Not only did I get a better price than I expected, but the process was worry-free. My car was in the Rockville, MD area, but Mountain Motors came to me. Mountain Motors drove the vehicle to Frederick with Its dealer plates, so I was not liable were there an accident. MM deposited the sale moNey in. my bank account. He monetizes off of the unfortunate situations of others and sells them vehicles that are salvage title that would not have even passed Maryland Inspection. Like other patrons have previously left in their reviews. He has hired his own personal Maryland Inspector who works there once a week and passes all the illegal cars. My 2006 Toyota Corolla was sold to me around July 2024 with the check engine light on, left and right front apron bent (frame), left front bumper hanging from previous accident, extreme pull to right when drove. I have replaced front tires 8 times, brakes, alternator, and battery 5 times due to electrical miswiring. Exhaust that comes up through holes in floor which is a carbon-monoxide issue to the point it is nauseating. They make no attempt to remedy the situation since notified within 24 hours of purchase not only to Bruce but to Owen who sold the vehicle. I spoke with Bruce Jett directly the morning after(9:00am) purchase of 8:30pm, and was told he did the legal minimal requirement required by law, he would not provide different vehicle, nor return my money. He stated don't bother with a lemon law approach because not a new vehicle. I have been told by a body shop that this salvage vehicle is not safe to drive nor should have been sold with bent frame. Another mechanic shops states that this vehicle should not have even passed inspection and is not legal in Maryland. I also notified Jeanne (finance manager) verbally and by email of the situation. However, even now when I reach out to Jeanne, their financial company representative ,which is located on site. In fact he has three separate businesses listed , yet in one building. The Mountain Motors portion who supposedly sells the cars, Royal Trust the finance Company and his Auto shop with yet another name. that is located at the dealership that Bruce also owns. I tried to trade in on another vehicle yet would not provide pay off amount. I have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Please do not trust these people with no parts of an experience that you should be happy and enjoyable. Save yourself from going through what myself and so many other people have/are going through with this dealership. Their Google Reviews and their rating here and on BBB all show this is a repeat thing that is happening to many customers and they need to be stopped.

They did not however ever fill up the gas tank. So we took delivery of a vehicle with no gas... even after getting it fixed when they could have taken it next door and filled up they didn't. The tire sensor appears to have gone out according my BF - I guess when they fixed the short, it fixed that as well... The dealer kept hassling me for a binder and I told them that when we got the car back and were confident that we were going to keep it, I would provide them with the binder but that there was no need to add it to my insurance if we weren't going to keep it. Another thing that came up... a major accident repair was not disclosed to us upon purchase, nor did it appear in the Auto Check report (recall that's what we got when we asked for the Car Fax). But, apparently my insurance agent, while adding it to my policy found that there had been a major repair for body work costing over 9K. That was hard to believe considering that is half the worth of the vehicle (new ones NOW sell for 18K base) - I thought if a repair cost that much that they would just total a vehicle. Anyway, the failure to disclose does not sit well with me, but again, it is the BF's car; asked if he still wanted it and he said yea... so, we still have it... I would have turned it back over tot he dealer and gone and gotten the other one of which I spoke in Arlington. Although I said I might bump up the star rating, because of the failure to disclose the major repair and car history I have to keep it here. Am actually tempted to drop it, but, they were prompt in repairing the lights and the little guy who did it actually seemed quite good. So there is the update... bottom line is buyer beware; but that's really applicable I think to ANYONE when dealing with auto dealers. If I had to do anything different, knowing now what I know, anytime I go to purchase another used vehicle, I will be calling my insurance agent first since they have no vested interest in the transaction and in this case, found what apparently the dealer and Auto Check couldn't. There you have it folks. Cheers @

In 2022, I purchased a brand-new Kia Sorento, and just eight months later the vehicle began having major mechanical problems. Since then, the transmission has been replaced five times. Each repair required my vehicle to stay in the shop for a month or more, which significantly impacted both my personal life and my business. Throughout this entire process, I was dealing with these repeated breakdowns and extended repair periods while pregnant, and later while caring for a newborn, in addition to traveling with two other children. Despite being aware of this, the dealership never once showed empathy, flexibility, or concern for how severely this situation affected my family and day-to-day life. Most recently, while my vehicle was again in the shop, the dealership provided a rental vehicle that also broke down. I was originally told the tow would be covered. Later, I received a text stating I would be responsible for the tow, with the explanation that the rental shut down due to low gas. AAA confirmed this was not the case, and I personally verified the vehicle still showed approximately 20 miles of fuel remaining. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the situation escalated further. I was told my car would not be released unless I paid the fee. While my husband was on speakerphone explaining that a dealership cannot legally withhold a customer's vehicle without a valid, disclosed repair charge, the service representative assisting me, Ado, laughed and walked away while the legality of the situation was being explained. When I was again told I would not receive my vehicle unless I paid, I contacted the police to document the situation. Management later stepped in, acknowledged the fee should not have been applied, and released my vehicle. After I left, the service manager accidentally called me while discussing me and the situation, believing she was speaking with someone else. During that call, she questioned my reaction, despite being fully aware of what had taken place earlier. That call further highlighted the lack of professionalism and accountability throughout this experience. In addition, the primary service advisor I dealt with, Jack, was consistently condescending and dismissive, which only added to an already stressful situation. This dealership's handling of my vehicle and the way I was treated--from service staff to management--was unacceptable. After 14 years of Kia ownership, this dealership has single-handedly destroyed my confidence in the brand. I would never purchase another Kia and strongly advise others to avoid this dealership.

I have contacted the dealership as well as Ike the owner... I began documenting our communications. At this point they are not acknowledging my attempts to reach them. I had problems getting my temporary tags when the permanent tags were not received. I started by interacting with them via phone because they were great when I bought the car... but they didn't follow through on what they said via phone. Now I insist on all communication being in writing. I suggest you do the same. Yes, I was very happy with the purchase process as I stated below, but after they got my money, their aftercare IS HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. I will NOT recommend them... at all! On Saturday, I got a text just 45 minutes before closing saying it was ready--no other info provided. Picked up the next business day (Monday) due to late notice. I was charged additionally for "adding" differential fluid due to "low level" even though it had just been serviced two weeks earlier. On top of that, they claimed there were no worn gears or issues, directly contradicting what was clearly visible two weeks prior. Poor communication, questionable charges, and a completely dismissive assessment. Would not recommend
