The Doctor is a good listener, and made sure that all of my concerns and issues were addressed before the surgery. I had her do 2 dental implants for me. I am very pleased with the results ! The process was smooth, and most professional. For the first implant I elected to be awake during the surgery. Everything went nicely. The Doctor, and her Assistant, Shauna were efficient and very thorough. (Shauna was so nice, too !) During the procedure they provided me with details on where in the process we were. There was no pain during the procedure. The pain after surgery was just for about one day. It is now over a year later, and I am most pleased with the surgery; the implanted post; and the top tooth. I had a second implant recently. For this tooth I chose to be sedated during the process. The implant went smoothly, and the results are great ! In a few months I will have a follow-up exam with the Doctor, and the schedule the top tooth. I don't remember much from the surgery, but observe that I have a great implant now ! The "support staff" in the office are excellent. The Front Desk staff person was detailed and helpful. The clinical staff were professional, and kind. Throughout the process, there was good attention paid to my comfort; and the overall focus on a "good outcome". Dr. Nagatomo is very experienced and well educated in this profession. He got me in same day I called for my first visit (I think there was a cancellation). A few weeks later I was back for extraction and implant. Right after the implant I went to my regular dentist to get my flipper fitted, but my dentist ran out of time and gave me an ill fitting retainer. I called Dr. B's office in a panic, and he saw me same day and fixed the fit. So grateful for that and not having to go with a missing front tooth! The reason I started going here was for them to fix a chipped tooth that has continuously broken over the years. After coming to ACD, I have not had any breakage experience with the composite fixing over my tooth and it looks like a real one!!! I have had many CTs for different problems in the past and asked if the neck CT was necessary since I don't have any current neck complaint. The receptionist wouldn't even ask the dentist to consider my history of exposure. Given a history of CTs in the past, it's important to evaluate each patient individually and decide if CT is absolutely necessary, per every primary medical source I checked. This office policy is not balanced or, in my opinion, safe.

I met with Dr Tarletons assistant and was led to a very clean room for the procedure. The Doctor and his assistant were very efficient AND proficient. As sucky as getting your mouth carved up is, these people made me feel like they genuinely cared about me and were doing their very best to make my procedure comfortable.
