When I first arrived, I had a little trouble finding the front entrance because there are several buildings on the property. Once I found my way in, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful the grounds are. There is a lovely tropical area with a koi pond that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. They also have a really nice gift shop with so many unique items to choose from, including teas, crystals, lotions, and other fun wellness and self-care products. It was definitely worth taking some time to browse. I had a wonderful experience with my massage. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. My niece also had a massage there and had a great experience as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Four Moons Spa and can definitely see why it's considered a hidden gem. I will absolutely be back!

From the moment you arrive, it feels like you've stepped into a serene healing portal. The lush gardens, koi pond, mature trees, cozy outdoor spaces, and thoughtful details create an atmosphere that immediately invites you to slow down and breathe. I had an amazing massage with Violet, who struck the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutic care. She listened to exactly what my body needed and I left feeling completely renewed. Thank you, Violet! My facial with Alexis was one of the best I've ever experienced. The highlights were the lymphatic drainage massage, the cooling ice globes, and the incredible hydration my skin received. My face felt sculpted, refreshed, and absolutely glowing afterward. Thank you, Alexis! The spa itself is just as memorable as the treatments. We enjoyed relaxing in the tranquil outdoor spaces surrounded by greenery, the peaceful koi pond, and the calming ambiance that makes it easy to forget you're only minutes from San Diego.

Before my massage, I filled out a questionnaire about my needs and any areas I wanted the therapist to focus on, I appreciated this. I wasn't exactly sure which massage I needed so I explained how my body was feeling and the type of pressure I preferred, and my therapist Nadia took it from there. I was lucky enough to travel to Thailand last year and experience a proper Thai massage, and ever since then I've been dreaming about finding something similar here in the States. My fiancé searched high and low for a massage for my birthday and came across Emerald Day Spa, and I'm so glad he did! This was honestly one of the best massages I've ever had in the U.S. For a split second I felt like I was back in Thailand My body was so sore and tense before I came in, and afterward I felt completely relaxed. My therapist really listened to me and worked on all of my target areas. I already feel such a difference! I also had a great conversation with Peter at the front desk about Thailand, and it was awesome to learn that he was actually from the same area I had visited. It made the experience feel even more special and authentic. You can really tell that this family owned business truly cares about finding massage therapists who know what they're doing. They even offered me hot tea after the appointment which was delicious. If you're looking for an authentic Thai massage experience, I promise look no further. I highly recommend Emerald Day Spa and will absolutely be coming back! Thank you :)

I found Emerald Day Spa online and called for more information. Luigi, who I later learned was the owner, answered the phone and was incredibly helpful, patiently addressing all my questions and providing the information I needed. We scheduled our appointments for a couple of hours later. When we arrived, Luigi greeted us warmly and gave us the forms to fill out. These forms covered the type of massage we wanted and any health issues we might have. My wife and I opted for deep tissue massages, and while I was fine with the masseuse stepping on my back, my wife was not. We also requested to be in the same room. In the end, our rooms were adjacent, and the staff simply slid the wall between them to create one larger space. After 90 minutes of intense deep tissue massage, which at times made me want to scream due to my numerous stiff muscles, I walked out feeling relaxed and much better. The therapist seemed to find every tight muscle in my back, even some I didn't know existed, and worked through them with impressive skill. My wife, who is very particular with massages, was even happier with her massage! After our massages, Luigi welcomed us back, offered us a few pieces of chocolate while processing my credit card payment, and reminded us to stay hydrated. We chatted for a few minutes before leaving.

Some places get that wrong and I don't know if I'm just fussy, but that bothers me. This place got the atmosphere perfectly. The massage was phenomenal. I had to stop myself from drooling. She has a magic power where she can feel the nasty spots and work it out. Lord, it was amazing. She was very gentle but very effective. I'm 8 months pregnant, and if you've ever been in this position, you know it's uncomfortable. Here, I was more relaxed than I've been in a while. I was transported to the deeply relaxed hypnotic state. I didn't need to shift my weight, I didn't need to keep trying to find a comfortable position, I just immediately found it and zoned out. It was incredibly blissful. After it was done, I got that super drunk feeling you get after a good massage. The relaxation was very powerful. I took a long time getting out because I was trying not to fall over, lol. I noticed that the horrible tingling feeling in my legs before I went in there was gone, as well as a headache I had been tolerating for a couple days. Yep, she removed the pain with her magic. This was a wonderful massage. I'm trying to figure out how I can manage going every week until my due date. I cannot give Shasta enough praise. She is a master at this craft!

Mia is the Standard that Every Massage Therapist Should Aspire To…read more I've been receiving massage therapy for over 30 years, and I've worked alongside athletes, first responders, military personnel, and people whose bodies take a beating every single day. Because of that, I don't hand out five-star reviews lightly. Mia is simply exceptional. From the moment you meet her, you realize she genuinely cares about helping people feel better--not just getting through another appointment. She listens, pays attention to what your body is telling her, and tailors every session to what you actually need instead of giving everyone the same routine. Her pressure, technique, and intuition are on another level. She has an incredible ability to locate problem areas that other therapists completely miss, and she works them with confidence, precision, and professionalism. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, stress, injuries, or simply need to reset after a demanding week, Mia has a gift for helping your body recover. As a disabled Army Veteran living with multiple service-related injuries, finding someone I trust isn't easy. Mia has earned that trust. She creates an environment where you can actually relax while knowing you're in capable hands. What impressed me most wasn't just her technical skill--it was her consistency. Every visit reflects the same level of care, respect, and commitment to helping her clients leave better than they arrived. If you're looking for an average massage, there are plenty of places that can provide one. If you're looking for someone who treats massage therapy as an art, understands the human body, and genuinely wants to help people heal, Mia belongs on a very short list. Some professionals become popular because they're convenient. Mia becomes unforgettable because she's outstanding. She isn't just someone I'd recommend. She's someone I'd confidently send my family, my closest friends, my fellow veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, athletes, and anyone else who depends on their body every day. In my opinion, Mia has earned what very few professionals ever do: A reputation that is worth the drive, worth the wait, and worth every dollar. Thank you, Mia, for the care, professionalism, and heart you bring to every session. It doesn't go unnoticed.
