy is a pro." He really is. I don't recommend needing a root canal but if you ever do, Dr. Gable is your guy.

I found his practice soon after moving to Redmond in 1989; his prices were low to attract customers to his new practice. The prices went up over the years, both due to inflation and Dr Hsu's advancing experience and continuing education. How often does one maintain a professional relationship through an entire career? Anyway, best wishes to him in retirement. Last time I saw Dr Hsu, he had sold his practice to one or more young dentists, and was staying on as the new owners' employee while they got used to being owners of the business. Since that visit, the new owners have relocated a couple of blocks away (apparently the old building is facing demolition), changed the name slightly, and celebrated retirement. Although there's technically some continuity there, I think it's a new business.

They are consummate, skilled professionals, and go beyond that to make you feel safe, taken care of, and like family. From the get go, they welcomed me warmly and made me feel at ease. It my first visit, and Dr. Hsu and hygienist Koral sat down with me in his office to discuss my history, concerns, and goals. I've never had a sit down like that before at the dentist. It was so nice. They made it a collaborative care plan. The exam and cleaning were thorough, painless, and informative. They explained every facet of the exam and dental health and I learned a lot! Things that I have not learned from prior dentists. In the office, COO Michelle and Dr. Hsu's daughter Hannah were the sweetest ever. So accommodating with scheduling. Their goal is to create a lifelong, collaborative plan for dental health and stability. I felt very motivated by my visit and happy to have such wonderful people to care for my teeth.
