This review is for Dr. Fred Hsu's clinic…read more I had a great experience today during my appointment. Even though I was there for a whole two hours and endured some X-ray pain and prickling to my gums... it was good. I know a lot more about my teeth and learned that I have a cavity on my wisdom tooth. FML. But anyway, the service was EXCEPTIONAL. Loretta at the front desk was so helpful and friendly!!! Devorie, who was the lead assistant, was super awesome and kind. When she was taking my x-rays and stuffing the slides into my mouth, she made sure that I was comfortable and that I wasn't in too much pain, she was so thoughtful. I really liked her. Dr. Hsu was cool too, I asked him a lot of questions about my teeth and he was glad that I asked because people normally just want their teeth done and be done with everything. But yeah, he was great at what he did and my teeth felt SOOOO much cleaner afterwards. I highly recommend these folks! Their web site is very good and helpful as well.

Dr. Lee has been practicing for over 30 years (& worked as a dentist for the military) and you can…read morefeel that experience the moment you walk in. This is not a corporate dental office--it's a small, intimate practice where both Dr. Lee and his long-time receptionist make you feel welcome and at ease. The office is clean, calm, and personal, with spotless bathrooms and a genuine sense of care throughout. Dr. Lee did my cleaning and X-rays himself, which is rare and appreciated. He was personable, efficient, and made the whole process easy. I had to move out of the area before I could return for a filling, but I truly wish I could have stayed with this office long-term. One important note: my husband needed multiple root canals, and while Dr. Lee began two of them, he scheduled the follow-up nearly a month later instead of completing them the same day. Unfortunately, that delay led to an infection, a trip to the ER, and a round of antibiotics. So if you're having more serious procedures done, it's worth confirming the treatment plan and timeline in advance. That said, I still have a lot of respect for Dr. Lee and his team. For cleanings, general dental work, and a friendly, non-corporate environment, he's one of the best. I'm genuinely sorry I'm not local anymore--I'd happily return.

I needed a dental cleaning done. I called and made an appointment here. My appointment was…read morescheduled for like 3-4 weeks from the day I called. I showed up on my appointment day, only to find out that I was NOT getting a dental cleaning that day, something the receptionist I spoke with when making my appointment neglected to mention. Apparently, for what I can only assume is an attempt to maximize insurance charges, they require you to go your exam/x-rays in a separate appointment from your actual cleaning. This was super irritating because I don't drive and I'm a full-time student, so it was just a huge inconvenience. Furthermore, the assistant I dealt with was physically pushy and continually made negative comments about my facial jewelry. She would ask me questions and then interrupt me while I was answering them. The dentist who did the exam was unnecessarily argumentative and not the least bit empathetic about the level of pain I was in during her exam. She kept barking at me to open my mouth more as if I was closing it intentionally and not as an instinctive physical reaction because what she was doing was painful. Overall, this visit was the stuff of nightmares that makes people like me extremely anxious about going to the dentist and fuels the belief that dentists are simply sadists. I returned (again, like 3 weeks later) for my cleaning. A completely different person did my actual cleaning, Wayne, and he was the only person I dealt with during the appointment. I was completing dreading my cleaning after my first appointment, but Wayne was an absolute saint. He was incredibly gentle and caring, and my cleaning was completely uneventful and untraumatic. Wayne is a gem. The rest of the staff, I'm not so sure about.
