I never thought I'd describe going to the dentist as a genuinely enjoyable experience... but here we are. Lederman and Lederman DDS in Bellevue is hands down the best dental experience I've had. From the moment you walk in, everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming (which feels very on-brand for a dental office). The vibe is relaxed, there's great music playing, and yes -- there are adorable dogs roaming around the office. Instant mood boost. Jordan was my hygienist and she was warm, engaging, and extremely professional. She made the entire appointment feel easy and comfortable instead of clinical and awkward. Dr. Rachel Lederman has helped me with a few procedures now, and she was fantastic each time. She explained everything ahead of time so I knew exactly what to expect, which made me feel completely at ease and prepared. No surprises, no stress -- just excellent care. They were also very thoughtful about my overall dental health, recommending a specific toothcare setup tailored to me -- floss, waterpik, mouthwash -- the whole game plan. It genuinely feels like they care about long-term results, not just the appointment in front of them. This is not the typical "ugh, I have a dentist appointment" experience. Dr Paul Lenderman made a night guard for me that was not inexpensive. When I went in for the fitting it did not fit properly over a front tooth. He went back several times to grind the area that did not fit. I took the night guard back to Dr Lenderman shortly after. He had ground it down so much that the tooth had no coverage. The night guard doubles as a retainer from having had braces, so all teeth need to be supported. Dr Lenderman said that the guard supports the teeth on either side, so did not need to be remade. The night guard is also too shallow and does not stay on. I called again a few months later and spoke with his front desk person to make an appointment for him to remedy the fit. She said that he would not remake the night guard/retainer. I had to have another ($600) retainer made by a more skilled (and ethical) dentist. read more

this is the letter I sent to Dr. Paul Lederman Dear Dr. Paul, I wanted to take this time to express my pleasure and satisfaction at the service provided by your clinic. "Pleasure" may sound totally out of context when it comes to a dental visit and I have been there so many times and know very well what it could be like. But I was so surprised by your environment and atmosphere of professionalism as well as promptness of service. It is perhaps the universal opinion held by the public that dental visits are to be feared and dreaded. If all other dental practices were as good as yours, then such widespread beliefs would be dispelled. I was particularly impressed by the technology. Capping a tooth was a week-long process which required a cast and a second visit. The 3D process which allowed immediate cap manufacturing was a wonder! Thanks again to you and your staff. I came here for a teeth cleaning and this was the fanciest dentist I've been to in terms of cleaning. The hygienist was super gentle with the tools, this was the first time I never experience any pain during a teeth cleaning. Afterwards I used a fluoride bite to close the openings in teeth bones that were opened during cleaning, and had a polish of which flavor I could choose (they had vanilla, strawberry, etc.) Although my dental insurance didn't cover the whole amount as I later found out, I am still happy to pay extra for better health care. read more

I cannot say enough about this Dr. and his amazing team/staff. Dr. Lederman is a artist and 1000%; a master of his craft. I was so lucky to receive a referal to his office. My significant other who has been told numerous times by other dentists that they could not work with his implant saw him recently when his tooth snapped off his retainer. Dr. Lederman fixed it in a matter of hours a day after he lost it. We will both come back for life. read more

I can not say enough about Dr's Regina & Paul Lederman and their entire team. Every person in the office gave me the best service possible. I had a traumatic experience with a prior tooth extraction and was worried for weeks before today's appointment for a tooth extraction. Dr. Paul was so understanding, he was efficient and told me what to expect every step of the way. I could not believe how quickly he had a molar out and how painless it was. I can not say how much I appreciated his expedient thorough work. On my first visit Dr. Regina and Jordy, the dental hygienist, were both so helpful and had great suggestions for my dental care. First there was the gentle clanging of the dental scraper against the enamel of my bicuspids first followed by incisors. I opted for Strawberry from the myriad of flavors presented. The spinning instrument cleansing followed by the Mr. Slirpy was a refreshing change for me from years of mint or pina colada. I did opt for the classic mint for the fluoride and as usual was not disappointed. Jordan the hygienist was a mix of professional competence, delightful personality and amusing sense of humor. I am a certified "dentist phobic". I am THAT patient. The one who needs Valium and please crank up the gas ... It's no joke! As a result, I've avoided the dentist chair for many years... Way too many! A couple of weeks ago I found myself in a dental emergency and had nowhere to go. I turned to family and friends and got the name and contact info for Dr. Lederman. I called their office and to my surprise, was in the same day. Sadly the doctor had some news for me that wasn't good. I needed extensive work done and it needed to be done quickly in order to relieve the debilitating pain that I was in. Worse than the pain caused by my years of neglect was the proposal for the necessary work. I walked out of their office literally in tears. I had had dental insurance for 25 years, never used it even once and now had none. For the cost of what I needed to do I could have bought a car - no exaggeration for dramatic effect.... True story. Called the office the next morning and went back in, again the same day, to just meet with the doc to discuss all options available to me. I couldn't believe the patience this physician was showing me. We went over all of the many approaches, pros and cons for each, the costs associated and I finally decided on the best plan for me. It felt like a real team atmosphere. Anyway, my road to recovery will be a long journey but I couldn't be happier with my selection of Dr. Lederman. His team is literally amazing... No teeth-neglect-shaming here whatsoever. They genuinely care and want to help. A perfect example, last Friday I had a lot of work done. I was there for hours and went home knowing I would be spending a substantial amount of time in bed recovering over the next couple of days. At 9:30pm, Dr. Lederman called me personally. He wanted to check to see how I was doing and to make sure I had his cell number over the long holiday weekend. I mean really!?!? Who does that anymore? Fantastic dentist and staff here. I had an old crown done years ago someplace else and it fell out. Several local dentist all wanted to pull the remaining tooth and sell me an implant or make a bridge - Dr Lederman, explaining the various methods available to me- reglued my crown- that was two years ago. Have been a happy patient ever since... would recommend this business to anyone. Presently I have invisalign to straighten some bottom teeth-and it's working great- whereas other dentist said I'd need expensive veneers- totally trust this guy- everyone is on a first name basis- and he doesn't try to sell you something you don't really need. read more
