After she checked in she was asked if she'd like to watch a movie during the procedure. There were several to pick from and the receptionist suggested one she had just watched and enjoyed. If she had opted not to watch a movie, Lake Washington is right outside the window. After the root canal there was zero pain! Hopefully I never have to get one, but if I do I'll definitely go to Dr. Samyn at Northshore Endodontics. Anevay at the front desk is very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Ashanta is outstanding - funny, charming, personable and very good at what she does. Amanda explained the charges thoroughly and she is warm, communicative, and professional. Dr. Lowe is the best! He is caring, knowledgeable, and truly excellent at what he does. He takes the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure the patient feels comfortable. He also has to be the fastest and most expert oral surgeon I've ever seen. He had two extractions to do for my mom and she was in and out in less than 30 minutes with almost no swelling, minimal pain, and very smooth healing. He's a unicorn! My daughter has a lot of anxiety around the dentist from some awful past experiences, but Dr. Lowe and his team put her right at ease. We will take her in soon to have her wisdom teeth out. Now granted for pretty much everyone, going to the dentist is really a chore, and not something we typically enjoy, but they definitely tried their hardest. First with the office staff with their great directions as well as getting me in about a week before my original appointment. Then on to my x-rays, cleaning and exam all of which went really smoothly. I had different people who did my x-rays versus who did the cleaning all of which did an excellent job and were all very friendly. Dr. Gentling was very kind and I was happy with my dental exam. Most of the staff have been there for a very long time many around 20 years. That says a lot about the dental office. I'm thrilled I found them. I just lucked out that I had gotten a coupon and therefore decided to give them a shot. I did call back a few days after the fact to inquire about what the cost would've been had I not had the coupon seeing as I do not have insurance and have to pay out-of-pocket. The cost was about $90 more than most of the other dental clinics. I have been to recently. I definitely like GentlingSmiles 1,000 times more than any of the other dental offices, but I'll have to decide if it's worth the $90 difference to return in six months. I assume most people have dental insurance and therefore wouldn't have this issue. But it was definitely a great experience! everything from the waiting room to the wonderful people who work here.

Mandy was able to get my mom in quickly and I am so grateful she did.
